God how I still adore your avatar and signature everytime I see it

Let's not forget this drawing. Pretty sure the characters we can see here will be included. As for why I didn't include Lucas. I'd say his inclusion can be questioned because he is so similar to Ness and has only been in Brawl. The odds of him getting a revamped moveset are high though. Still, I was just having a bit of fun, because, in all honesty, I can see every fighter from Brawl being included, even Snake, because there are as many reasons in favour of cutting characters as there are reasons for including them. The fact that we can even discuss cuts is because of Melee and Brawl in relation to eachother. Now it is as if cuts are a certainty, but as far as we know Sakurai might feel like pushing his limits with the team and working extra hard to get all the veterans in at least. Anyway, my main in Brawl was Kirby and in Melee was Captain Falcon, but I loved playing with almost every character The characters I have always had trouble with are Peach, Yoshi, Sonic, and Marth, because of various reasons, but I still pick them regardless. It's such a incredibly awesome series and I chose Super Smash Bros. Brawl as my favourite game of all-time just because I love to see SO MANY CHARACTERS I've come to love come together, even introducing new ones along the way which gets me into contact with other franchises.

#02 - N-Europe: Let's Talk Games (Super Mario Sunshine)
Fused King replied to Fused King's topic in Nintendo Gaming
Oh man, I want this game badly now -
Of course, having the option to switch items on or off for the benefit of themed league nights is not an option

Considering NINTENDO, they are probably not aware of this. When the good people of the Mario Kart team play with eachother or with their families there are smiles all around Uhm, newsflash, Mario Kart 7's Blue Shell returned to this style.

This will be the central hub for the NE:LTG series. Time to get sticky! I will post the names of the games we discussed and their respective threads. This comes in handy when you'd like to talk about one of the games from the series but forgot about it. #01 - The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword http://www.n-europe.com/forum/showthread.php?t=54086 #02 - Super Mario Sunshine http://www.n-europe.com/forum/showthread.php?t=54119 #03 - Chrono Trigger http://www.n-europe.com/forum/showthread.php?t=54141 #04 - Pokémon Ruby & Sapphire http://www.n-europe.com/forum/showthread.php?t=54171 #05 - Castlevania: Symphony of the Night http://www.n-europe.com/forum/showthread.php?t=54219 #06 - Resident Evil 4 http://www.n-europe.com/forum/showthread.php?t=54256 #07 - Metroid: Other M http://www.n-europe.com/forum/showthread.php?t=54281 #08 - Red Steel http://www.n-europe.com/forum/showthread.php?t=54299 #09 - Super Mario Land: 6 Golden Coins http://www.n-europe.com/forum/showthread.php?t=54314 #10 - Wii Sports http://www.n-europe.com/forum/showthread.php?t=54345 #11 - Advance Wars http://www.n-europe.com/forum/showthread.php?t=54404 #12 - Rhythm Paradise DS http://www.n-europe.com/forum/showthread.php?t=54440 #13 - Super Smash Bros. Average Score 96.4 -
Several words, actually. Something along the lines of 'Damn, that's a really good weapon and game mechanic and I hope they keep it in.'

No. No you won't be. And you'll be saying the same in a few years time as well.

Well, this thread drowned quickly. DAT investor meeting news! Anyway, my thoughts: Fond memories, veeeeeeeeery fond memories! I played this for the very first time on the DS lite after having heard so many good things about it and because I had a craving for a good, long, JRPG. It did not dissapoint. From a music standpoint alone this game has provided me with countless hours of looking up remixes of its tracks, downloading the original tracks and even buying the official remix CD entitled 'The Brink of Time' presented to us by Yasunori Mitsuda. For that I am very grateful. Through this game I also rediscovered that I really am a big fan of time-travel games, especially when it spans multiple times such as in The Day of the Tentacle and not just one á la Ocarina of Time. Really great to see all the different ways you could impact the different times with certain (side)quests and the like. I also immensly enjoyed the multiple twists and the fact that every time had its own dilemma and interesting characters. The brilliancy of having you partner up with characters from all these time periods was another treat Favourite character has to be Frog. His story was quite interesting if I recall correctly. I also remember it being quite hard at certain points (maybe because I played it on hard of that's at all possible) and I got stuck on more than 1 occasion. Certain boss battles do spring to mind, but can't quite visually recall them. Presentation/atmosphere wise it is absolutely perfect in a lot of ways. 95/100, A Timeless Time Traveler ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- I have to cut it short unfortunately, but I will update this post with the average scores and memorable quotes later on. The next thread will be in the General Gaming Boards -
Nintendo being more open with their ip - Ideas

Well, I'll be damned. Throw some NFC in there and you have two powerhouses, Lego & NINTENDO, making their grand debut in between Disney Infinity and Skylanders. -
NINTENDO should partner up with Vanillaware and Konami to create either a Metroid, a Castlevania or a Ganbare Goemon in this style! Or maybe use this style to revive Nazo no Murasama Jo and get him back!
-
Hmm, perhaps, but I can't see how you can't decide which Pokémon you'd like to fight with withint 30 sec. I take it you're talking about online, because offline I don't see how this could be an issue.
-
I'm calling it now, there'll be a total of 6 Pokémon you can choose from when it comes to the Pokémon Trainer, but you can only take 3 into battle.
-
Leave it to NINTENDO to show one or two more levels of DKCTF, talk about Cranky's Fur, mention it's HD again and reveal something new about the game: The U Pad in the final version will actually show the names of the enemies you stomp on. Oh, and it is available for purchase on the 21st of February, the 21st of February, the 21st of February. Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze will be available for purchase on the 21st of February. Check your local gamestore and ask for that game with the monkeys in HD graphics.

Well, NINTENDO added a lot of challenges to Mario Kart Wii, so maybe we'll see something along those lines. IT'S HAPPENING! I'm in!
-
If they'd added proper online to Advance Wars I'd shit my pants, but I'd rather take a new installment. I might buy some titles, but most titles that I want I will most likely import and play in Japanese to help with my studies. Ah, the good ol' region-free days

The problem is is that people think too much inside the box when it comes to characters getting cut, stages, etc... The thing is that we don't know what Sakurai is thinking regarding the new Smash and he might just rewrite some of the rules for Smash as well.

Right, Here's the kicker, The First DS game available for Download is

You will need the time in between Donkey Kong and Mario Kart to mentally prepare for the N-Europe League! Since you're in France, I'd advice locking yourself up in a monastery and living in silence for the coming months.

Nintendo Investors Meeting ( now in english )
Fused King replied to Hero-of-Time's topic in Nintendo Gaming
To me, Iwata's words sound like they usher in a big change for NINTENDO. More and more, we will have to come to terms with the fact that NINTENDO, under Iwata, wants to be more than purely a hardware+videogame company. They want to really reach out and touch people's hearts in all sorts of aspects of life and, to quote Cammie, 'putting more smiles on people's faces' isn't strictly reserved to videogames. NINTENDO is still a worthy addition to the videogame industry though, and anyone who thinks otherwise just has other preferences when it comes to gaming in their life. -
Link's arrows are definitely much faster than the arrows of Pit. Go pop in Brawl again and see for yourself, a fully 'charged' shot from Link's bow is king.
