Personally my new fave character is the Turian havoc. That one has reach AND flexibility. I wonder if one of the volus' handicaps is that he seems to have a massively diminished field of view compared to the other races. EDIT: This dlc is fantastic btw. Collectors as an enemy are soo.....imposing, new weapons are very unique, classes are just so varied and fantastic.

Gah I hate playing this with randoms. They skip through the dialogue so a) you can't tell what people are saying to you and b) you miss crucial mission info which screws up your chances of figuring out how to complete them. Really damn annoying but its the only way I get can into four player parties.

Seeing as you haven't played any games in the ME series (judging on what you said in the post), I thought I would correct you a bit. 1) The hardcore ME3 fans would probably not buy ME3 on the wii as the game had an ending that was unsatisfactory to alot of them, if not all, and when you play the ME games, the decisions you make carry on into the next game. That not being properly represented on the Wii U would put them off. Which is really just a massive reason that the Wii U version needed to be the MET version as even the PS3 at least has access to the second game. 2) Almost same reason as the first in that not experiencing the first 2 games really hampers a person experience when playing the 3rd. Was an issue with players picking up ME2 for ps3, having not played the 1st, so again, Wii U version really should have been a trilogy. 3) This is pretty much the only crown left, but it will feel like you are missing something. That said, most of the potential buyers for ME3 on Wii U would have come from this section. Either way, EA are just taking advantage of consumers whom do not know of the ME3 universe, how it works, and it's availability on the consoles and pc. EDIT: To be more on topic though: 1. Was never going to buy it as I have the PC versions and care about the decisions I made carrying onto the next game. 2. IF I had been planning to get it, this would have totally changed my mind, and would have made me buy it on the PC or PS3 as I do care about the value I am getting for the cash I spend. 3. Personally I am confused as to the point of such a venture from a business point of view, unless EA plan to release a trilogy of the games in the future for the Wii U, depending on how well ME3 sells. Either way, they are taking advantage of consumers as I outlined above.

Seems like there is going to be in-game friends lists just like the wii, rather than a friend list incorporated from the wii u OS ala ps360. This does not please me so I hope I am wrong...

IMO the siren was borderline broken/god mode in the first game. Specced right, enemies couldn't touch you, and if they did, phasewalking was always there to save your butt, plus it had a pretty short cooldown which could also be shortened, again by speccing right. And on top of that, the melee potential in phasewalking was fantastic along with the speed of the ground that you could cover and there was also a shockwave all decimating foes. It was pretty much the most useful and awesome skill in the game. No way the other's came even close, apart from possibly Mordecai's bloodwing.

Ah that's good. Not gotten that far due to commitments but really enjoying it so far. Just one extra person and the shit hits the fan with enemy amounts and such.

Agreed the slim is an eyesore and this is a much nicer looking machine...though I prefer it upright :p Wish I had this instead of the slim which I bought earlier in the year but oh well.

Just had a rather interesting thought, Bayonetta could be in the next smash bros game.

Think you should add a category for Best Gameplay. Something that challenged and rewarded through the game mechanics, in equal measure, to produce untold amounts of fun. To some, my choice maybe obvious.

I started my post saying my faith was only somewhat restored, and that I am trying to be cautious, but really all that has happened is that Nintendo have made some initial choices that have caught my interest, and made me more willing to gamble on another console. I guess that is the extent of my 'faith'.

Loving just exploring in the game but the last time I did so, I had killed the boss in the depths getting the key to Blighttown (yay? probably nay ) and I went off to explore some bits I missed and ended up getting cursed by the second to last basilisk. Rage quit shortly after. Anyways, thanks to the modding community fps has been unlocked in the game but has issues: Steam forums thread on 60fps Texture edits are available thanks to the latest patch of Dsfix from Durante. I think this one is a particular winner: And I think the steam community has really taken to this game like a moth to a flame. Wii tablet working with my ps3...hmm....

Bought the limited edition on release. Completed it before they patched out the issues on ps3 on normal. Loved it. Still play it in fact when I have time. Reminds me of the best bits of the DMC series (before DmC of course) as it should.

NO WAY MAN! Last time I played Tri, I couldn't get a single mission done because there were so many people carting and failing the mission for the rest of us. Being afraid for a member of the team is very stressful lol.

So who is gonna take a bet that MH3U, upon release, will be available in a tidy Wii U bundle? That will sort me out very nicely indeed.

But one you thing you should see is that they are making a concerted effort to learn and adapt from their mistakes of the past. Granted they haven't totally learnt (AFAIK the wii u doesn't play DVDs or Blu Rays so you will have need of another appliance under the TV). TVii seems intriguing, if it eventually works with Sky they are definitely onto a winner over here. Supporting third parties that actually make critically acclaimed games. A PSN/LIVE sort of network. Integrated web browser. No/limited use of friend codes (not sure about this but not seen it mentioned). Bloody HD nintendo games finally. System specs that make sense. There is alot to look at and nod your head in agreement of Ninty's view on what the consumer actually needs.

You know what, we discussed this at the time and yeah, your right it's the wii speak thing. Annoying as I didn't even get the damn thing. EDIT: Meant western instead of Europe but meh. Was still wrong overall. That said, does Wii speak work with the Wii U?
