  1. Thats pretty unfair Mr Do-ronron.
  2. Never saw him surfin like that chez nous laddo. Did you get: "Is anyone here from Antrim?" *Big cheer from 80% of the crowd* (Even me, Im close enough for government work.) *Well this songs for you." And they proceded to play the best live Starlight they've ever managed to date.
  3. fanster, I broke no ones sword, just parried and dodged like a mad-dawg. The most difficult thing about the one before the end was getting cover for the onslaught of bullets that came as soon as Id slain that scum. Actually, I spared him - spared em all so far. Respects Get!
  4. Speaking of getting high scores: in the disco ones are you meant to time it so that you zap them with a yellow beam for more points? I mean, the preloaded high scores can be like over 2,000. Im not even sure how to time it so that its yellow every single time.
  5. Played another mission there after dinner. The one at the air field, where you begin after stowing away in the back of a lorry. Flip but it was the most difficult one so far, I was glad of the checkpoints anyway, I tell ye that. Id good fun with the sniper rifle and Id two of the most difficult sword fights yet, the first times that I died from one, eek. There were nice hazy effects throughout the level two and I even promoted myself up from the lowest sensitivity level and back to medium. Im off to Japan now to chase Miyu, my love, a bit further. The things you do for an easy life, eh.
  6. Ah, Domerstool joins the fray at last! I played the last few days of this earlier. When Bunnies have no Rythm Part II came up, I was dreading it from what Ive read here. I did it on my second go though! The only hiccup first time around was that your big galoot was running about and kept ploughing into me. I Splinter Celled my way around those booty-boxes on my second go and was victorious. I hadnt even realised Id finished it either, I quitted back to the main menu before powering it off, thinking Id left the last ten percent or that for another day... but my file read 100%! So, naturally, I was straight back in and checked the door to my cell - couldnt exit, then went to check my objective... and watched the ending and credits roll. I have a question to anyone who has completed it, what just was the ending about? Twas a great game that Ill be dipping back into to get all the bonuses unlocked - Ive only three so far!
  7. Flog the poor dead horse, and the majority of smilies... for the loss. Man, who needs em anyway. I never go near any of em. I love coming to N-E for a good old moan these days
  8. Map of the Problematique's good. Hey, its Muse so it cant be wick! The thing is though, like pretty much every song on Blackholes and Revelations, it lacks a good old fashioned Muse-style riproaring guitar solo in the middle! Know what I mean?
  9. Thanks Marcel, just watched it - though it wasnt a smooth ride. The games looking good, Im looking forward to reading more about it leading up to its release. Controversial!
  10. See what ya mean, brother. I doubt lastfm are just experiencing some technical difficulties at the minute? The sooner that McFly stuff gets pushed off the bottom of your list the better
  11. Twilight, Im fairly certain its no conspiracy against us 26thers. My wee lastfm blurb to the left seems to be up to date. Whats up with yours? Listen to a different song and see if it gets onto it
  12. Also, if you get the opportunity, be sure to give Skies o' Symphonia a look. Its highly regarded
  13. You're right about Assassin, harribo. For me it builds up to Invincible and it and then kinda tails off again to the finish and leaves you wanting more of that midpoint quality. Theres a severe lack of classical style Butterflies and Hurricanes style songs on the newest album. But I still wont fault Muse for broadening their horizons and Ill be buying the next album on day one... possibly the next album Ill buy
  14. Sarka my dear boy, what are you thinking? Well, if you like Franz Ferdinand that explains alot You like the cheesy Muse stuff do ya? Well Ill tell you one thing, know how Knights o' Cydonia grew on me after seeing em in November? Well the same thing happened with Exo-Politics. Soldiers Poems really good, and was all the better when they performed it on piano. Citizen Erased though, show it some love and restore some of our confidence in you!
  15. It was outstanding on the N64 but you're right about Avalanche being a letdown. Though its still good once you forget about SSX3 and all it offers. Ten Eighty's trick system is better though in my opinion. SSX stunts are mental, but theres not the same skill in pulling them off. Isnt it SSX On Tour? Anyway, I found it difficult to get into and Ive still not broke even into the top 100 in it. Its good though but as viable as your eight points against are, theres one that really put me off: the general skater style of the game. I thought that Id like the cool menu's and cardboardness of everything, but really, its too much. All slanted writing everywhere, eek. SSX 3 was a great game, I cant mind who said it, but they should bring back EA Radio Big in SSX Blur. I could care less about the music though, its just generic Kerrang stuff.
