  1. I might switch off at this point, we've already seen so much, maybe too much
  2. These Treehouse guys are so sugary sweet. "Niiiice."
  3. Yep, they just had to put on cold gear to go to a snowy mountain. The no towns thing sounds like it's tied to the post-apocalyptic storyline. It also ties back nicely with the original LOZ. We've seen structures (a castle surrounded with dark energy) and NPCs so I'm not worried, I think the Metroid-like sense of isolation the game seems to have will more than make up for it. Sounds like this is a story about reclaiming Hyrule.
  4. Is that the Deku leaf!!! The animation for making the raft move by waving the fan around is really good Basically the polar opposite kind of game to Skyward Sword. The latter held your hand at every turn, it was so linear and the disconnected overworld basically quashed any sense of exploration. Breath of the Wild couldn't seem any more different. edit: he just rode his shield down a hill!
  5. Wind seems to effect where flames will spread. Nice throwback to the original LOZ, being able to set trees and bushes on fire and use fire as a weapon, as mentioned on Treehouse just now. Combat definitely needs lots of polishing, I suspect that's a big part of the next 9 months
  6. Crafting seems to play a huge part in this game. Jose from IGN mentioned when he was shown the game you had to brew your own potions using enemy parts etc
  7. Like everything else in this game, beautiful. It's a good sign box art is out, means the game isn't too far off. I love the explosions in this game lol, like mini nuclear bombs. The bomb explosions in the Bomb Shrine were so cool when detonated, and the fire arrows had a really cool animation too.
  8. Is anyone watching the Livestream? The magnesis power looks amazing! This game man, wow.
  9. Fuck me. The gameplay demo was incredible. Modern openworld game + Nintendo = Game of the Show It's like learning a whole new Zelda language and that's so exciting. I somehow missed him climbing the Temple of Time. Glorious. I like how it just seems to dump you into the world, no two hour opening tutorial. It also felt very lonely, almost Metroid-like.
  10. It looks like a game world I just want to get lost in and explore. Can't say that about the likes of Horizon or God of War, even though those two games look incredible too. That Nintendo difference! Utterly beautiful, I can't stop watching the trailer! Also, voice acting confirmed??
  11. Reggie said the part they're demo-ing is a tiny fraction of the world.
  12. Wipes the floor with everything we saw yesterday IMO. Absolutely beautiful. The game looks utterly EPIC. Lovely music too. Wow
  13. Motion controls because Link is right handed? Come on, won't happen.
  14. I hadn't even registered that. Even if Sony don't follow suit, developers will still have to target one of the consoles to build their game for, and then adapt it for the other one. What a mess.
  15. I'm the same, E3 conferences have been a bit lackluster for me personally, a lot of samey games, but I'm seriously excited for Nintendo to deliver that Zelda magic in a few hours.
  16. Say what you will about the Scorpio, I just wouldn't describe it as "a very good thing for the consumer". I'll be buying a PS4K because I'm weak willed and want the latest tech, and so would have spent £600 this gen, instead of £300.
  17. That's what it is I think. They're looking for a new home because of the Reaper threat
  18. Interesting to hear Xbox creator Seamus Blackley being extremely sceptical of this move. He doesn't seem a fan at all. I'm glad it won't be out till Q4 2017 though, at least that puts a bit more daylight from the console's original launch. By suggesting they spend £300 every 3-4 years instead of every 7-8?
  19. It is but no way will it actually make that date IMO, I'm expecting a significant delay based on how we barely saw anything yesterday
  20. I love their goofy E3 pics
  21. 'Best use of the game pad', rubbing your sylus back and forward manically, I'm not so sure, but the game itself is great and it's nice to see it'll get a lot more attention now.
  22. Thanks I will do but I'm racking my brain trying to think of an appropriate time to bring this up. If I'd mentioned it when someone was complaining about amiibo people would say "Why bring Battlefield up". Anyway, moving on.... the game looks great, lovely visuals and looks loads of fun
  23. Sorry, what exactly is your point? Complaining about content locked amiibo is fine but complaining about microtransactions isn't ? There's another example for you @Ashley
