Well it's more just wanting a complete collection of DIY recipes for completion sake. Specifically missing the cherry blossom bonsai, branches, clock, pond stone, Sakura-wood flooring and Sakura-wood wall. Just surprised how hard to find they are given the window to get them is 10 days long.

The actual design looks very concept arty if the brief was "sleek and futuristic". 7 and 9 in the above tweet are much better imo. I'm sure we'll get something like those eventually. A shame Playstation don't do that awesome design lab thing Xbox do where you can colour your own controller. Also a shame they don't make an Elite version (yet)

FFS, spent two hours farming 18 non-egg balloon presents and there was a grand total of ONE cherry blossom DIY recipe in them Still have like 6 I'm missing, and only two days to get them. (Thanks @Hero-of-Time for the spare you sent)

I'm pretty sure flowers survive fine without watering, it's just if you do more seem to grow around them and sometimes in rare colours.

Really? The gaming community has shown nothing but contempt for the months and months of radio silence from Sony, and then when they finally start talking, it's that disastrous Mark Cerny thing that was being ridiculed all over the internet. Xbox has been releasing small amounts of information for a while now too, starting even earlier than Playstation. It's just how they've decided to do things this gen it seems.

I know what you mean about waiting for terraforming, it's just annoying having to pull out the vaulting pole every time until then. I just can't decide on a look! It's good that it lets you get the kit from Nook, try it out and then cancel if you don't like it though.

You know that thing in restaurants when you can't decide what to order? That's me every single time I try and buy a bridge or incline. I still haven't actually bought a second one, even though I've asked Nook about them a dozen times. How long did you have the controller for? And what light setting was it on? I'm just wondering because regardless of what Sony say (probably to cover themselves), it should be more like 8-10 based on my experience with 5 different pads over the years. I know you didn't play your PS4 much so maybe it was running out of juice between plays, which I know happened with my Wii U controller. I've bought 3 different controllers over the years, all the same. 4, 5 at most. Anyway I don't want to derail this thread to talk about the DS4, as long as this new one is closer to the 30-40 hour range of their competition I'll be happy.

Sony's own estimates say 4-8 hours. Basically lasts me a couple of sessions before running out of battery.

Biggest takeaway is they've finally ditched the usual DualShock shape and gone for the more comfortable Xbox/Switch Pro type mould. Any word on battery life? Hopefully better than the pitiful 4 hours on the DS4.
