For me, the interesting thing there is the nerfage of scorpians because I am still yet to see, catch and museum one. Curiously (again, for me), since the day of the update I've been seeing giant waterbugs every evening without fail and never saw them once before.

I've been fishing like mad all weekend to raise some bells and I went all in with the turnips! I'll be putting the money towards moving a bunch of houses and buildings (...again and again and again...). Not looking forward to it!

@Helmsly I would like to send you some fossils but while it looks like we are Switch friends, I don't see you/ Parakeet on the Animal Crossing list. Strange that it hasn't happened already, but maybe we need to have crossed paths in-game to forge that link? Let's work something out! Thanks as ever to @Sheikah and @Mr-Paul for sending me a couple more fossils. I am at the stage now where the ones I dig up are odds on to be duplicates so it is a big help!

Speaking of alternative income streams, what is up with lowering the already paltry Bank of Nook interest rate!? If you like bug hunting so much... I have a timer that can be set to count the number of bugs and fish caught over a selected timeframe, like the fishing tournament. I'll come over and start the timer, sit on a bench with Bluebear, and you can run around and catch bugs til your heart's content!

I just found Redd and can't afford to buy from him because I am back to square one in some regards, as last night I sold even the tools in my pockets to raise last minute money to fund moving the shop and pay off an incline. Of course today would be the day Nook's Cranny has an item in stock that costs almost a quarter of a million. (a kimono stand) And I think I'd like to move a bunch of houses two squares to the right. We all know what a massive time and money commitment this will be if decide to go through with it...!!

Uh oh... I spoke to him again and he wanted to talk directly to Resident's Services about moving in, and because he offered to replace a green bird @Sheikah dumped on my island (Admiral), I agreed. I am looking forward to seeing if Admiral pops up on someone else's island now.

I have my second campsite visitor (yes second, what an investment it has been...) today. Some weirdo called Beardo. I have played a 50/50 guessing game with him three times and lost every time, having opted for the same choice each time. This game cheats more than the rock, paper, scissors bosses in Alex the Kidd!

I ask because they are currently unboxing their belongings in my town and the first thing they mentioned is Treno, your gaf. (Thanks for sending me even more fossils!) Also, it has been dark and raining 100% of my playtime yesterday and today. Weird but I kind of like it!
