Just did the two tutorial missions and I'm not feeling it either. The starting tutorial forest area was nice (so was the soft singing on the title screen), then on the second tutorial I almost died to the Wyvern as I hadn't a clue what to do to make it rideable! The wirebug manoeuvre didn't seem to do anything of benefit and all I could see was the Let Me Ride It! option on the menu wheel but I couldn't make it selectable, and I was almost dead by the time I found the spiders I'd collected in the menu on the bottom right. Then the Wyvern riding part was really clunky anyway so not really worth the bother. Don't really fancy trying the "proper" hunts. I would like to get into MH but I every time I try it, it just isn't for me. How many hours/ missions do you need to put in before it all clicks??

That was some of the most intense Tetris I've ever played. I'll be using that theme again in future.

You can get a maximum of eight things from the rocks per day if you can hit them quick enough. Try digging some holes behind you to reduce/eliminate knockback to help you get eight things before time runs out. Don't forget you can use your Nookmile Tickets to fly to random islands where you will find rocks too. And like @BowserBasher said, don't worry about rushing it! Enjoy the campsite portion of the game.

Yeah, I was sort of getting the hang of it on the overworld but short of learning how to snake, I couldn't see how to win the races. Load times weren't great either--what about on PS4?

I never expected Galaxy to work well without the Wiimote pointer, or even better as you say, so it's great to hear you had a positive experience. Did you happen to notice if they modified the positions of the twinkling stars on the title screen? Next up, bring on your report of Sunshine without the Gamecube controllers analogue shoulder buttons!

I tried Crash Team Racing as it is on the free trial scheme at the moment. Two races and I am done with it. Not for me!
