  1. the fighting scenes in Freddy Vs. Jason were really cool thought the story was scraping the barrel a bit. No scary movies have ever really scared me, though the book of 'The Shining' did, it was miles better and scarier than the movie ever could be. Anyway favourite scary movie of all time has to either the 'texas chainsaw masacre' or the 'Scream' movies just because of the incredibly illogical plot twists in them, quite funny as well.
  2. I'm on the last level of PT and it says I need to activate my binoculars yet I don't know how. I've looked in the instruction manual but a lot of what it says is wrong e.g you have to use the R button to hit people where as it says to use the L button. Can anyone please help me on this?
  3. Welcome to the boards :wink:a45 Sorry Arragaun for stealing your joke, just thought it was kinda funny in a bit of a humorless kind of way. Anyways welcome!
  4. I went to the Reading concert yesterday. It was really great, though boiling hot. Best song they did had to be 'Blood Sugar Sex Magic' or 'under the Bridge' The support acts were '!!!' who I thought were really crap, partly due to the sound balance being all off, and 'Ben Harper' who I loved, thought they were great. Edit: Oh and some random girl came up and kissed me during the concert. Made it just that little bit better
  5. Yeah I've had a few dreams about exams like that, just stress or worry I guess. I did have an incredibly weird one (and incredibly sick!) I walked up my stairs and looked into the room where our computer is and sitting on my leather chair infront of the computer was a kangaroo, pleasurising itself, then I woke up. Havn't a clue what it means but it freaked m out a bit.
  6. I hadn't bought a game since Prince of Persia TT was released so I hunted down on ebay and got Second sight for £11 and Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow for £3.50 (so about £15 for the both). The thing is GC doesn't have (or hasn't had) many decent games released in ages (in the past 6 months all that comes to mind is Resi 4, Killer 7 and POP) so I think many people (like us) are going through the back catalogue of games and buying ones we didn't have a chance to get when they were released. I personnaly would have liked to get monkey ball as well, along with a few others like Hitman, Paper Mario, 1080, timesplitters, spiderman 2 etc.
  7. There's already 4 pages of this discussion yet I might as well add my tuppence. I've always called it 'Knock Knock Ginger' and so the debate continues...
  8. OMG!!!!! I can't believe this, it's sick!... You're ginger! __________________
  9. Buy your games off ebay and you'll get 'em even cheaper than in any shop mostly - even new sealed games cost about £5-10 less than they will in shops. e.g. Killer 7 new went for £22.
  10. The beautiful spanish guitar in Zelda OOT. Can't remember the place. Some fortress.

  12. praise you - fat boy slim I think.
  13. Of all time probably Appetite for Destruction - GNR. At the minute though it's got to be Bob Dylan's - The Freewheelin' Bob Dylan. Or Elvis Presley's - G.I. Blues.
  14. OK, who wants to own up to discovering this bit of news
  15. What about people like me who won't own multiple consoles, probably just a wii. I'll still want to play it and i think it would make good sense as i'm sure there'll be many wii owners who want to play it.
  16. really didn't like their single so probably not going to pick this up unless everyone really recommends it.
  17. the fight scene at the end of MI:II is pretty brutal - a bit boring though
  18. i'm a bit indifferent towards it. I'll have to listen to some other songs to decide whether to buy the album or not
  19. be great if they sold these online on the virtual console. Infact all the demos (duckhunt, the obstacle course etc.) should be available over the virtual console. I'd buy em
  20. Thanks for your help. I wasn't sure how to find out which codec I needed so I downloaded the VLC player and it works fine so thanks.
  21. if you have an '.avi' file (movie) how can you get it to play on windows media player or Quicktime movie player. All that happens for me is that I get the sound and no picture. Is there something I can change or download to allow me to watch these files?
  22. Is anyone else finding it way too hot to revise? I know I should be yet just can't seem to be bothered or to concentrate for any period of time. It's a nightmare
