  1. For some reason, I´m not actually that hyped for the events. Usually I can´t wait for new Nintendo shows and events but this time, I´m quite calm... Oh well, I think it´s a good thing. Too much hype has too often caused a big dissapoitment.
  2. That´s right. The event is from 2am to 8am on Thursday morning. oh and I bolded the UK times in my last post to clarify the confusion...

  4. It´s not late. The point of that news is to remind people that there will be a big Wii event this week and we shouldn´t miss that out.
  5. You can figure that out just by looking the site design...
  6. New York event is 10am-4pm local time and London one is 12pm-6pm local time (which is obviously GMT). Those times are from Nintendo´s invitation tickets. No information avaible about the Japanese event.
  7. This is pretty interesting tidbit: "Takeda: Wii is the first machine that Nintendo can update its OS(Operating System). So, possiblity of Wii can be enlarged in the future. You can look forward to this feature, and I am very excited about it too."
  8. I´m not saying that GT looks good or anything but WW looks horrible in screenshots. In motion it´s the most beautiful game ever, though...
  9. It´s really amazing how much better Nintendo´s designers have gotten in few years. Just compare GC or original DS to DSLite or Wii.
  10. Well, Nintendo and Square-Enix have been pretty good buddies lately...
  11. I agree. Nintendo has 3 press events planned next week where they will propably announce all the launch details of Wii in each territory. If they have decided a 2006 release for Wii in Europe, Sony´s announcement won´t change that. It´s kind of late to do that now. Well, we´ll see next week.
  12. Imo, it´s wrong to look in to the past about this simply because Yamauchi´s Nintendo and Iwata´s Nintendo are so different. Iwata has planned a strategy where new games and new ideas play a key role so why to stop that if Wii will be a success? I think Iwata has realized that Nintendo needs to be always step ahead of its competitiors or otherwise Nintendo does nothing but help them.
  13. Hopefully this one is developed by Alpha Dream. Some of those screens remind a little bit of Mario & Luigi so it could be possible...
  14. August in Japan and September in North America, if I´m not mistaken. Propably 2009 in Europe...
  15. “Kids love us. We look like their toys.” - Mr.Lordi
  16. I don´t think that´s necessary... It´s pretty complicated to do and I´m pretty sure many people just doesn´t care so much about the Eurovision that they´d use Skype to vote they´re own country. And the grande finale is tonight, right? Can´t wait to see how Lordi will perform! Too bad Iceland didn´t got through...
  17. Can´t see a single reason for that... But yeah, USA today might leak something like they did last year (Revolution) and year before that (DS).
  18. It´s on the main page of NOA and NOE´s official sites so I´m pretty sure it wasn´t a leak...
  19. I don´t like the name, but I´m pretty sure it´ll grow on me. I can see Nintendo is trying to create a simple and effective nime like i-Pod. Revolution could have been pretty hard name to pronounce in Japan but on the other hand, Wii can be a little problem in western countries. Wise move to reveal the name now so we won´t be so shocked at E3 conference. Video is really cool, though...
  20. The best news is that EA actually has team that makes only Revolution games. It doesn´t quarantee awesome games (like Team Fusion has shown) but it´s good to see EA is somewhat serious about Revolution. I don´t really care about their games but every possible support is good for Ninty´s shiny little machine.
  21. Looks like there was some kind of Nintendo DS event with nice surprises today but, you know... the NDAs. http://blogoftheday.1up.com/do/my1Up?publicUserId=5379721 Also, some nice words from Game Informer Editor (not sure if posted):
  22. On the boards of a Finnish gaming magazine called Pelaaja, one staff memeber said that he has already demoed Revolution and that Super Monkey Ball Revolution is far in development and propably playable at E3. This isn´t an official confirmation or anything but the magazine has always been really credible and staff memebers have a lot of connections in gaming world (for example, in the next issue they will have New Super Mario Bros hands-on preview with Shigeru Miyamoto). I quess we have to wait and see if he tells the truth...
  23. Some new tasty FF3 screens from Shonen Jump: http://img133.imagevenue.com/img.php?loc=loc177ℑ=41146_FF3_Jump0413.jpg
  24. It´s wrong to blame Famitsu because it was readers´ top 50, not Famitsu´s staff. They listed what readers wanted. (PS. FFX was no. 1)
  25. Well, Mother 3 has been in that list for like 10 years so I´m really not that suprised... Good to see Gyakuten Saiban 4 there, though. Can´t wait for it. Hopefully Ace Attorney performs well enough in Europe because it really deserves all the attention.
