We really do need CiNG back, don't we? The Wii U would be the best console ever if we could just get Another Code 3...
-
Norway is notoriously expensive when it comes to EVERYTHING, really, not just games. :P Luckily, the eShop usually has fairly equivalent prices to the rest of Europe, so it's waaaaay cheaper to buy digital unless you can find some crazy discounts on the physical versions.
-
Why not both? A small mini-game to tide us over while they work on the next game sounds like a nice treat.
-
I'm getting all the amiibo cards anyways, so I might as well get this game to use them with. Seems like it could be a lot of fun. (And it'll help scratch my Animal Crossing itch until the Wii U game hopefully arrives next year.)
-
This game went from "probably want" to "INSTA-BOUGHT" with the announcement of the Yarn Yoshi amiibo. THEY'RE SO ADORABLE! I NEED ALL OF THEM!
-
Loving the new Mii racing suits! And the Animal Crossing stage looks glorious! I'll probably never touch 200cc, though... I'm struggling enough with 150cc already!
-
I've done my part! Come on, guys - let's make this a reality!

So... am I the only one who likes this game, then? I'm having tons more fun with it than I did with Pokémon Link: Battle, at least. I've already failed three captures, but it has never seemed unfair, and the waiting seems perfectly fine, too - in fact it'll probably help me avoid unleashing my rage as I did so many times with the other game... It's nice to have some (forced) time to cool down. I guess I haven't made it too far into the game yet considering I haven't spent any money (or even Jewels) yet, but so far I've had tons of fun and I look forward to playing more in a couple of hours.

Actually, that lists #158 two times. Judging from the silhouette I assume it's Mewtwo, with a listing for each of his Mega Evolutions. So according to this screenshot, there's 158 unique Pokémon. It feels kinda strange to go back to such a small Pokémon count after Pokémon Link: Battle, but at least two of my three favourite Pokémon have already been confirmed... Fixed that for you.

I just got my 685th trophy (at the same time as my 684th and 683rd - thank you, Trophy Rush!), so I'm 100% done with the 3DS version now! Well, I'll still keep playing it with friends, but probably not much beyond that. Time to move on to the Wii U version!
-
I replayed both Galaxy games last year, but once I hit the Perfect Run, I had to give up... This post inspired (or at least reminded) me to finally go back and try again, and this time... I actually did it! Took more tries than I'm willing to confess, but for the first time in my life I actually completed Super Mario Galaxy 2 and earned my rightful title of Master of Galaxies! So... thank you! And I'll never do it again. Never ever ever ever again.
-
Hey guys! I know I'm a bit late to the party, but I'd like to join the 3DS 9.0 club as well... I didn't give up! I finally did it! ; ~ ; Now I just have to get the last ~60 trophies, and I'll be all done. And now I can finally get properly started on the Wii U version, too... (oh god the Wii U challenges are gonna be a billion times harder huh?)

Probably because it's pretty much a Nintendo game. It was born as a Nintendo exclusive, and not only is it filled with tons and tons of Nintendo references and characters, but the GamePad is also fairly integral to the gameplay, and Nintendo not only published it, but tons of Nintendo staff worked on it as well. I think it's pretty safe to say that it'll stay Nintendo exclusive forever. (You should totally play it for yourself, though. It's the best LEGO game by far.) EDIT: Beaten by Cube.
-
I was just thinking it had been far too long since the last LEGO games. Definitely buying the Wii U versions of both this and the Avengers game, day one! Now if only we could get LEGO City Undercover 2... or a new Bionicle game...
-
Twilight Princess is definitely one of the Nintendo games that could really use an HD update... I've been wanting to go back and replay it for years now, but it feels sooo dated... :/ (Also, that "Mike Dozier" guy is crazy.)

Just returned home after picking up all of the third wave amiibo! GAME's shipment hadn't arrived yet, and they didn't know when it would, but luckily I was early enough to get them all from GameStop. It was a bit more expensive, but I'd rather pay a tiny bit more than risk missing some of them, so that's fine. Now we just need a Mewtwo amiibo to give Rumble U-Mewtwo a buddy! (You don't have Shiny Eevee or Shiny Genesect, though?! get on my level bro )
-
Okay, but guys, I think you're all forgetting something here. Namely that this was the best thing to come from the Direct:
-
I picked up all of wave 2 from GAME earlier today! Haven't opened them yet because I'm busy making room on my shelves first, but as far as I can see, they all look perfect! Looking forward to finally unlocking the Captain Falcon and Luigi costumes in Mario Kart 8! (I'm ready for Luffygi, too, Bamco! Just give us Super Grand Battle! X already!!) The things I would do for an Anouki amiibo...
-
Not sure what's so surprising about this? I mean, the next wave is almost here, and they already said that some of the first wave figurines will be limited. This is how Skylanders (and probably Disney Infinity) waves work as well - some of the figurines from earlier waves are included in later wave shipments, but some others are only ever available in their initial wave, and will never be restocked.
-
I stopped by GAME today, and to my surprise they already had the Smash + amiibo bundle, so I've completed the first amiibo wave now! Having seen both in real life, I'd definitely agree. The detail on Mario - and most of the amiibos so far, really - is outstanding compared to most Disney Infinity and Skylanders figurines. Of course, in Donald's case it doesn't help that they ruined him with the terrible Infinity artstyle (though the figurine still looks a billion times better than his ingame model). Poor guy...
-
I think the reason they're packaged by character in Japan is because... well, that's how they were originally. They'll probably be available for purchase for us in the same way they were available through preorders. No need to worry (yet).
-
I just (well, okay, a little while ago) got home with Omega Ruby, Alpha Sapphire, Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and 11 amiibos (all of them except Mario, which I'm getting in the bundle next week)! They didn't have many amiibos left in the store - even though I was there extremely early! - but I still managed to get one of each! And they all look great, too! Even Link and the infamous Marth. No bent swords or lazy eyes here!
-
Or go forward in time and buy it from the eShop.
