He probably hasn't played (m)any decent FPS games in his life for any prolonged period of time and is probably only attacking analogues because the Wii doesn't use them. They were made with efficiency in mind and the reason they haven't been changed is because they work. Look, I'd rather use a controller over the keyboard and mouse. Never when I play an FPS do I think that I should be playing with the PC. It seems you equate speed of reticule as better control, when really analogues don't stop the action being fast. A pad feels like you've got everything at your disposal instead of a flat keyboard in which you could use a number of poor buttons. Plus I meant PS3 & 360 shooting exclusives, why the top 15 games? To make your statistic sound better? That's like arguing that there is no point in exclusives. Which is just wrong. And I will say I agree with MatTheHat. Whilst Wii controls are are different way to play than analogue, it is much easier aiming with analogue. Just the natural quiver of your hand means that aiming is less precise. It's a far greater difference between pad and mouse, but I'd still rather play KZ with Wii controls (I think).

Stfu Shino. He plays on the Xbox so he is used to it, likewise you are used to PC controls. Personally I find the PC too simple, just move your hand, bang the reticule is there. And it's a level playing field if everyone is using a controller so it's not about just pointing quickly, you just have to use your tool well. I prefer both Wii and Analogue over PC, it is just preference. At least the Wii controls have a bit more skill to them unlike the mouse. Yes you can get players of varying quality with the mouse but why bother when the keyboard makes for a rubbish controller? No feedback or anything. When controllers never feel like a hindrance why should I care if I could be slightly faster if I had a mouse and could use that against people that couldnt use one? Plus with PC you don't get many exclusives.

I'm sorry Choze but you just expect everything to be like KZ. 1943 is a solid shooting game that mixes things up because of the different vehicles and action. The shooting and melee stuff is about as good as they could've made it. It is a great team game and I like it, as do I like KZ and R2 and others, like Unreal. Edge rated it a 9, which is better than the 7 it gave KZ, so it is fact that it is better than KZ. Unarguably.

My Jabra is fucked btw, left it to charge for the last two days and it is still has an orange LED signal so that's not going to work. I think it's because it just won't charge anymore, there's no life signs when I plug it in. I can occasionally here Cookster without the headset though. And fair enough Dyson if it's not your thing. I think the simplicity and the general action is great. However I think it would benefit from having more players online, 32 would've made it that little bit better. As it is there aren't really enough players because there are 5 bases which means 3 people or less per flag and generally people wander off on a crusade to the other side to capture a base thus leaving their own bases vulnerable to just one man that has snuck around.

The fun in this game is found by sneaking behind an enemy base and just going rambo through all of them. Just came first, however I will have to learn how to control the planes, haven't done the tutorial yet. Edit: Was just involved in a brilliant game there, topped the leaderboard with roughly 650 points. It had everything, I managed a couple of melee kills, air raid kills, tank kills and general shooting pr0 power and I'm now a Battlefield fan. It was just so good and like many FPS gets better as you get better. I still suck with the plane but hey, you can't have it all after just a few hours worth of play. Edit 2: This game is addictive I tell thee. The only thing that's missing is some sort of upgrade/reward system that gives you benefits for good play. Then again the simplicity and straight-forwedness is what makes it so great and it betters a lot of shooters out there. The shooting is very satisfying, especially the rifle, as I said to Cooky it works and yields satisfying results. The game has sort of made me a shooter whore because now I want BF2 and every other highly rated shooter.
