The new Animal Crossing amiibo look great. It's a shame this third wave will most likely be the last (for now)... Most excited for the Wolf Link amiibo, though. I always wanted the big F4F statue, but it was... well, a little bit on the expensive side. Can confirm that the cards themselves are completely identical, but the packaging is slightly different as the Australian packs don't have text in multiple languages. I assume that probably doesn't matter much for most people, though.

Can't wait to finally have a cute Meowth to look at every time I use my 3DS. Hope we don't have to wait too long for that panel to be available.
-
Finallyyyyyyy!! Mainly hoping for more info on #FE. And surprises. I like surprises.
-
Got mine yesterday, too. Haven't had much time to play yet (only done 1-1 and 1-2), but I really like it so far. Of course, I've yet to hit the dreaded vehicle stages, so who knows... And yeah, the amiibo is definitely adorable.
-
Yeah, Scooby or Shaggy will unlock the Scooby-Doo world, but both of them are only available through the Team Pack, so that's your only option in that scenario.
-
Basically, yeah. You'll need a character from each franchise to access all the ingame content, though, as each character gives you access to the world hub based on their respective franchises. So if you want to see all the content the game has to offer, you'd need all six Level Packs, both of the wave 1 Team Packs (Jurassic World & Scooby-Doo) plus the Wicked Witch (The Wizard of Oz), a Ninjago and a Chima Fun pack.

Vote: Which was your favorite Nintendo console/handheld?
FireMeowth replied to Dcubed's topic in Nintendo Gaming
I think I'll have to go with the Wii U. Mostly for the reasons I wrote about in the "best Nintendo controller" thread a while ba- wait what, that was 17 months ago?! ...But yeah, in addition to what I wrote back then, the Wii U also has so many amazing games, many of which are my favourite games in their respective series (Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, New Super Mario Bros. U, Super Mario 3D World, Mario Kart 8, LEGO City Undercover, etc), and many more great games coming up, too. And with the backwards compatibility it can also play all of my favourite Wii games - which includes my favourite game of all time.* Also, I absolutely love the UI. I have on numerous occasions, on my way to start up a game, just stopped to appreciate the design of the menu. It's so clean and crisp and wonderful! (Yes, I know I'm weird.) It also introduced the always-amazing Miiverse, has the best console Internet Browser, and the Wii U eShop is the first digital store on a console I've enjoyed using. All in all, I just love turning on my Wii U, no matter what I play or do on it. It's just a joy to use! EDIT: * I still say it should count just a little bit. -
I've finally moved most of my stuff to my new apartment, which means I finally have shelf space to store all my amiibo! I just spent the last hour opening the last 20 amiibo I've bought but hadn't had the space to display, as well as organizing all the others, and it feels grrreat! So yeah... that's how I spent my Halloween evening. It'll be fun to finally use them in games as well, but that'll be for another day...

It took me well over 50 tries to beat Gnat Attack. When I finally did, I did so with 1 second remaining on the clock. So... yeah, this'll be hell. :P

Finally got my Animal Crossing amiibo card collector's album and it's GREAT!
-
Hopefully the amiibo support means we're getting wave 2 of the Super Mario Collection soon. I need Waluigi and classic Wario amiibos!
-
Fantastic! I was hoping we'd get Series 2 before 2016, but I wouldn't have thought we'd get it this early! Looking forward to ordering another booster box!

Project Zero: Maiden of Black Water (30th Oct)
FireMeowth replied to Hero-of-Time's topic in Nintendo Gaming
That Zero Suit is definitely absolutely making me want the game more. Wow! ...Though knowing how I've fared in previous games in the series, I'd probably be too scared to be able to play through it and unlock the costumes anyways, ahahahaaaa... -
I've been meaning to replay Twilight Princess, and it's definitely the Zelda game in most need of a remake at this point. I'd buy it for sure.
-
Found it on eBay, from an Australian seller. I think Australia must have somehow ended up with 99% of the amiibo cards in the world, as that's where all the complete booster box listings I saw were from. Kinda strange, but I'm not really complaining - it's probably cheaper for me this way.
-
I'm afraid my only spares are of 1-17 plus an 86, sorry.
-
I ordered a booster box (42 packs) of Animal Crossing amiibo cards, and they arrived today. So naturally I brought it along to the Pokémon League and opened it there to make everybody jealous (and it worked)! As for the contents of the box, it was a huge success and I got the complete set! Bring on Series 2, please!

Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE Encore (16th Jan)
FireMeowth replied to Hero-of-Time's topic in Nintendo Gaming
Oh god, this game just keeps getting better and better and better with every new reveal/trailer. Love the remixed Fire Emblem music, too. -
Picked up the Back to the Future Level Pack, Jurassic World Team Pack and Legolas Fun Pack today. Only missing the Scooby-Doo Team Pack, which can't be found anywhere... Apparently there were some issues with the shipment, so no stores in the country have them yet. Guess I'll have to be patient...
-
Looking at the receipt, I paid just below 3000 NOK. ...I was a bit afraid to check, but considering how insanely expensive everything is in Norway, that's still far below my expectations, heh...
-
So, anyone else bought tons of LEGO today? Here's my day 1 haul: Missing four packs - the Back to the Future Level Pack, both Team Packs (Jurassic World and Scooby-Doo) and the Legolas Fun Pack, but I'll trawl all the stores in the city tomorrow to find them.
-
Have you got Sunny Castform, Heat Rotom and both Darmanitan forms? I'm currently stuck waiting for Deerling and Sawsbuck. Should've remembered to get the Summer and Autumn forms back in June and July...
-
No Spike to finish the party? I thought he was everybody's favourite Mario character. *continues trying to figure out why on earth they decided to make Spike playable* ...Well, I'd still buy a Spike amiibo if they made one.

The Wind Waker content looks amazing. Sooo many annoying Miniblins! And even the Big Blins from Spirit Tracks! Also nice to hear confirmation about more new characters (as if there's not enough content to last me over 1000 hours already, haha). Hoping it's more than just Linkelle or Linkle or whatever they called her. Surely this is Groose's time to shine, right? ...Though if they're gonna stick with characters from the Toon style, I'd be perfectly fine with Vaati, Staven or Linebeck, too.
