The email with my Miiverse post history arrived a little while ago. It's... quite impressive, actually. Sadly though it didn't save any of the post comments - not even my own - and I can't check who Yeah'd my posts... but I do think I have one more Yeah on my final drawing than when I last checked it! Man, I miss Miiverse so much... and I'm gonna miss it even more when I start my Apollo Justice playthrough tomorrow... *sighs*

Yup, I'm also still extremely disappointed with the Switch menus, just as I was eight months ago... They really need to give us customization options ASAP. At least let us reorganize our software icons freely...

Waking up to a world without Miiverse sucked even more than I thought it would. At least I managed to complete all of my personal goals before the end. First off, I finally completed a several-weeks-long mission of unlocking the final outfit in Tokyo Mirage Sessions ♯FE, to show it off on Miiverse. Thankfully, it was well worth the time and effort, as it's very possibly the best outfit in the entire game! ...And finally, I wanted to make another drawing as my final Miiverse post. It's a bit more rushed than some of my previous drawings, but I'm still very proud of the result: I wonder if I got any more comments or Yeahs on those posts after I fell asleep... I stayed up most of the night just looking at other people's wonderful Miiverse posts, but wasn't awake for the final ~90 minutes, so maybe I got some in those very last moments? Maybe they'll be included in my post history when it arrives...?

I'm so glad I've been saving up all my orbs for the last... nearly three months now. That Nowi will be mine!! (Also extremely thankful that she's not a green hero... I've summoned enough greens for several lifetimes already...) EDIT: Witch Nowi GET! Only took me 50 orbs this time! I guess they decided to be nice to me after I spent over 500 to get Summer Elise, ahaha...

As usual, the best part of the update is Amelia's posts about the new features. Well, it seems like a fairly solid update, though there's nothing super exciting for me personally. When are we getting more Home Menu customization options?

And just like that, I was convinced to buy the Japanese Treasure Box edition. Tiki~ Hopefully they've still got Mela Lee for her English voice - her Young Tiki in Heroes is perfect! (...Also pls give us a TMS♯FE-Tiki costume... or seven.)

I mean, it's a pretty easy choice at least. Kalos-chu ftw!

1.7.0 is the best update ever. Supports!!! My lil' Tiki now has a cute pink frame and a beautiful profile background, and that's not even the best part - I can finally get Jaffar and Nino the S-Support I've longed for all these years! Now if only I could get Eirika and Ephraim so I can pair them up again too.

I guess this is as close as we'll get. (And speaking of the Squid Sisters, I beat the Hero Mode yesterday. Was pretty awesome, though I preferred the final boss battle in the first game.)

Miiverse was literally the best feature of any Nintendo console ever, and one of the many reasons why the Wii U is my all-time favourite console (and also a huge part of why I don't like the Switch lol)... I'm extremely sad to see it go, and so soon, too...

! Sadly no artbook or Dragonstone, but I'm definitely buying it anyways. (...and then maybe importing Japan's Treasure Box Edition on top of that. If I can find one that isn't horribly overpriced.)

Awesome trailer, and we even finally got the release date. Fantastic! ...Man, October is packed for me - this makes the fifth game I'm 100% certain I'll be buying that month, and then there's all the amiibo too... I'm assuming Chrom and Tiki will also be released on the 20th. Disappointed at the lack of a European Collector's Edition, though.

My free summons on the first three focuses were pretty lackluster (4-Star Laslow, 3-Star Robin and 3-Star Shanna) but the 5-Star Clair I got today more than made up for that! I guess she wanted to join her brother, who I got from the Tempest Trials yesterday. Not... quite the blue I was hoping for, to be honest, but I won't complain. Should make it easier to complete those flier quests, at least. Also yay for more Sacred Stones~ (now give us Myrrh in the next batch pls)

I was almost ready to give up my quest for Summer Elise when I summoned my FOURTH Summer Xander yesterday, but I'm glad I didn't... cause I FINALLY GOT HER!! And it only took me... 537 Orbs... ahahaaa... And she's +HP -Atk... ahahahhahaaaaaaaaaaaa... BUT I DON'T CARE I'M HAPPY NOW! Now to save up Orbs for the next special Hero... Give me a Halloween Nino pls, IntSys. ...just don't make her a green...

Orange puppy is alright. Still prefer the other two (especially Midday), though. I'm probably slightly biased, but as far as the Kalos League is concerned, I think Ash losing was so much better for the story and character development than him winning would've been (though I was rooting for Ash all the way up to halfway through the final battle lol).

I think my luck has run out... I'm nearly 400 orbs into the Nohrian Summer focus, and I still haven't got Elise... I mean, I did get seven other 5-Stars (3x Xander, 2x Sheena, Fae and Mathilda), and I'm always happy to get more Ninos - I think that's my sixth I got just now - but... I'm running out of orbs here. EDIT: That's all the 494 orbs I had saved up... Still no Elise, though I did add another 5-Star (Camilla) to the list. Hopefully the free orbs we're getting over the next month will be enough... (I'm desperately hoping there won't be any more green heroes I want for a long while after this - I'm pretty sure I have every regular green hero except Minerva and Sonya now!)