  16. Very good call with Space Dementia. I heard that it was gonna be getting a sequel of sorts on Blackholes and Revelations but I cant seem to find it. Its most disappointing that Space Dementia seems to have slipped off their setlist these days. Im not sure if Id put Newborn so far up, though its vintage Muse. Muscle Museum and Showbiz are two classics that would probably make up the top five.
  17. I was chuffed enough to see this thread back but... after clicking and watching that little snippet... yum! This looks extremely chouette. Ma pauvre Collette, what a great game that was and is. I think Im one of the few though that have just completed it once. Keep us up to date with developments, Tales o' Symphonia loves on!
  18. Right then, lets be having it sonny. Its hard to make a top three actually, but the top two are for definite.
  19. Although Twilight Princess is setting itself up to dislodge DKC III as my fave game ever, seeing as Ive only had limited time with it so far and havent completed it like last year... my votes gonna go to Animal Crossing: Wild World. That pretty much single handedly kept me gaming until the Wii came out. : peace: Actually, if you wanna get technical over this, I didnt complete Animal Crossing last year either but Ive played it enough warrant it getting my vote. Metroid Hunters promised to be such a decent game from the Demo, but failed rather spectacularly to deliver.
  20. Ok chillun, just for the sake of clearing this little petty disagreement up: I LOVE Muse more than the both of you added together and multiplied by infinity...! The Meat is quality too, I was listening to his latest album - Bat Outta Hell Vol 3 a while ago, did ya not see it on me lastfm thingy? Also if you like the Meat, you should check out some of Jim Steinmans material. One other thing, Invincible has been my favourite song of the album since my second or third listen through when I managed to start getting a feel for it. My Top Three Muse Songs: 1: Citizen Erased 2: Stockholm Syndrome 3: Invincible You cant argue with that!
  21. Thanks for that old Ninja. Ive not played this in a couple of days now but after a quick skim of the last few pages Im kinda glad to see that, maybe, the good points of the game are gonna get focused on for atleast a few posts. I still think it rocks, but Ive not been rushing to much with it. I would say that its disappointing that it appears that you cant talk to every single person in Castle Town. Strange one, but I can cope.
  22. Nice spot on the Queen parallels. I woulda said it but feared being slated incase some of you hated the idea of the lowly Muse being compared to such world beaters as Queen. Dont you think the guitar in Take a Bow has the same Queen-esque quality about it? Well it does. :p "Take a booh, son. Take a booh." says Andy Grey on the matter. Bob, I dunno what youre on laddo but Citizen Erased remains my favourite Muse song. Knights isnt quite that good... though have you seen the video? Its extremely good, find and watch it if you havent already.
  23. Just figured out what IMO means!! Next up: TBH... keep using it guys, one of these days itll click with me, too.
  24. I caught a bunny or two yesterday, but I couldnt keep it long as there was lots of oncoming Rabbids that needed a plunger in the face. Ive over 80% done now and Im an absolute hero. Like I said, around the midway mark, the spectators are bored and fed up, but now with my contined success they love me. Its really cool to be in there and see the "We Love You Ray" and whatnot around the place. And the fireworks going off over head. If only I could take a bow for them! Last I did was Bunnies Like to Recycle Scenery From Other Games... did it seem recycled? I wasnt so sure. If it was, I mean, sure I'd been through a few Wild Wild West themed levels already... so Im not sure what they were getting at. Once I get the Story completed Ill be spending my free time in Score Mode trying to unlock the bonuses through that. Ive two so far, but Ive only been in Score Mode about three times so far. (P.S. More people need to by this game, this thread keeps slipping off the first page here. Its still too early for that to happen!)
  25. Incredible thread! How'd it get to a third page before my input? Did no one miss me?! Muse are without a doubt my favourite music makers out there. From the humble beginnings of Sunburn right through to the Western/ Sci-fi/ Dark Tower/ epic/ of Knights of Cydonia theres rarely a moment that lets you down. The thing is though, Im listening to them less and less these days, but I find I rarely listen to any music at the mo. The newest albums just full of the different direction that I love Muse for, but I even found it hard to get into. Knights o' Cydonia, I thought was rather... wick. I thought it was too cheesy and that it did lots of the wrong things... this was largely due to me following the progress of the new album before it came out and becoming accustomed to this song being dubbed Citizen Erased II... so naturally I was hugely let down. However, when I saw them live at the start of November and they closed with it, I was a changed man. Simply sublime. It didnt seem cheesy at all and I didnt want it to end when it got to the total rock out stage at the very end. I have to say one other thing though: I think Stockholm Syndrome was a great closing tune as well, honestly. I found it weird hearing it in the middle of their performance in the Odyssey, plonking it in there made it more forgettable if you know what I mean...?
