  1. After waiting half the day to download, install and patch this game as well as sign up, I accidentally uninstalled the game...
  2. Just 'properly' finished this game. Fave of this gen so far, even with it's flaws it's a diamond in the rough. Thoroughly enjoyable and really highly anticipating a sequel. It's a shame the dlc is typical uninspired capcom bilge though.
  3. I really want to play this...but this is exactly what I DONT want to go thru.
  4. I doubt it. Alot of anime fighting games have an 'All Star' moniker on the end of their names. Seems like a standard fighter buuuut it is made by the same guys that make the naruto ultimate ninja storm games so will generally follow this quietly as this is one of the more...unique anime series.
  5. Ah cool! I was just throwing it out there but thanks for giving the game a try!
  6. I still haven't completed it because the chapter I am on scares the hell out of me. As soon as I start, there is a rather nasty enemy round the corner that chopped my head off last time
  7. Dead space and Halo are two very different games though. One is about suspense, the other is about filling aliens with bullets. They both have stories, shooting and action, but how the convey them is what separates them.
  8. My fear isn't the co-op but what has been shoehorned in to accommodate the feature. Unless you take a completely different path through the game than you would with a partner, playing single player will feel like you are playing with a missing component. It is highly likely that there will either be areas that cant be progressed without a partner so you miss out on them completely, or the game has been designed to be more about action and shooting rather than one of investigation and survival.
  9. So effectively what you are saying is that you should have just kept the ps3 copy of Dragons Dogma :P Seriously though you should have . If you don't like screen tearing, unfortunately Dragons Dogma has some of that on 360 while ps3 version doesn't but gets pretty bad slowdown in busy points, which is apparently more than what occurs on the 360 Seems the older franchises of Capcom such as Resi and DMC have suffered in efforts to 'modernise/westernise' them while their new IPs are proving more compelling.
  10. Think I will get negatives out of the way first. So biggest disappointment...Has to be multiple really. Bioshock getting delayed, Guild Wars 2 looking like a game I don't want anymore, Tera being run by fools, Dead Space 3 looking to be designed around co-op, Diablo 3 only really keeping my attention for about 2 days and...that's it. Some of those disappointments are huge though as there was alot of patience and waiting involved... Now onto the good stuff. Favourite game this year WAS Mass Effect 3 for stellar singleplayer (99% of it anyways) and multiplayer which has been a riot with friends. Really suprised that I like the MP so much because it has alot of design issues that make me want to tear my hair out. Battlefield 3 has been fantastic with the patches and expansions. Really looking forward to whats coming. And Dragons Dogma IS my current fave game so far. A real surprise hit. Only wish more people on my friends list had it. Still looking forward to Darksiders 2. LOOOOOVED the first game. Anticipating great things. Borderlands 2, just need to decide what format. Dark Souls for PC. Need for Speed: Burnout Paradise 2 with autobook. Oh and almost forgot Playstation plus. They have had some great offers already and can't wait to see what is coming further down the line.
  11. When does ps+ get updated? I have a sneaky suspicion it's on the Wednesday when I am always out. I NEED FFVI in my life again and have been waiting for this sort of deal. Will get VIII and IX too (got VII on disc but dont much like it anyways) and possibly front mission 3 as I never finished it. Oh and chime is awesome. Can see myself getting addicted to that. More people need to try out virtua fighter 5. It's an awesome 3d beat-em-up and probably my favourite of them all.
  12. I actually enjoyed the demo and am looking to pick it up when it is nice and super cheap. Was waiting for a gaming drought too but that doesn't seem to be coming anytime soon....
  13. That's good if true, and for about £50 (if you take into account, the price of the move controller sold on it's own) it's a good contender against the premium steering wheels.
  14. Playstation move wheel At first, I thought that it looked like garbage. But after actually watching the video, it's an impressive bit of tech and a far cry from the pretty basic 'Wii Wheel' which was just a housing for the Wii Remote with some very nice features. One little worry I have is that, is all the added functionality necessary and will there be enough games to support it?
  15. After that vid, I am so gonna get this and crush you into oblivion @Cookyman :awesome:
  16. So no Metal Gear Solid HD collection for ps3? Cos really, out of that lot, that's all I would want/need. Bioshock and Uncharted have already been played Still good deals I suppose.
  17. Thanks cube. Will need to see for myself but general impression
  18. Yeah that was my initial plan. It seems like the weapon packs aren't worth much at the moment either.
  19. Yeah Arya turned out really really well lol. Im still only lv 24 and she is 31 so she will be with me for a while longer yet. And I hate to draw comparisons with skyrim, but as a fellow open world medieval type action adventure game, the action in skyrim is lacking to the point where it feels lazy. I mean really, it hasn't moved on far from oblivion, which even then was lacking at the time haha. Anyways, been checking out the store and there is there are some dlc quests available. Anyone know if there are worth getting and how hard they are?
  20. I have had this game for just about 24 hours. If I wasn't watching the football, I would be playing the game now. Surprised at how much I am enjoying it, considering there were other games I was anticipating more, but they failed to entice me, such as Diablo III. If anyone is on the fence about this game, visit youtube and watch an episode of a playthru. Pretty much made my decision for me. @Aimless would you mind if I add you on PSN? Would like to see what your pawn is like.
  21. Really really enjoying this. Has a sort of "just a few more kills and then Ill take a break" sorta feel to it as the combat is great, ai responsive and smart, online implementation reminiscent of Demon Souls and just generally lots of fun. It's also got a nice bit of challenge in the game so listening to the constant advice that you are given is wise, such as being prepared before heading out, especially if you are travelling by night. EDIT: Oh yeah @Pit\-Jr you're Arya pawn is awesome lol. So damn cocky but a handy pawn to have around. Think I have given her some knowledge on some quests and monsters but that's it lol. Think i was able to hire her for free because you are on my friends list.
  22. And I was just recently contemplating whether to get the ps2 or wii version just recently. Now I can just wait for this. Hopefully will be tied in with ps+
  23. If you get the Reegar to X weight becomes a non-issue as it's lighter than most of the other really good shotguns like the Graal and GPS. If you know the maps well, you can just run around the map, killing enemies and running to a nearby ammo box, and not have a second weapon. There will be times you run out of ammo, but I generally tend to use the weapon on a class that doesn't mind getting in close like a Krogan Vanguard, so if I do run out, can just use powers and melee. As for gold, it's much easier with friends, yes, but I often do it with randoms which gives the game a sort of extra excitement in that you really cant tell how you are going to do. Although it can be equally frustrating when your teammates are terribad.
  24. Gun is next to ridiculous on gold, just got to manage the lack of ammunition and the extremely short range very well.
  25. Playing through 1 and 2, at no point did I ever think that I wanted another player in there. The whole part of why I find the damn games so scary is because of that solitary confinement feeling the game is based around.
