  1. Sounds good, I'm in. I sort of wanted to do that at the party a couple weeks ago but forgot that visitors can't take items 'placed', only ones that are dropped.
  2. Got it when I first started the game. Haha patch notes just say they've adjusted the frequency, given all the complaints I assume that means they've lowered them. I don't really get the hate myself, apart from the balloon ones, those are just silly.
  3. First time watching Rebels yes, I was the same as you, questioning whether I should go back and watch Clone Wars, one season in, but I decided to press on. I'm over half way through season 3 and I wouldn't say I feel like I'm missing that much backstory, but maybe that will change.
  4. The latest patch from Nintendo has adjusted the drop rates for eggs. Quick work!
  5. Nearly half way through season 3 of Rebels and it's SO GOOD. I love the characters, Zeb needs his own show. The episode with him and Callus was outstanding. It's crazy how much better it is to Resistance, I enjoyed that show at the time but seeing Rebels now it's night and day.
  6. The fishing tournament on Saturday will be interesting if the Bunny Day stuff is still active. Maybe it'll be turned off that day. Someone ask the creepy Bunny, I'm not going near him.
  7. A good time to plug this video by Mark Brown explaining things...
  8. It's designed to be a long term game, something you check in to every day for 6 months, 12 months or more, not something where everything can be accomplished in the first two weeks.
  9. Really enjoying the egg hunt, it came at the perfect time too. I basically spent over an hour just walking around the island grinding eggs, cherry blossom leaves and the usual fish and bugs. Kind of wish there was a separate Bunny Day tab on the crafting page though
  10. I think it’s a great decision. Stops time travellers and data miners revealing everything. This way there’s still some sense of surprise, which is pretty rare in the industry these days Can you tether the Switch to your phone maybe @Glen-i
  11. If it makes you feel better, Zipper the bunny is creepy af. Bunny Day concept is fun though.
  12. I was really looking forward to the game (for what felt like years) then when it came out it seems it was a bit disappointing from what I read so I never got round to playing it.
  13. It's a small quality of life improvement but I love how you can move things in half increments now. It makes my OCD with lining everything up so much easier to deal with! Just Googled Sprocket, good riddance! Not that I'm judging a villager by their face or anything...
  14. Building bridges is... not cheap. Nook
  15. Hooray, finally some new music! A real shame paths are unlocked so late, that's probably one of the first things I'd want to put down I'm pretty sure there's a way of getting them to move in, I've not read what it is though. Better be, or else that ebay money spent on Henry and Rosie have gone to waste.
  16. Wow, actual music that isn't the same tune I've been hearing for 10 days! Nice one on the catch, I'll keep trying.
  17. I remember really loving Sunshine at the time, not played it since though. My two overriding memories... spoilers for @Julius lol... were the level with that big mirrors (how good did those look!) and the manta ray hotel attack. But I agree it's definitely the game that could do with the most modernising.
  18. Fair enough I've not looked into it enough. I figured it was one source and all the others reported on it. It would be a good way of responding to people's concerns they don't have much this year without actually announcing anything, yet. Never realised it was commonly known that Nintendo leaked the specs to Eurogamer, I figured they just had someone on the inside who got them the info.
  19. I feel like the lack of paid DLC for Odyssey means it has to be a sequel. The game was received so well and they probably have a ton more ideas for the capture mechanic. But yeah, these remasters throw a spanner in that. Unless whatever new game they're working on is a 2021 thing, with BOTW 2 maybe. I'd like to believe they'd release double packs, but this is Nintendo, they know they can just sell every game separately for £50 and they'll sell 5+ million of each. Unless they've not done too much work to them I'd expect standalone releases, one every month or two maybe. They're all about secrecy and revealing big things like this on their own terms though?
  20. If anyone has a spare Stringfish or Sturgeon could I possibly take it off your hands, they're the only two I'm missing before March is up and as much as I try and find them I've not been able to.
  21. It's a real shame this news has leaked, it would have been such a brilliant surprise. But as usual, leakers gotta have their 5 minutes of fame.
  22. Emily Rogers, one of the few (only?) insiders worth listening to, has been suggesting that 2020 "will be a good year to a plumber" for months now. I assumed that meant Odyssey 2 as their big end of year game, but maybe it means the above (too?) That would be amazing. I adore that game. But yeah, some of the rest sounds a bit hard to believe.
