    Killzone 2

^ I ordered at Shopto as well, so I hope that happens! Can't believe the release is so imminent, been anticipating this for ages. Just really excited about the online, it's going to be great.

Not that the clan ever took off on R2... Thing is on K2 you can't create a clan straight away, you have to level up a bit first. So whoever gets there first (me) they can create it.
  3. Another funny review I thought would be worth putting up here from the Escapist http://www.escapistmagazine.com/videos/view/zero-punctuation/472-Sonic-Unleashed Also todays review: http://www.escapistmagazine.com/videos/view/zero-punctuation/553-Skate-2 The guy is hilarious, even if I do miss some of the stuff he says. What does everyone else think of the Sonic situation?
  4. You don't have to wreck your fingers when you play Tekken though, which to SF players is part of the fun apparently.
  5. Wrong, wrong, wrong! Tekken is awesome, I think the characters are great and I prefer the art-style. Obviously I can't really argue in terms of gameplay but I don't see Tekken being that bad in comparison. This is probably where our differences lay: Tekken 6 Street Fighter 4 To me the combos of Yoshimitsu are more badass. There's no room for debate if you are a huge SF fan though, if you grew up with the series and are a master at it I can see why you would prefer it.
  6. So have you got a frame for your webpage? Do you intend to make a forum? Have you got any skills needed for making a website or is it just a genius idea/pipedream?
  7. All the high ratings and praise has made me consider buying this as my first SF game. Don't really think it's worth getting 2 fighting games though because I am definetly getting Tekken 6.
  8. Good luck Canand, although we probably need more input from you in order to help. Edit: I'm sorry to do this but as a reality check: - There are loads of Nintendo websites - Most websites need multiple staff - It's best to have professional designers The only way I can see Canand succeeding is if he makes a website for him and his friends and doesn't hope to establish a massive website. It'll take a lot of help but would be achieveable to make a respectable webpage.
  9. Just had some games with Choze, did pretty well but didn't win any this time. There are a few flaws with online - I only crashed 3 times over the span of about 6 races (which is unusually low) yet people around me were crashing all the time and somehow maintained there position in front of me, which is annoying. Then there is the annoyances of minor things that make you flip into the air that you can't do much about - tiny bumps can send you over. Getting crunched at the start of the race can end your chances of victory too. APART FROM THAT the game is really fun to play.
  10. I liked it hehe. Did some split-screen online with a friend today and enjoyed it a lot.
  11. Oh yeah forget to mention, what did everyone think of Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket Powered Battle Cars? *puff* I thought it was pretty good personally, if a bit tricky in terms of gameplay.
  12. Yeah, obviously MS had the idea first (or implemented it first) (or implemented the best ideas first). But it's free on the PS3 which makes it even sweeter.
  13. So when you smash into someone and they roll - does the person who got smashed recieve a spontaneous reaction of the persons face that they got mullered by or is it a pre-taken photo? Edit: and I've never played a streetfighter game either. Seems like I'm missing out but I really like Tekken so I'll stick with that.
  14. Online gaming is so good. First realised it could be entertaining on the DS with Hunters and MK, didn't think it was tht great on Wii. Having spent a vast majority of time online on the PS3 it is fair to say it is the biggest leap forward for a long time - moreso than the Wii controllers I think. Just the fact you can connect to people from across the world and play against them in a game whilst talking - It's brilliant, especially when you use teamwork or beat them at something. And it's all pretty much free! It's the make or break point with so many games now, with stuff like Socom based purely on online.
  15. That was when the HDD was messed up though. It's fine now *touchwood*
  16. I really don't play this after my save corrupted. Was progressing really far. It always happens to me - LBP new level deleted, Uncharted progress - deleted, Resistance 2 stats - deleted, worst of all - Wipeout campaign progress - deleted. I got golds on all races on elite bar the lest section when the data corrupted - this is made worse because there is no European 100% save file on the net I can download.

    Killzone 2

^ Well it doesn't really happen in R2. Skirmishes are great but there is only one primary target and they can be slected at any time even if they are just about to die. Is great fun protecting them, running away or purging them. I have a knack for eliminating.
  18. Haha, mugshots?! How does that work?
  19. But this is for people with post-traumatic stress. I can see what you're saying but if you had this problem then you'd want to have that pill.
  20. I love Canand.

    Killzone 2

Oh right that was maybe what confused me when I played the beta at someone's house - So one minute you're told to blow something up and the next you just have to kill anyone on the opposing team.
  22. ^ Yeah you just say to yourself that this is what you're going to do and at the end you realise that you haven't actually achieved anything or you have spent loads of time on it. It's the drawback of a game mainly focused on creating - you realise why professionals have to make these games.
  23. Yakuza 3 tomorrow?! Count me in on that, it looks great.
  24. Nearing 5000 comments here, yet the 360 thread has tonnes more. Why is that? It was released earlier, yes, but I'd thought it would be a bit more 'even' by now. Maybe there just happen to be more 360 owners here or maybe the 360 is actually a better console!
  25. It's funny/sad to think how close so many creators may have come to creating something mindblowingly good, only to have it come unstuck with malfunctions or loss of data. I feel sorry for them, because even when I make something below par and it goes wrong, I still get frustrated.