Further thoughts and impressions: - Marina and Pearl are all right, but their stage announcement banter is terribly lacking. I miss Callie and Marie talking about how delicious chips are... Speaking of which, why doesn't Crusty Sean sell chips at his Crust Bucket? - Forgot to mention it in the last post, but "Shella Fresh" is brilliant. Also, all the shop music is wonderful. - Aerosprays and N-ZAPs can be a little bit terrifying now that I don't have the Bubbler to counter them in close quarters combat lol. Especially because the new defensive special ability's biggest weakness is rapid-fire weapons haha Ink Armor is garbage. Also, split joy-con motion controls all the way for me.

I figured I'd make a list of my first impressions now that the weekend is over (just reached level 15). - Love the new amiibo. - The new music is delightfully fresh. Love all the new songs. - The new stages... are a bit hit and miss, but I imagine I'll get used to them. Definitely preferred the old version of Port Mackerel, though... - Splatting people isn't as satisfying as in the first game. Not sure why, might be something about the sound effects? - Not-Miiverse drawing sucks and I hate it a lot. - The actual shop order in the Galleria not being the same as the shop order when you switch between them with L/R is reeeaaally annoying. - Ink Armor desperately needs buffing. Two-second activation delay for a super weak shield is just awful. - The Inkjet is also lame because you return to the spot you started at when it ends. What's the point if you can't use it to sneak into normally inaccessible areas? - Handheld mode works perfectly, and feels even better than docked. (I might just be too used to having a screen in my controller though lol) - The new map is garbage, but that couldn't have been avoided given the nature of the Switch. Whoever decided to put the map on X are the worst, though. I keep opening it when I want to jump... - Replacing Nice! with "Booyah!" is also disgusting. - Next to no lag, and no connection issues whatsoever! A definite improvement over the first game. - ...But unfortunately, matchmaking is a lot slower than in the first game, so the lack of minigames while you wait is even worse than I had expected. - Extremely disappointed that the garbage exp system is there right from level 1 this time, but at least it's a bit more generous than in the first game. ...I think that's about all I have to say so far. I miss my Stealth Jump, so hopefully I can find some shoes with it soon. Haven't started Hero Mode yet, but I imagine I'll love it when I do. Salmon Run is lame.

At least that explains why Spark suddenly disappeared a couple of days ago - he must've seen this coming and gone on a vacation to avoid all the drama!

New trailer focusing on the Awakening part of the roster - with new character reveals, of course! (Japanese trailer here.) Now if only NoE could announce a limited edition with all the goodies Japan is getting... I really want that Dragonstone...

Well, the Voting Gauntlet ended just as everyone had predicted. At least we gave Elise a run for her money, though. And the Tempest is returning sooner than I had expected! Don't have any of the 40% Bonus Heroes this time either, but I do have a 5-Star Sharena, who will probably be way more useful than the 4-Star Alfonse I used last time. Just have to do a bit more grinding to get her to a decent level... Ephraim and Myrrh's C-Support! (Don't worry, Ephraim, I understand. Having a cute little dragon girl call me "onii-chan" was one of the best moments in my gaming history too, after all...)

The Ylissean Summer is here, and I was pretty lucky with my summoning this time as well - it only took me nine summons (43 orbs) to get Tiki, and I also got Hector on the fourth! Tiki's Axe Valor (and the new 2x SP weekends) will definitely come in handy now.

Voting Gauntlet time! Was almost wondering if they'd skip the gauntlet this month to let people recover from the Tempest Trials, but I guess not. I didn't really go for any of the higher rewards in the Tempest anyways (was happy just getting my "Marth", really), so it didn't drain me too much at least. Picking a team this time was pretty difficult, cause I do like all of the participants... ...but I ended up going with Priscilla! I've liked her ever since playing The Blazing Blade (or just Fire Emblem, I guess) back in the day, and she's the only healer I've trained in Heroes, too, after summoning her in the search for Jaffar. Oh, and there's an official website for the Voting Gauntlets, now, to keep track of the results. In other news, a certain long-awaited special focus is arriving very soon, so I hope you've all been saving up your orbs! Even I'll be spending some of my orbs. Gotta get that waifu, after all! (though I admit I was hoping for a different version... *coughs*)

I've also had a blast with the game. Never spent any money in the end, but I still managed to get nearly all the badges I wanted (and I'll keep playing it every day to see if I can get the remaining ones, of course). Got all my favourite Pokémon and other important characters keeping me company on the Home menu. And yeah, I'm definitely hoping to see a big Switch system update soon that adds Home menu customization along with the Theme Shop and Badge Arcade. And Miiverse...

That was an amazing first day. Super Mario Odyssey looks (and sounds - especially that song!!) absolutely brilliant, Fire Emblem Warriors seems like a definite must-buy, the Splatoon 2 tournament was tons of fun... I'm even interested in Mario + Rabbids now! And all the new amiibo... I need them... aaall of themmm... I almost can't believe I finally kinda got my wish of a waifu amiibo! (And no I don't mean Wedding Dress Peach.)
