Fused King

So I also got this game for free because of a friend, and I got to say hot-diggity damn! So I start playing this stuff. I think to myself: 'Okey, okey, It's Mario Galaxy-ish here and there, New Super Mario Bros.-ish here and there and Super Mario 3D World (obviously, although haven't played that yet) here and there as well.' Running around, jumping on enemies again....o look Tanuki Suit, ...nice, I guess. Ah, Fire Flower still in here, good ol' Mario doing his thing I guess. Hmmm, a bit difficult these controls, have to get used to running and jumping and making good use of the 3D and looking at my shadow. Yup, ....it's a Mario game alright. ...sigh... Oh, oh this is kind o' fun. Getting the hang of this now, such a great acrobatic mustache man I'm controlling now. Look at him, Hear him having fun WOOHOO! YA-HOO!!! Damn, starts to get difficult, time to get serious. GOT IT! Oh only in world 4 now. So much fun now though. Smile on my face! SMILE ON MY FACE! HAPPY TIMES! HAVING A BLAST! GOD DAMNIT MARIO, YOU DID IT AGAIN! SO TIGHT, THIS GAME! SO FUN TO CONTROL AND JUMP AROUND! GOD DAMNIT MARIO, GOD DAMNIT! So yeah, I went in reluctantly thinking this is just another Mario game, but now I just can't stop smiling whilst playing this and I'm looking forward to what's to come. NINTENDO has nailed the way in which you control Mario and his moves, so all they can do now is give him even crazier environments to interact with I guess. Or let us play as Bowser for a change. Or have us play as Wart on a quest for power.

Interestingly enough, this picture might symbolically encompass all that is currently wrong with NINTENDO. Looking at your last two consoles with an old filter. or something like that... --- Also, I believe NINTENDO will ride out this storm untill most of their big franchises are out of the gate for the WiiU thinking that 'one game can change it all.' I tend to think that either Smash Bros., Mario Kart or both will be the games that a good handful of gamers will get the WiiU for as a 2nd console. If these two games don't boost sales significantly or have any legs then the WiiU might be doomed into doing low, but respectable numbers, I hope. Unless of course they come out with some kind of Pokémon NFC/other Brilliant NFC game.

So, ...it has come to this. This point in history where we consider this an actual game that could be used to flesh out the WiiU line-up.

The Game Pad could also do wonders for the survival horror genre. I haven't played ZombiU yet, but I heard good things. What I imagine is that you could use it to look around and when you have it on your lap you can see your feet walking but the suddenly you see two white feet standing in front of you. You lift up the game pad and BAM:

9-Volt could have his moves inspired by a lot of NES/SNES classics. Jimmy. T could also be quite unique with sick dance moves, but I had a little bit of hope that Ashley might make the cut since Female characters seem to be all the rage. Mind you, probably every single character of the Wario Ware series could have a pretty unique moveset.

I hear ya, but I like to challenge myself now and then, especially since some of the games these days are not that difficult. But still, perma-death is a bitch, but it makes for far better mind work.

FUCK! Fuck this game is hard as fuckin' fuck! Up to mission 9 now, and I could've made it if it wasn't for me not having put Chrom in the vicinity of Tharja to be able to talk to her so I could recruit that sweet depressing booty. This resulted in somewhat of a clusterfuck as reinforcements were sandwiching my troops. But now I know, now I know how to station my units when they come. The hardest part is getting to Tharja though, as she moves with a good handful of units which means that I have to talk to her AND exterminate most of her entourage or else they will focus on one of my units and make him suffer. That's really the toughest thing about this game. You know that, when the AI sees a weak spot, it goes for that weak spot with all its might. That's why you have to carefully place your units and sometimes do a lot of calculating in relation to the DEF/RES <> ATT. It's so brutal and difficult, but I love it to death! not after having tried the same map twice, though. Then I need a short break.

And does it actually work that way in the states? If this is what NINTENDOTVii is all about, I don't care whatsoever that it's not coming over here. I thought it would have things game-related on it, like the Pikmin mini-series, and developers speaking about their games and whatnot. Actual insider info on what it looks like to be working for NINTENDO, 'A Day in the Shoes of Hideki Konno/Sakurai/Sakamoto/Aonuma, etc..' or 'A Look at Retro Studios/Platinum Games etc...'. Sort of like a more visual Iwata Asks.

Those Download Codes work on any Pal WiiU right? If so, could I PLEASE GET SOMEONE TO BUY ME PIKMIN 3? Also, is this waterproof as in they won't back track and say that you have to pay more? Edit: O, apparently people are saying WiiU Codes only work on UK WiiUs... Welp, seems like that's over..... Congratulations to those who were able to get these awesome games!

KIKWI Damn that Elder is an awesome scrotum. They're not moles, they just hide under their hairy plant-like backs, which, in the Elder's case, looks like a giant blob in the landscape with a little bush on top

NINTENDO finding that balance between grey/brown and colourful awesomeness. A very well thought out metaphor presented to us in the game. 'The past was bright and colourful, the present not so much.'

I went back on what was one of the lowpoints for me in this game and it's even worse than I'd remembered. *Non-memorable tunes, and the fact that these tunes are at the core of the Three Goddesses makes it even worse! *Looking at it now, it honestly looks as if the game is glitching out somewhat. Look at how Fi is singing and how Link is playing that harp!...looks like a glitchy mess is what it looks like.

I actually have my cradle stationed ON my WiiU with the Pad in it. They look adorable together.

Officially back in this game. Put off playing it in favour of Oracle of Ages and Eternal Darkness, but now I'm back and ready to level up and watch my characters grow into beautiful pacifists Heading for the 3rd Side Story mission.
