7 or 8 years ago my Dad's WHOLE bike got stolen during a 5 minute shop in one of our village's stores that's only 3x3 metres big. Unbelievable. It was worth £600. So basically stop whining, there's always people worse of than you. Dont be such a fucking baby Daft. STOP IT!!!!!!

Yeah there's tons of neat touches, it's basically the Morrisons of supermarkets in organicness. Or organicicity, if you will. I appreciate all these things. It's just that I feel a bit frustrated by the map. I can't say 'oh lets go over there'. Also, I don't appreciate the invisible walls. I think what I'm not enjoying is that I'm not in a rhythm yet. Sort of bumbling about at the moment, wanting things to do, but not finding them or being frustrated by them.

It would be amazing in the cinema if you could guarentee that nobody would be such a blithering arsehole. Different experience to watching it alone, which granted would scare the shit out of you more, but it wouldn't necessarily be better. As I mentioned, there was one part where a hush came over the audience for a while at a night scene, and it was really weird. Not even a restrained cough to distract from the focus on the film, just a horifically dense ambience.

You see I do have an issue with that, because rather than feeling like a big open square where you can pissroll around to certain parts way off, I feel a bit restricted, and I don't think what I'm experiencing is unique because people here, and friends have been explaining exactly the same things I've done. Fallout 3 was more of a 'oh shit did you ever see this place?' type of affair. Having a big suggested path in Vegas, people are bound to trail off to see the things either side of it, because they're close and not closed off. Hard to explain. Obviously I'm not too far into the game, but I think it's a justifiable concern. It's definitely present.

Paranormal activity 2

It's not terror, it's just slightly annoying, but adds a few cool things to the game. It not being a cakewalk is a fairly rewarding change, not least because I know I'm getting the only gold trophy out of it, and a phat reward. Have no idea what it could be. Also, despite playing for 16 or 17 hours I still haven't reached Vegas yet, or gambled. I don't have much interest in gambling much either, but we'll see. I want to find more quests to be honest. Currently the game, whilst obviously open world, feels a bit linear in the way it kind of shoehorns you on a path.

You have to feed and water companions? Fuck. Off. Unless I'm misinterpreting. I only have Ed-E atm, and I'm pretty sure he doesn't eat.
