It's average, and gets repetitive. I'd choose Heavy Rain if I were you, it's a bloody well spent 9 hours of entertainment.

I'd agree with all of that. Apart from I would happily embrace a map that was twice as big, as long as the underground was streamlined with better map instructions, and weren't as boring. Far fewer replicated buildings would be great too. It has been said that the map would be the same size however. Hopefully there are more focal points in this though. The local map was really quite shit. All I want really is a ton more secret areas, but one's that aren't accessed in secluded monotonous ways. It's hard to explain, but I'm talking stuff like the lower Pinkerton entrance and underwater areas of Rivet City, as well as the gate that opened to Takoma park etc. More of this, more little drains that you can descend into which keep the half-retro feel to the game. Basically paths that aren't obvious and pointed out.

Whether they're really shite, shite, or passable, it's fun watching them anyway. You're better at Uncharted.

Online is awesome, not sure why you'd play it offline. Just seeing ghosts of people running around is somehow comforting and, I dunno. It's just cool. Not sure when I'll start playing this again. I look forward to being in the mood for it though!

Yeah, a lot of the awesomeness of Fallout was exploring the world Bethesda had made up, but seeing a similar expanse with the same engine probably won't generate that feeling.

That is a massive lose. I freed him but killed him straight afterwards because he looked like a prick.

I have only listened briefly to a couple of the songs from Plastic Beach, Gorillaz, and I didn't come across anything which blew me away. I'm not surprised because the nature of their music demands multiple listens. Just wondered what everyone makes of the album and what their favourite track is. And as a compliment, here's Dare, which gave me goosebumps having somehow gone without hearing it for ages. Audio

I bought the other map pack, played a ton of games tonight, but none of the maps from it were chosen. They came up but nobody seemed to click on zem. My K/D dropped to 1.51, been playing pretty poor Sometimes I get stuck in a certain crappy playstyle, and when I'm not concentrating it gets seriously bad. Rez, you're insane. 1700 kills and a ratio of something like 1.8 ... Amazing. Plunder on the museum is pretty awesome. Played it 3 times, and in one game won 5-4 with moi getting 3 captures. I enjoy.

That would put even more pressure on the writers though, the scripting becomes a lot harder when you start having big changes like that. I don't mind too much about picking a race or class in this game, in fact I think it benefits from being a human character. Makes it feel more badass and relatable. Plus it's unique to that wonderer, not multiple species that could have similar experiences. Not sure how to phrase it.

You've got quite a hell of a collection considering you haven't had a PS3 for very long (amiright?) and so I think you should look back through those games and see if you could get more out of them. Wipeout's online trophies do indeed suck ass, but I only got them after I did the single player ones, because they're way more fun, and as I say about many games, they're very rewarding. If you go through the campaign and get good by going through it on elite difficulty, you'll learn the tricks of the trade and have an absolute blast, I assure you. I understand why you might not like Unch2 multiplayer, I didn't originally. The things I didn't like about it were changed though, although I'm guessing you just don't like the actual gameplay.

I haven't played Demon's Souls for a couple of weeks, can't be arsed to put the disc in to be frank. It's not that I'm stuck, I'm just not in the mood to play it really, I was when I bought it though. I rebought Uncharted 2 for £15 and then the Siege Expansion for £4.70, so that may be slightly over your 20 euro budget. Well worth it though, the multiplayer is fantastic and I feel is the perfect break from Demon's Souls. You should consider Wipeout HD/Fury as that's my favourite PSN game, alongside 1943.

After playing Fallout 3 I got the GotY edition, and whilst I'm fairly glad I played it, I'm not sure it was worth the hassle. The DLC doesn't really make the standalone experience any better, and even as seperate little quests they don't add anything that substantial if I'm being honest. Most of them became a bit of a drag, so the only reason that would make me download any extra stuff would be down to price points and whether or not you can continue your game after you've finished the main quest. From this game I'd like: More secret little areas and more of those unique weapons More creature varieties Bosses or larger foes More towns or settlements, which going by the previous info it sounds like there will be far less glitches + tons more things that I can't be bothered to think about right now

Bump Interesting preview with IGN. There's a couple of little spoilers depending on how sensitive you are towards the game but a lot of it sounds interesting, and a few of the screenshots just make me want it more and more. http://uk.ps3.ign.com/articles/108/1087126p3.html

I think the roll ability is actually the coolest of the bunch, and I can see it being bloody useful. Especially for awesome kills and dodges.

I was being just as ignorant as everyone else by the looks of things.

I thought Bungie's next release was Reach?
-
Dwarf calls it first: Kotick will charge £55 for when Reach comes out.
-
If only that could guarantee a ps3 release of Reach...

The end bit pretty much reminded be of the Nathan Hale yellow eyes give away at the end of Resistance FoM.

Yeah it was some good shit. Btw I left you a funny PSN message, but you didn't come back online to read it so it might not make sense anymore :/

I've been using it recently and found it spreads unbelievably well. COULD THIS POSSIBLY BE FRIDGE TEMPERATURE DIFFERENCES IMPACTING ON OUR OPINIONS?!
