Just placed my order too, yay! The initial couple of reviews have not been very positive though. OXM and OPM giving it 65%. Not that I'm bothered, I love the SNK fighters. Mate, don't even try to kid yourself. You know we will be fighting each other online pretty soon.

erm....BlazBlue, SSF2HDR, SFIV, Battle Fantasia, UFC, and MvC2 next week. Oh, and Garou MotW, Fatal Fury and Samurai Showdown on the eggbox. You simply can't have enough fighting games. There is definitely an over-saturation of the market at the moment, its hard enough just learning the intricacies of just one fighter. But meh, its my favourite genre.

Looks like this game has been pushed back a month or so, GAME are the only ones listing it. And they have the release date as 28/8/2009. KoF12 Yet it gets release in the US on Tuesday........Looks like VG+ will come in handy again.

Nowt wrong with a bit of Choze-baiting, I class it as a sport on these boards. So yeah, game looks good. Might buy it later but I'm the same as DJ, spent far too much on games so far. And my BlazBlue fetish does not seem to be waning.

Yep, my Xbox has now been relegated to the 'upstairs bedroom'. Sat in its place is a nice shiny new Sky+ HD box. I know what will happen, the 360 will just sit there until: a) It gets put on eBay or b) It dies due to being trampled on.

Agreed, I would go as far as saying they are two of the greatest games this generation. For the amount of time this game will give me, it will be worth every penny.

Just pre-ordered the Prestige edition from HMV. Had to drop a few pre-orders from ShopTo, but I think it will be worth it.

I picked this up on Friday, and would agree with most of the reviews. Its good, and has some excellent technical aspects. The Multiplayer is very good, better than W@W in my opinion. With regards the controls, while the Wii FPS controls are good, and it is a refreshing way to experience an FPS, I can get the reticule onto a target much quicker with a Dual Analogue. Especially if that target is behind me, I know you can adjust the turning speed in the Conduit. But it just ends going past the target for me. Maybe its just my inexperience with the WiiMote, although I was no slouch on MoH:H2.

When you are going from running to a shooting position, there is a delay built into the game mechanics. Its just trying to add a little risk/reward strategy. 'Do I run towards that sniper for the quick kill? Or do I walk with my rifle aimed in case he turns round'. Bad example, but the best I can give. However, when I press R1 to fire my weapon, there is no delay that I can detect, its instant, like any other shooting game. I think whatever 1000ms delay you were referring to was probably the latency when the game first launched. Teething problems that most online games suffer.

You do know that 1000ms is 1 second right? Therefore what you are saying is there is a 1 second delay between me inputting a button command, and the action taking place on-screen? Really? Or are you talking about latency? In which case I have not noticed any Lag whatsoever. Oh, and Wake Island > Any KZ2 map.

Me and DeathJamm playing online. One of the very few (one) times I have actually beaten him. I am Noel Vermillion (the girl) and DM is Ragna the Bloodedge (the boy). Sorry for the poor quality, and for some reason all my YouTube vids are always out of sync with the audio.

I bought both packs and, to be honest, they are not worth it. The only decent-ish map is the one with the Nuke. Also, Guerilla Games should have a word with DICE, Battlefield 1943 is how you do controls.

Do you have to push a button to speak with the mic? I can't hear Cooky's dulcit tones nor can he hear me. Anyway, this game is very good, only another 42 million before 'Coral Sea' gets unlocked *sigh* And I love how my two favourite games are instantly playable, Blazblue on disc, and this on the HDD. I don't even have to get off the sofa to switch between the two.

No flaming needed, being a Street Fighter aficionado myself, I was surprised to find a fighting game that is actually better, namely, BlazBlue. Anyway, think I am going to pick this up, everybody seems to be raving about it. Its either this or Fight Night anyway.

Just seen your edited post, and 'measured' button mashing is exactly what I was doing as well lol. I might have to have a look at Ragna, he is definitely badass, and has a similar moveset to a shoto. I think Noel is just not working for me. Oh, and love the sig, gonna get me one of those. If you can track this down, then get it. The limited edition is first run only, and because the game is soooo good, it will only go up in value. It could be months away, possibly close to a year before it gets a PAL release. I know you like to buy your multiplat games on the 360, but seriously, this is one of the few multiplats that is better on the PS3.
