  1. A Pokémon Direct has been announced for tomorrow. This Pokémon Direct is due to air worldwide at 4am PDT/7am EDT/12pm BST/1pm CET. We do not currently know the contents of this Pokémon Direct but we'll have everything live tomorrow I'll add links when we have them Japanese Link: http://www.nintendo.co.jp/nintendo_direct/20130904/index.html
  2. Got this game yesterday, just finished it. Loved it...the nostalgia is brilliant and I seemingly remembered naturally where things were (considering I last played the game 20 years ago, that's not bad). Was hoping they'd have added some new levels but it's still great fun and looks beautiful. Had a few issues with the ropes/chains in it, which were a pain in the final stage, but other than that, it was great
  3. Fluke? No. Risk that paid off? Absolutely.
  4. I'm not so sure it would. In fact, I'm pretty certain that even if Nintendo did everything "right", third parties would still not bother. In addition to that, Nintendo did actually go to third parties for feedback, suggestions etc. That's how come the Pro Controler got made, and how come the whole concept leaked before E3 2011
  5. Miiverse isn't usually updated by the time the site does
  6. Todays picture
  7. The Vita Remote Play is more of a hardware thing, not something controlled via the software, though. It's built into the OS Also, it's not all games. Ones which use the camera are not capable of it
  8. It would be if retail didn't sell it at RRP, or slightly below
  9. Well Nintendo are sorting it, pushing their own games back down to £39.99 rather than £49.99, but other games are ridiculous. Splinter Cell is £54.99. PS4/Xbone are going to be even worse
  10. Not sure the source but apparently, between the four (Wii U, 360, PS3 and PC) it was separated as 45%/30%/24%/1% respectively Pikmin 3 is at #39 and Wonderful 101 is at #40 in the all format full price chart
  11. Wii U Rayman Legends outsold the 360 and PS3 versions in the UK last week on its debut
  12. Breath of Fire II this week
  13. Todays picture
  14. No, but they have put plans in to attempt to rectify it. But still, I'm sure they'd also rather keep experimenting as opposed to just becoming a "me too"
  15. All I'm saying is let Nintendo be different. If you want to have consoles that are practically the same, just different UI and pricing, then go with Xbox One or PS4. Let Nintendo do what they want. Sometimes they'll strike a hit, others like this it's hard for them to convey so it'll flounder a little
  16. You're right. If Nintendo push out a powerful console with just their games, it'll sell more than anything *looks at Gamecube* Oh....
  17. They also are never listed as new
  18. Absolutely not. That'd be severely damaging to the entire console. The Wii U GamePad is something that seems weird to people from the outside, but once they get their hands on it, the vast majority suddenly get it. Even in its most mundane use of a map and inventory, it streamlines gaming. I struggle to go back from it, to be honest with you. Returned to Assassin's Creed 3 on 360, and it just felt so cumbersome to hold down a button to bring up inventory, and to press a button and then wait a few seconds just to look at the map. It would also fracture the market which would result in developers not bothering, which is very sad. I still question why people want three consoles that essentially do the same thing. Let Nintendo be the wild card. Will it always work out? No, but I'd rather that than they become a "me too" company, just going "More Power" as if they're Tim Allen. Off TV Play is also revolutionary. Sure, for a lot of people it's not, but once you start having a family, living with a companion etc., it helps. They want to watch TV, you want to game, job done...do both.
  19. Just finished the game. Absolutely fantastic. The final operation was just thrilling, despite being massively long. Fantastic game
  20. Because that'd be a terrible idea :p
  21. As cool as this is, I can see Capcom stepping in and shutting it down. It is WAY too similar to Mega Man in terms of character design, moves, play, even character body language
  22. Of course they won't. They never do
  23. I wouldn't say it's Nintendo being greedy. It's the retailers being greedy. They know people will buy it for that cost.
  24. Dialga is running now until September 12th Palkia runs from September 13th to September 26th Giratina runs from September 27th to October 12th
  25. £55 is the current common price of a new game, typically £50 if not
