Thats is a pretty sweet package, the gpu is pretty good also, will handle the top games at decent settings. Do you really need a dvd rom drive as well as a dual layer one? Unless you make a lot of disk to disk copies that is.

Jaggies on your monitor all comes down to how good a monitor you have, its not gonna be amazing for £250.

The PS3 will not fail, no matter how expensive it is becuase it is playstation and people love it. Having blu-ray drive in the PS3 will not cost too much. For start blu-ray is soon to go into mass production with the first devices arrving here in the UK. By the time the PS3 comes around the price will have dropped. Although we know what the blu ray drive can do, we still don't know what spped it burns at, this is another consideration when coming to prices.

Dell are perfectly suited to the average user who doesn't want to spend much. You wont get much of fear or COD 2 with £900 to play with.

All this personality stuff is utter bullshit, Obviousy you dont want a complete airhead but I have yet to see a person who goes completely on personality.

I believe it is a disease. Wooselelitis - the ailment in which people like to suck up to and laugh at everything guy and mike say. It is believed this spawns from woosel. Guy and Mike are seen as 'popular', hence why people want to praise them in the hope they may reach the same status. As you can see this disease is particularly nasty and spreads very quickly. Currentyl the only cure is to kill yourself. I had too much time on my hands.

The difference for sony now compared to the betamax era is that amount of companies that back blu ray. I believe Blu ray will win, simply down to the fact that so many big comapanies support it. Toshiba and Microsoft are HD-DVD's biggest supporters. Blu Ray has Sony, Apple, Phililps, Panasonic, LG, JVC, Samsung, Hitachi, Pioneer, Sharpe etc.
