I don't recall any poor 'gameplay decisions' in Madworld? Or were you refering to the movie (which, admittedly, had no gameplay decisions because it was a film) And HVS have released plenty of games. By their own admission HVS are known for licensed product, where they've been up against the wall- developing with tight timescales and a tighter budget. The Conduit has been developed with fairer (internally decided) conditions, HVS are passionate about it, they're putting THE VAST MAJORITY of Wii developers to shame here, and if nothing else deserve fair, unbiased opinion- not the predjudice you're showing. Or have you played The Conduit?

But the internet died. Almost. And this, my friends, is a lie. Hopefully, there's some Goldeneye style 'shot in the ass' animation- with your name on it, Losty.

So says Gamesindustry.biz, via Eurogamer. The Oblivion and Fallout developer is set to announce a "really big Wii game this year", says Sean Brennan (Bethesda's european boss). Brennan continues "is there as space in the Wii market for that (mature games)? I think there is". Eurogamer's report is linked above, and Gamesindustry.biz from there. Welcome to the party, Bethesda.

So, thats Table Tennis, Golf, Cammie's Disk Dog, Fenceing with Pencils and Jetski. Only 3 more to go...

Thats disappointing. I was told there was a way of, i suppose, tricking the system with US iTunes vouchers... The content will be on Sky (our Pay TV operator) and they pretty much sew up the broadcast and PPV rights in the UK.
-
Hi We currently say Sky an extortionate amount of money, and i simply watch Lost and a handful of other US shows. So, i'm thinking out of the box for better solutions. I'm sure the others in the house can live without their shows, and a Freesat PVR should suffice for them. So, I've been thinking of getting Apple US for a while, mainly for US shows on iTunes- i believe all i need is a US i Tunes voucher, is that correct? Is there a function to automatically download shows- a sort of series link i suppose, so a show is always ready. What are the prices for US shows- is there a 'season pass'? Also, how much support do UK broadcasters give iTunes/apple TV? Is there any plan to get 5.1 sound on programmes- i believe this is/was a problem. Also, can i use AppleTV without a computer, just take it through the wireless router. Thanks muchly.

Along with endless discussion of how 'its not working' and debate about which arenas shouldn't be chosen? Nintendo Power is Officially liscensed, right? You'd imagine they'd want to try to get basic info correct. I'd imagine IGN would have the exclusive first review too...?

Before The Christmas Invasion? Surely, thats not possible, Rose was travelling with The Doctor before then- unless the report means before the Auton invasion in Rose? Of course, either way she'd recognise the Doctor when he regenerated from Nine to Ten? Wibbly wobbly, timey wimey stuff.

They were previously working on a driving game, right? Thats pretty casual genre in my opinion.
-
Me neither. I can simply not get to grips with it, no pun intended. I can't quite explain why, everything just seems loose somehow.
-
At least you're not using your Wii as a paperweight.
-
This: Only speculating here, thats pretty much what this thread is all about. Unless i've missed Fils-Aime or Iwata joining to spill some beans. I think Retro deserve a shot at new IP- and why not resurrect one of their own creations?
-
Oh, i think you should.

Brown? Its gotta be brown too, any primary colours instantly make gamers eyes bleed.

Nintendo would never sell Rare.

Imagine me rocking back and forth muttering 'Animal Robots' with a crazed look im my eye. This 'Bot thing is just something I can't seem to get past- its nothing to do with the quality, effort or even staying in a 'safe zone'; it simply does not gel with me (i'd apologise for mocking too, but come on- Animal Robots?!). It simply doesn't appeal- so much so that i feel i must ridicule it.
-
Watch out, Jonathan Ross is about I think this is a design that far more "Nintendo" than cooky, silly Animal Robots. I loved Stunt Race (although, at the speed it ran we're justified in suing Nintendo under trade descriptions). Everything put into Excitebots could've been reskinned as cartoon cars. Everytime i think of animal robots i really do cringe. The whole animal 'bot thing doesn't work for me at all. And of course, i won't. And neither will you without a euro release date. Animal Robots. Animal Robots. Animal Robots. Animal Robots. Animal Robots. Animal Robots. Animal Robots. Animal Robots. Animal Robots. Animal Robots. Animal Robots. Animal Robots. Animal Robots. Animal Robots. Animal Robots. Animal Robots. Animal Robots. Animal Robots. Animal Robots. Animal Robots. Animal Robots. Animal Robots. Animal Robots. Animal Robots. Animal Robots. Animal Robots. Animal Robots. Animal Robots. Animal Robots. Animal Robots. Animal Robots. Animal Robots. Animal Robots. Animal Robots. Animal Robots. Animal Robots.

I just don't think "bots" are saleable- a really, really poor choice of vehicle in my opinion. They're just silly and unappealing IMO. Its actually typical of Nintendo, at times they're so desperate to be different, they make really stupid choices. We all wanted Excite Truck 2 or Excitebike Wii- but wait, its been done by Sony, so just to be different Nintendo slap in some crazy "bots" and screw yet another loved franchise.

Ohhh... Interesting. Raven Blade would without a doubt be published by Nintendo, IGN's Craig Harris has recently seen a Nintendo title (Tuesday just gone) - which we've not heard anything about (although Matt does refer to it ion his Blog).
-
More recently, they did. However, before Lair, they were critical of Wii's horsepower.
-
Whose blog is this from? They refer to Bozon, but it's not his, right? I hate navigating through the IGN blog site- can never find anyone.

Is the revelation that the blurred image doesn't look that interesting anything to go by?

Julien was a founder member of Factor 5, so i doubt he's going anywhere. How was Factor 5 headed up anyway? And where did Julien sit in the scheme of things? Actually, details of the company's set up are here. San Rafel Factor 5 was only ever set up for Lucasarts projects, and i assume - thankfully- spun off as a seperate company. So its no different to the recent closures of MGS internal dev houses, etc (not being fan boy, just can't think of any others). Hopefully, Julien finds his feet- because he's a fucking Lord.
