  1. I'm flicking between them all, but savouring the Brooker moments. Carr is okay, I'm kind of indifferent about him.
  2. Hmmm hung parliament going by the Exit Polls, but would that majority of conservative be enough for them to claim the right to govern, or would Labour try and stay in power somehow by partnering with Lib Dems in some form? I don't really know what I'm on about but that's the kind of stuff they're blabbering on about atm.
  3. You've completely undermined the thread, you've completely spoiled the results, you've completely ruined my life.
  4. Why the OTT rudeness? No.
  5. Sticky white stuff all down the arm... I would've done it differently. (I've got bored of this comp)
  6. Well I figure I might get them both to max at some point, and whilst I may get a better weapon by that point, I see people using Mirdan Hammers at very high levels. You want variety afterall, plus this weapon is currently kicking enough arse as it is.
  7. ... and ITV shit.
  8. Wow we have some impatient whiners here. I've made a few polls on NE before and I have made the results both public and viewable before the close date. In this case I think it's better to have authenticity, instead of having the standard poll that dribbles on and doesn't actually have a 'climax' as it were. This way we'll have a "BOOM!! Look at dem poll results blaaad" situation and everyone will be happy. That's why I said to just make your vote and talk amongst yourselves later. This thread isn't going anywhere, neither will you lot be leaving your computers (actually a fair amount will to be watching The Alternative Election which I highly recommend). Hopefully I've explained well enough about why we can't go on like this, and why we can improve polls so that they are more interesting. Are you thinking what I'm thinking now? It's time for change, and that's what I can bring you and have brought you. With voters discretion hidden for everybody, I believe in a future fair for all. This is change that works for you.
  9. If I could vote I'd probably vote Labour. They're experienced, the Conservatives aren't an option, and I just don't think the Liberals have the depth to be a successful government. I'm fairly happy with what I have at the moment, and I have a bit of trust in Brown that he knows his economics and won't make a monumental error.
  10. I have around the same level in both, plus they're fairly high, so I think I made the right choice. Of course you need both skills at max for that 388 damage to take effect, but the base damage is more for me at the moment with quality than what I would have with crushing.
  11. I thought having the results hidden would ensure no one was influenced in their decision before hand. They'll be revealed 10.48 tomorrow when there will be plenty of talk, so just get your vote down and tomorrow can be discussion tyme. I am sticking with my decision because I believe it is the right thing to do.
  12. Shush, I made the post and added the poll after. Because that is the right thing to do.
  13. I thought it would be interesting to see how representative NE is of the UK (not very I assume) by making this poll now on your votes, and checking them against the soon to be announcement. I'm sorry if I'm generalising by just including the main 3 parties, but oh well. This'll be a private poll, so don't worry about getting raped over you decision when people view the results. If you want to make it clear in the thread you can if you want, but there's already a thread for that really.
  14. Yeah that would be useful if he's at level 50 or above (highly recommended), but ideally you want to be going through different dungeons and exiting entering them when you feel like you can manage. Edit: I got the Mirdan Hammer, but instead of making the Crushing version, I went for the Quality one because it gives bonuses for strength and dexterity, plus it does more overall damage. Got it to +4, missing pure clearstone and large shard I think for +5. Edit 2: Just to say, what a weapon. It can be hard to time, and takes a while to strike, but it does mega damage. Plus the R2 swing is so satisfying.
  15. You don't really need to soul farm. I only just started to do it, for about 15 minutes worth, and I'm level 70. Just plug away is all I will say. Rhyme ftw.
  16. It's laughable in so many ways, but there's a few things from it I would really like to see. I'm still of the belief that Canand is having us all on with this kinda shit. This sheet of paper has listed every game that could possibly have a sequel, it makes up bullshit titles, it doesn't make guesses at any Move or 3DS games, plus what is this sheet for anyway? It doesn't look official in any way, they wouldn't list things under 'exclusives' and it wouldn't just be one solitary page with a vague-ass title. Not sure why I wasted the time pointing all that out. Canand, you'll need to try harder to fool us next time.
  17. Sorry to hear that. I do stuff like that, pretty lame, but face it; there's worse things you could've done. I'm not surprised someone had lent you it because it doesn't really have replayability, plus it's really cheap due to the amount of copies lying around.
  18. I am such a fucking tit. I used the Swollen demon's soul to get the regeneration miracle. That means I can't make the meatcleaver. Fuck sake. Suggestions for other great melee weapons? I've been using a +5 axe for ages and it just isn't very good. Plus the Meatcleaver is so fucking easy to make. PLEEEB! Neither can I get the demonbrand because I don't remember where Ostrava went. Any chance of getting a meatcleaver and dropping it for me Sheikah? Edit: Got playing this after the mentioned absence. Had a couple of hours on it, turned out to be very productive. It involved farming the souls off the grim, using them to upgrade faith so I could learn the second chance miracle because I needed an extra memory slot. Then I decided I would try and beat Scirvir with the bow, so I got black tendency, spent a while getting Scirvir's health down, and once he was at 20% or so, I managed to stop him from healing with each hit, which was less difficult than my last attempt because he kept running around. So I get the much wanted Talisman of Beasts, only to find I needed to upgrade faith skill twice more. So I did a bit more farming for it and I can now use it. Feels so good, plus I dumped a load of equipment and shizzle and sorted my inventory out. That can be somehow very satisfying in itself. To top of a semi-grinding, semi relearning Demon's Souls experience, I discovered the Talisman does a good 30 more damage than the catalyst. Awesome. I was thinking to myself about not playing the game, and I wondered if it really was as great as what I had said in earlier posts, but tonight confirmed it, so good news. If only I had a good weapon for christ sake. The axe is OK but I'd like something heroic that matches the growing prowess of my character. I'd kind of like something that you haven't had a go with Sheikah, just so I can test it.
  19. Well it sounds like you've got a lot of ollllld games. R&C came way before the trophy patch. I think it was 2 years before trophies were added?
  20. It's average, and gets repetitive. I'd choose Heavy Rain if I were you, it's a bloody well spent 9 hours of entertainment.
  21. I'd agree with all of that. Apart from I would happily embrace a map that was twice as big, as long as the underground was streamlined with better map instructions, and weren't as boring. Far fewer replicated buildings would be great too. It has been said that the map would be the same size however. Hopefully there are more focal points in this though. The local map was really quite shit. All I want really is a ton more secret areas, but one's that aren't accessed in secluded monotonous ways. It's hard to explain, but I'm talking stuff like the lower Pinkerton entrance and underwater areas of Rivet City, as well as the gate that opened to Takoma park etc. More of this, more little drains that you can descend into which keep the half-retro feel to the game. Basically paths that aren't obvious and pointed out.
  22. Whether they're really shite, shite, or passable, it's fun watching them anyway. You're better at Uncharted.
  23. Online is awesome, not sure why you'd play it offline. Just seeing ghosts of people running around is somehow comforting and, I dunno. It's just cool. Not sure when I'll start playing this again. I look forward to being in the mood for it though!
  24. Yeah, a lot of the awesomeness of Fallout was exploring the world Bethesda had made up, but seeing a similar expanse with the same engine probably won't generate that feeling.
  25. That is a massive lose. I freed him but killed him straight afterwards because he looked like a prick.
