Well the only point I feel is left for me to make is that Metroid Prime is one of those 'special games' something that could be perceived slightly more than a game. I've played Fallout 3, Uncharted and Bioshock this year and they are all outstanding games, but really they don't have the magic of Prime, there's just so much special about it. Also I felt all above three games had too similar an environment throughout (didn't stop them being great though). Just a quick comparison, it's sort of the same as Mario 64 and the original Sypro, they are both brilliant platformers but one of them stood clearly above the other. And I've already mentioned the opinion thing so lets just tuck that away now. -

I love how arrogance floats around these days. Of course you don't have to show it's your opinion all the time, the fact you put it so bluntly the first time just got on my tits a bit. Btw Prime 3 is incomparable, nothing other than the controls are better in Corruption, and they weren't even an issue in the first place anyway. -
Yeah I looked at the store, Trash Panic demo WOOOOOP!!! Not that there's much point in me buying stuff at the moment.

Mahn, Metroid Prime is the godliest game ever made and for me, saying Bioshock is better is actually funny in my eyes. And if you're looking for flaws in the game, platforming isn't one of them. I thought jumping around was pretty seamless and it was nice knowing that you could jump up onto that ledge in the distance. It definetly deserves to be in any top 50 games of all time list, and it is in most of the ones I've seen. But yeah, we all have different views, just don't say that Prime isn't as good Bioshock as if it's fact. -
Yeah I won't be picking that up until it drops to £30. Crazy prices, a game is a game - just because it's a big title doesn't mean they should get away with selling it at that price. I don't care if it's a weak pound or not for them.

I actually think it could work really well, there's sometimes a certain charm that older 3D graphics technology can possess and this looks to have it. If there's lots of content then it could be great. The short time I've spent playing MGS3, it's been my least favourite. They made the camera so annoying in that game.

Unless you need that specific image, if you type in Boris Johnson Head (harhar) then you get other photos of his mug with either a black or white background.

A bit pissed off right now, want to play Resistance, alas, will have to wait x amount of days/weeks before sorting the PS3 out. Will call Sony somewhen and if they can't do anything I will have to fork out £100 to get it repaired from some website.

I'm not even going to bother restraining myself, you are a prick. First of all I'm not 'captain PS3' otherwise I would never have come to this site and I wouldn't be discussing Trilogy or The Conduit with enthusiasm. Plus there's no mates that you refer to on this here forum, it actually makes me sick that you thought any of this was anti-Wii. To make this worse you are without doubt Captain Wii yourself and you can't resist the urge to defend it even when the most minor thing is spoken against it. I speak what I think about each system and if you want you can look through my archive to find the multiple negative comments I've made about the PS3 and some of it's issues. If you can point out trolling in the thread then you must be fricking Sherlock. You just want to have a pop at someone for asking reasonable questions of the console you've got your nob stuck in. I wouldn't be surprised if you made this brash comment after the recent realisation that The Conduit didn't turn out to be the Goldeneye you wanted it to be so you've sort of had to balance this out with the satisfaction of accusing a PS3 owner of trolling, which btw is also a sickening term. If I get an infraction or worse for this at least it was worth it, people like you need to get off that inexistant high horse and stop making stuff up.

I can't really be bothered to give details but being reasonably good at football has helped muchly in not becoming a loner so I've always found that there have been plenty of friends throughout life. I still think, despite the 'you should just be yourself' argument, that you should conform to a few conventions, otherwise the resulting bullying or mis-treation (probably not a word) is just not worth going through. Though to be fair I haven't had a problem with whatever is called the normal fashion at the time. Don't hate me. -
But think of all the cleaning costs! As for Rapture, well just think of how hard that would be to make! And what are the benefits other than being pretty darn cool? You don't get shat on from above? Tbh given the situation I really would just sell it to the highest bidder (probably the government) because I probably couldn't be assed to do anything with it myself. However you could 'easily' make it into a large profiting business.

The best parts are just Brooker being Brooker, the rest may as well not happen, still good TV though. Him talking about the guy off Watchdog or whatever was hilarious.

I couldn't care less about Fallout 3 right now, even though it's an outstanding game I don't feel the need to traipse around more levels in it for some reason. Probably because of the play time, but I'm still miffed that I didn't get any trophies for it because they were patched in afterwards.

Just watched this: http://www.youtube.com/user/thegadgetshow?blend=2&ob=4 Seems the Gadget Show are pretty certain the Slim is almost in production and they're about as trustworthy as any source out there so I'd take their word. Plus they have Otis on there (Anyone remember him from Xchange on CBBC?) who is an absolute guy.

Well I just felt that the other Prime games were (I'm sorry to use the word) more epic. It seemed like there was stuff outside the vivinity of where you were playing. For me Corruption felt like a chain of linear places where Samus could just mess around, especially Elysia, it just had nothing to it. Let's just say I was disappointed with the structures and environments, there was nothing astounding or hidden away etc.

Skytown, well the music isn't that great and I prefer the main Torvus theme to it, plus no environments in 3 captured the brilliance of Prime. They felt empty and not part of a bigger planet or world.

Which is an entirely credible post, as standalone music Prime is the winnner, in terms of mood setting and making the game they both work in different ways. Prime felt like an adventure whereas Echoes was more of a struggle.
