Erm... Any chance of a Resistance 3 announcement? Obviously not, but I'd just like game announcements and for them to say that they will do repairs for free. That last bit is at a stretch. Maybe we'll hear more about The Agent, but personally I'm not too excited for it despite lack of info. Edit: OMG a possibility of Res 3 actually making a showing! Mat you shouldn't have! Edit: Oh right not anything special, kinda obvious they'd start working on it sooner or later. Edit: I doubt it's even Resistance, the way they described it doesn't really suit the game. Edit: how long is the conference meant to last? Is this that 3 hour one? I'm expecting the same introduction to the leaked info, "Oh yeah, there's a really big surprise in store for you, it's the PS3 Slim. You guys haven't heard of that right?"

^ That's kind of obvious though, sometimes it's a bad thing because it makes players 'grind' or carry on playing for a needless amount of time to an extent where you actually become bored and therefore it dampens your thought of the game somewhat.

After watching the first 3 episodes it was becoming a fairly interesting programme, but when I looked back to check the thread I was informed the Nikki(sp?) had gone, and tbh her and the alcoholic one were the show makers so I can't be bothered to watch the rest.

Forgot to mention the crappy load times for trophies, sometimes you have to sync them, watch a load symbol and games sometimes need to load the trophies before you get to the main menu.

I remember reading an article about how achievements were so much better than trophies, and when I clicked on the link I was like 'Well not really', but it turned out to make a lot of sense. I do like the platinums though, they sound more valuable than a 1000/1000 score because you get a token for it and they have a proper name.

I'd rather Sony employed complete twats for customer service but repaired the PS3 for free or a reasonable sum rather than making people pay for a refurb at half the price of a new system. It's rediculous, crap warranty and it doesn't really matter if you're within it, you still have to cough up.

Who said it was game of the year? And apparently the PS3 boxarts might be changed so that the PS3 logo goes at the top and not the bottom, so there's no crappy plastic stuff at the top. However that was just a rumour from an N4G source so it's probably false.

There's actually no way you can't get the trophy. When you've achieved everything up to this point you won't be denied platinum by 1 target, especially one as coveted as Wipeout. Just practise on Anulpha Pass forward, keep your calm and determination will get you through it. Slightly worrying that you can't get past 52, but keep plugging away at Anulpha and it's not as difficult as it first appears. I worked my way up from 60 zones being my average right up to 77. It's just a case of time til you do it, whereas the other things you've accomplished may never be attainable if you just naturally don't have the ability, which sounds like a total arse thing to say but it's pretty true.

Erm yes, look anywhere and you will see that technically Killzone is the bar setter in terms of actual graphics. I'm trying hard in not making it appear like I bum-rape the game like Choze does but the below is an unbiased comment. When I played Killzone I did not realise it wasn't as smooth a framerate as Cod. Now for some it's important, and for some it's not. The fact that multiplayer is KZ is really smooth makes me think that the frame rate doesn't matter so much, but it's just my opinion. Likewise yours. By controls, that is also just opinion, and I wasn't talking specifically about KZ but more about pad preference. The controls were pretty shit in KZ to begin with, although for me it wasn't a game-breaker. Was a bit shit they didn't sort them out in the beginning but oh well, in the end the controls aren't an issue in the end. You have no authority to talk about the game anyway. By controls I meant the pad. Tbf I don't think the ps3/xbox pad debate is necessary, it's just how you feel about holding them. As for myself I think they're bang on even, (may be because I have small hands I don't find a problem with PS3 controller comfort) each has their little niggles etc but they wouldn't factor in a decision over what system to get a multiplatform game for. That's why I'm saying these are needless arguments.

That would be nice, given my situation, but I somehow doubt it I actually think the price they ask is rediculous. £145 for a refurb atm is the only 'official' option. They apparently don't do repairs. When my cousin had his Xbox break for the third time (and out of warranty may I add) he had his repaired for free, like the previous 2 happenings. Now I know it's a different case and each has their own associated costs but I know that paying £145 when a machine breaks for a fault that wasn't caused by me - it's happened to many - I know that there's something wrong.

I didn't know questions could be answered so badly. Personally I haven't seen any 'It's the big comeback' posts, especially here in N-Europe, you're just trying to have another dig at the PS3 aren't you? Otherwise you wouldn't be pissed off when there's no reason for it - you take pleasure in reading the numbers when Sony aren't doing well. Maybe the people you talk to are all half-wits like yourself. I would detail the sheer brilliance of your last line but I can't be bothered.

Cheapo Tesco Orange Juice cartons where some prick thought it would be funny to design a seal/lid that you can't open without half the contents shooting up into your face. They shouldn't assume that you want to the stuff to be jetted into your mouth immediatly upon it being tugged. The 'End Now' function on the computer, and general freezes. I don't understand why there aren't computers that reliably let you just close everything with a special button combo. You know that pressing ctrl alt delete will just slow the computer down even more than it is and then when you click on end programme it will continue to run for a few minutes even though it's doing jack shit. So you click 'end' 10 times just to get rid of the bastard and then tons of error report messages come up. When you try and show someone a quality video but they either don't give it a chance or they refuse to be impressed because there are other people around. That last bit can apply to many things however.

Hard to know how to reply to that, because I realise the comments I make are far out and they turn heads but it's better for me, instead of selling myself and private life in a boring manner (not saying you do) I spark responses that wouldn't be garnered if I repressed everything that needs to be repressed in real life. The net is a free world! Say what I want at liberty and hope for some funnies. I understand you are joking, just putting it out there.

Dunno if it's the game's fault or mine (probably a bit of both) but I'm glad I was given this in a share rather than buying it. Playing at what hardly constitutes a busy time (1am) and it's too laggy to enjoy. My friend has a similar strength (well, weak) connection and it was playable there at 8pm. Oh well, hopefully it'll be better at other times.

I'm not going to buy games for trophies but I guess the next game I will attempt platinum on will be Among Thieves or Crack in Time. I'm telling myself that I won't bother with MGS4 trophies but then I may play it again in a year or so and start whoring on that. However there are a lot of annoying missions in the game so then again I might not bother.
