Bah even most of the people on my Computing/Information Systems course weren't that into gaming. I must just be missing these gaming groups.
-
I don't have that many friends but of the few i do, most aren't into it, and my family treats it as a 'devil's plaything'.

Those weapons are awesome but MOAB is just a singleplayer only weapon in that it attaches to your car when you pick it up. Blow the car to blow the bomb.
-
Thing is, sometimes the vehicles get 'stuck' in a building when you would want to drive around and use them a bit more. Also bailing out i know about but not a good idea when you have 10 soldiers on you armed with rifles and the deadly shotgun and you are writhing about on the floor like some fool. But will try your bailing idea next time and hope that the blast is big enough to get me some time to recover. Also, anyone take the time to use the MOABS? I have used 2 but found that the blast is a little disappointing

Yes that's nice but can anybody answer my question? EDIT: MY bad. OP's pic shows two Blu-ray disks plus two CDs. And IIRC Blu rays are region free.
-
Yeah but they can be a tad bit slow and my god do you draw alot of fire in this game. I have probably died more times than i did on Infamous and I died alot on that game. Hmmm could be encroaching my Demon souls death count... EDIT: Oh and the ostrich hammer is in the game. Just need to somehow unlock it....

What's the best vehicle to do that with? I find that most of the time I need to get out of thing when I do this as its on fire and ready to explode.

Multiplayer is definitely addictive and so much fun. Nothing like getting a bit of stealth and then abusing the sledgehammer a bit. Got 5 kills in a row thanks to that.
-
One thing though. It comes with a bonus video disk in the ps3 version....that means region locked dvd for ps3 or will that (really it should be) contained on the blu ray disk? WTF! Just bought a white DS3 pad from the same site! That's 80 quid (40 for controller + 40 for Blaz Blue) in the space of a few days! Not counting buying a few bits on ebay! GOTTA STOP SPENDING! EDIT2: Blaz Blue sold out on PS3 from VGP. Well lucky I got in there when i did...

Sweeney Todd --> fantastic. Batman Begins --> can actually see shit this time thanks to HD. Hancock --> First half of the film is awesome. Planet terror --> HD makes the film look so much more disgusting, AWESOME. Apocalypto --> not sure if it benefits from HD but it was such a good watch. Casino Royale --> Opening scene will wipe the dust of SD out of your eyes. You wont want to go back. Just a few of the films I picked up during a Blu-ray binge. Also got Iron Man which looks fantastic and is a great film to boot but I think that's already been suggested. OH OH and Blare Runner, thought that would probably put you to sleep. OH OH and Chocolate. Damnit who did I lend that to?

Yup me! Game really feels like GTA (older ones, not played 4 yet) but with ultimate destruction in mind. Nothing like taking out a bridge with plenty of rockets, grenades and a car with a relic bomb attached and armed. Was awesome seeing the army trying to cross but getting caught up in my explosives. Some bits in the game are hilarious like when you get the walker and are just flipping cars all over the place. Be warned though, you die FAST. Enemies are accurate and if you have only a sliver of life left and are running, be prepared to see that loading screen as they will gun you down with ease. Online is SOOOOOO fun. Rhino through a wall and get opponents on the other side, or use the stealth pack and sledgehammer your foes into submission. If the campaign wasn't so...enjoyable (wanted a different word, not addicted but am certainly enthralled by the carnage that can be caused) then i would be hammering the multiplayer.

I tried the demo and made up my mind that if I could get it for around £15 on ebay, it would be mine. Thus far, it's deceptively deep! Advanced shooting technique is just that! Putting, my god do i suck at it BUT i did get better in the last course I played. Very fun and loads to unlock and graphics are pleasant on the eye. Music is cringeworthy, like elevator music BUT suits the mood and pace of the game well. even online is fun, though my suckiness shone right through. Oh and it's immensely relaxing when you do practice mode but if you go into a proper match, can be tense when you are lining a shot for a potential birdie.

Shiiiiiiiiit. i am deeply saddened to hear this. Just read a story today which claimed he was the king of bling and now, it seems he's dead. Just been watching compilations of his greatest video recently too. Reminded me how great he was.

THIS! I remember trying to play burnout paradise on my old 21 inch CRT and could not see shit! Probably a combo of meant to be on HD and poo eyesight.

Seeing as I have never play a COD game, initially I care little. BUT if this were to prove successful, or at least be acceptable to some gamers, I would not be surprised if other FPS developers copied the idea. Thus if this idea spread to the few fps that I own and play online, I would be a little more than pissed as really, I associate such pricing structures with MMOs and that's it. SO...if I were to take this survey I would say big fat HELL NO. Also, with Activision's recent activities and the way they like to milk franchises, I am totally not surprised by this bit of news and actually suspect they could have purposefully leaked this info to see what people's reactions would be.

Sooooooooo tired of them. May have been tired for years, which is funny because I don't think I have played that many. Just most of the great ones on the PC around the half life time period and beyond, the ones on the N64, and quite a few on the PS2. Thing is, they always had to have a hook, a sci-fi bent or could never be WW2 or similarly themed. Nowadays I am super selective. I only play franchises I know I like or shooters from trusted developers, alwats wary to try something new, as really I don't have the patience for that. Even the beautiful ones like crysis are a little stale. Prefarably they need to have an RPG element to them like Fallout, Bioshock and Deus Ex otherwise my interest from the single player wanes very quickly and even now, I only own the first two of that list and Killzone 2 in a games collection that is probably nearing 20 games. I don't feel a need to get another unless it's a sequel to one of these. On steam, I own the typical valve lot but thats about it, and if they were in physical cases, they would have gathered quite a lot of dust by now.

Decided to get this: as well as win an auction for everybody's golf and Red Faction: guerilla instead of getting the pseye. Will figure that out later.
