Is this post indicative of insider knowledge...? Cause if so... are we finally getting PokéPark 3?! (I was thinking it'd just be something boring like a "Pokémon Stars" or whatever.)
-
I love the Rumble games (still playing Rumble World to this day - literally, I was playing it just an hour or two ago), but this looks... pretty bad, at least from the alpha footage. I'm hoping for the best, but it's definitely not a game I think would work well with touch controls...

Loving this game, though I've been terribly busy the last few days and barely had a chance to play, so I'm only on my 5th Magikarp so far after conquering the Quick League with my darling Chelsea (a beautiful White/Orange Calico Magikarp). I'm also really happy it uses the Rumble World/Picross microtransaction model, so to show my support I bought all 5000 Diamonds/Tickets shortly after starting (before even letting my first Magikarp, Foppa, complete the Friend League) on Thursday, which let me buy all the Support Pokémon and most of the Decorations right away. It's actually only the second time I've ever spent money on a mobile game - the first being the fantastic Layton Brothers: Mystery Room - and it was of course quite expensive compared to the all the other games mentioned in this post (more expensive than the three combined, I'm pretty sure...), but I can tell that I'll be enjoying this game for a long time, so I'm quite sure I'll get my money's worth from it.

That Grand Hero Battle sure was a thing... Nino singlehandedly took out all four of the regular enemies, and buffed Jaffar up to let him beat Lloyd in one move. She really did her best this time. At least they finally don't have to fight each other anymore. Now when's the inevitable Linus GHB...?
-
Now that's a plan I can get behind.

I don't think it's a "change" per se, just a separate Octarian-themed logo for the single-player mode. I'm quite certain the main logo will stay the same. But yeah, that trailer was absolutely amazing. Easily the highlight of the Direct for me (though ARMS also looked fantastic, of course). I'm so excited!!

Nintendo confirms: No live conference at E3 this year
FireMeowth replied to Serebii's topic in Nintendo Gaming
TREEHOUSE CONFIRMED! Time to get hyped!! And cancel all my plans for those days probably. (Not that I was expecting otherwise, but... you never know with Nintendo.) -
So the next Voting Gauntlet is nearly upon us... I'm pretty sure that, even with the new catch-up mechanic, nobody will be able to beat Tharja, but seeing how the best and cutest of the mages isn't participating* I guess that's fine. I quite like Tharja anyways - mostly ♯FE Tharja, but Awakening Tharja is cool too - so I'll probably also be joining her team. (* I'm quite happy Nino isn't in the Gauntlet, really - so at least I don't have to be disappointed when she los- uh... I mean... Everybody knows she's the best, so she doesn't have to prove herself. Clearly. And she's always doing her best, too, so she deserves some time off to just cuddle with Jaffar.)

I mean, it's Arthur. He is basically a superhero, right? I'd say his artstyle fits him to a T. Eliwood and a few others are pretty bad, yeah, but I'd say the amazing far outweigh the bad. My favourites are probably Jaffar and Narcian, because their artwork perfectly captures their characters. And Nino and young Tiki, too, because they're just so gosh-darn adorable. (I might be a bit biased considering they're all among my favourite FE characters, though.) EDIT: Also, something strange has been going on with my game every day for... at least two weeks now. When I open the game in the morning, my Nino is always the one to give me the 5 daily feathers. Not that I'm complaining, of course - seeing Nino looking at Jaffar with hearts over her head is always a great start to my day...

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Wii U / Switch
FireMeowth replied to darkjak's topic in Nintendo Gaming
This patch makes me very happy that I've barely had time to start playing. -
Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga + Bowser's Minions

Nintendo making sure I'll have enough 3DS games to last me well into 2019. I like it. -
Well, Reggie seems to agree with me, at least. "Reggie on what separates 3DS and Switch, says price will influence purchasing decision"
-
The Switch is twice as expensive, so I'd say no. That's probably the biggest reason why they have to keep the 3DS alive, til they either find a way to make a waaay cheaper Switch model or make a proper 3DS successor.
-
Yeeaaaah, might not be able to resist that White+Orange... And I have all the other 3DS(+2DS) models, so might as well get this one to finish the collection.

Nintendo confirms: No live conference at E3 this year
FireMeowth replied to Serebii's topic in Nintendo Gaming
Awesome news. The live conferences are always the worst part of E3. (now just confirm the Treehouse livestreams pls) -
Just as I was thinking I'd pretty much be done with the game when I'd reach 10k Toads (and beat the final bonus level, of course)... I guess I have to aim for 50k at the very least now. You get Toad the same way you get any My Nintendo rewards - go to the Super Mario Run rewards on My Nintendo (or just use the in-game My Nintendo button in the top right corner of the Kingdom screen), press Toad and then Redeem.

Well, there's actually no Alola Pokémon in the main stages. They're focusing on the remaining Pokémon from previous generations, thankfully. We're still missing tons of them, too, thanks to all those lame repeat stages...

Lady Layton: The Millionaire Ariadone's Conspiracy (2017)
FireMeowth replied to Ike's topic in Nintendo Gaming
Interesting that they changed the title... I assume it means we could be getting more games set during the time when the Professor has disappeared, and possibly that not all of them will be focused on Katrielle? I'd love to see Alfendi and Lucy get another game! (I'm not holding my breath for that last bit though...) Early Autumn sounds good, too. I'm currently (re)playing all the Layton and Ace Attorney games, and should by my estimations probably be done with the last of them in late July or early August, so I won't have too long to wait for this game. -
Ah, yes. As someone with a near complete amiibo collection - all 550 amiibo cards included - I completely understand. I gladly welcome that sort of "doom" without regrets, though.
-
Afraid? I'm hoping they will - as long as they focus on the ones that aren't just recolours. Give me all the Koopalings, female Robin, male Wii Fit Trainer, Hoodie Little Mac etc.
-
Hey, I'm way more excited about getting a Kalos cap Pikachu than Marshadow. (don't really care about the other caps at all though lol)
-
The same games I want from every new Nintendo console, really: PokéPark 3, Pokémon Ranger 4, Another Code 3, and Klonoa 3. ...Yeah, I don't have much hope for any of them (especially the third... ), but I suppose we could be getting a new Klonoa game at some point, considering that they're making a movie... Oh, I'm also hoping Ni no Kuni II could get a Switch release. Grinding in JRPGs is so much nicer when you can do it on the go. <3

I got a much higher rank than expected in the first round. I guess that's what it's like when you're not on the most popular team. Would've had enough feathers to 5-Star my Nino even without the 5'000 from the twitter quiz. Now to train her back up to level 40... EDIT: The final round has started... and I joined Team Camilla for easy victory feathers ahahahaaa I'm so weak. ...Then again I'm not really a Minerva fan either so I don't feel too bad about it.
