3 nights in the Corinthia St. George's bay Malta. Not having sunglasses in my car was driving me mad. I have the bright yellow version, love it, so bought myself another! Why not..

Context time! When I was there, I lived on 42nd street, that's basically a few blocks from Times Square (which fyi I'm looking at staying when I go for my friend's 30th next year). It was about $3000 a month. Honestly going to NY (I'm going back to Manhattan next year for my friends birthday) is just crazy. You could so easily go to Thailand for similar money - for longer and have the best time. Or y'know go to Malta for like 5 times in a year.

Thanks - I've always heard mixed things, I'm by no means in dire need of someone to speak to these days. But it could have been harmful or helpful a few years ago.

Oooh! I have the Z1c do you know whether it fits them as well? Also where from?
-
Because reasons.

Well that puts me off going to see one... More car trouble, looks like my wheel bearing has gone. Something that potentially Halfords should have picked up when I put it in recently. Sigh. So my car got taken away on a truck, bye car, sorry again.

Sheffers always seems to get snow. I remember at uni when it was nearly knee deep on my road and the whole city was a dead zone. -
I suppose it's easily done! The problem we have is technology is really easy (for the most part) for us to use, whereas some generations and others in general just simply have no idea. At least you fixed it! Hopefully your mum appreciated it

I'm not sure how that is supposed to make me feel better. I nearly lost my car (my insurance tried to write it off) and got hit head on... But that sucks, makes me wonder if the previous owner knew about it..
-
My car is all fixed! It only cost a grand.. I'm still waiting for my solicitors to get the money from the '3rd party' as it was their fault, but for now, my car is safe and cleaner than ever. Phew.

Taking it back, ended up being hardly anything like the photo, sigh. £70 gone!

Are you ok? Send us a message if you need to rant. Also guys, let's end this here shall we, we get it, wasn't needed, was a joke etc etc.

For my Christmas party Friday:

So I'm not sure if I mentioned here or not about my bump a couple of weeks ago where a colleague reversed into me. At any rate, that happened and apart from a few scratches, everything was fine. Today, I got hit by someone else, this time front on. Thankfully, I'm ok, the car superfacial damage, but relatively ok. So now I've spent three hours talking to various people to get it fixed. Both times not my fault. Both times the driver was being stupid (today they were leaning out the window to see because they hadn't defrosted their windscreen. Joy.) After this and my chipped windscreen from a lorry this week, I'm ready to bury my head in my bed and never come out. Fuck cars and fuck bad drivers.
-
Like that ever helped! Today, I've fully put my resentment at lorries. I got a chipped windscreen on the way to work. Third time in a very short space of time. Not only that but Hastings (my insurer) don't work with autoglass, so now I have to wait til Thursday due to them being slow on calling me back to get it fixed Thursday. Should have just paid autoglass the 70quid..
-
Oh come on, you should be used to that. If I recall in uni you had a room where the window never shut.
-
Don't even get me started - it's been four month since we moved into this place (me and my housemate) and we're still finding things we need!
-
I'm with you on this one. Got a charge for customs. It was supposed to be £4 but £8 was added by Royal Mail for the privilege. Thanks, assholes. I could have understood if the blasted thing had weighed a ton. But nooooo...

Holy... Although to be fair, my office is bound to go the same way, we've had no sink in the kitchen all this week. We also spent the morning with no network - so no work, until midday due to another powercut. I fully expect the same thing on Monday.

Few things have cropped up lately! 1. The trouble I've been having with getting to work, do you remember? Whelp work found out (even though I'd told them, but fine.) through a friend who has just left that I was getting fed up of paying over the odds to get to work and struggling. So now I have parking! (I fear they might be worried about me quitting, it was getting that bad..) 2. Every so often (at least once a month at the moment) I do night shift (about 4 hours or so) followed by a few hours in the office in the same day. Whelp this isn't quite legal, so now I can not only work from home that day, but get paid a flat out fee of £100 every time I do it. Lovely. Thanks boss.

@Animal Nope it doesn't, it already has footsteps on it. I didn't see any heat mugs whilst I was there.

I went to the wb studio tours yesterday so of course I bought: and Really cool place to visit, even if you're not a massive fan, the film mechanics were awesome to look at.
