IMO I think Jet Set Radio Future is one of these games. No other game has had me turn it on just to listen to the music (maybe street fighter III third strike) and no other game has had me want to buy the soundtrack. Excellent mix of J-POP (stuff worth listening to), house, drum and beats (this right?) and even a little rap thrown in. I think i bought an xbox for this game (when it was dying of course). so what floats your boat waits for the barrage of anime and rpg music

Yet I have never heard anything about it and it reminds me so much of one of my fave games, Vagrant Story. If it is halfway decent, this and Oboro are heading straight into my collections. EDIT: Screwed up massively on title of thread. Just wanted to know if anyone had any new info on these upcoming wii titles.

The competitions could be regional, or they could be global, meaning that it would be fairer to let the americans join in before they start rolling them out. Although in both cases it may be fairer to do this, i dunno.

Nah it wasnt the PS2 graphics that put me off (apart from manhunt 2), but in godfather, I read somewhere that the cars were REALLY slow. Although that may have been another mafia game set in the same period. And then I tend to hate games with weapons which are not modern, for example WWII games. Gun games for me need to be modern or futuristic. Plus they are the type of games I probably wont finish. San Andreas I didn't finish because towards the end, it became more of a chore than fun. Oh and they really dont stand up to the games I am playing now, or plan to complete sometime soon like Jet Set Radio Future (loving the music), KOTOR, (got an xbox when it was in its deathroes), Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay, Mario Kart and Pro Evo. Bah I have way more to play than these but these are on my immediate to do list.

Pfft, lost half a stone in half that time. Although, makes me wonder how much more I could have lost with wii fit in there too.

Im not made of money! Plus I am trying to get something else that is pretty rare at the moment, and may have to break the bank for that, but it should sell preeeety well in the future if I do get it. Ugh so bored from coursework what the hell?! Where is the comedy in that?! Looks entertaining though. Probably haunt for a good few months Bus 56 stops right outside that place. Be warned, there is only 1 screen (as if that matters) which is a little on the small side compared to places like VUE, and the adverts before the film are ancient (a little weird to me anyways). They were probably made before you were born, as was the picture house. Nice place though. Got that rustic authentic feel to it.

To put it simply, sheik has greater offence in comboing and speed while zelda has greater defence in superior KO attacks (kill before getting killed), defensive techniques and a greater recovery move. it's up to you to use their attributes effectively. That's what Sakurai and his chums had in mind.

Scarface is a maybe if I am really desperate but godfather...nah. And when i go for fighter's I go for the cream of the crop, the real good technical stuff like Virtua Fighter 5

Some of those mature games are really unispiring in that some are ports that didn't interest me the first time round (godfather, scareface, mortal kombat(?)) while others are just plain turd looking (obscure, manhunt). IMO Wii > GC. Fresh gaming experiences for all and return to form for some franchises (mario sunshine and mario kart DD are royally superceded by the wii incarnations). Thing is we are talking about which is better when the console has just started its reign at the top, which should be noted, is something the last two gens of consoles never achieved despite their library of games. Give it some time and we shall probably see the games that will entice wii gamers.

I think Deus Ex (first one) had an amazing story too, although nostalgia maybe clouding my judgement, but I am pretty sure that I was genuinely intrigued by the twists and turns of the plot. Most, if not all that has been mentioned has been worthy, especially SotC which still leaves that sad creepy feeling in my stomache when i remember it. Epic ending. MGS3 hasnt been mentioned for some reason i think.

Why not knock away the opponent, transform while they recover, then finish them off. And Zelda is a beast in one on one, but a bit weak when it comes to mulitple opponents in melee imo.

Wasn't it done this way so that people would use zelda more as pretty much any of her smash attacks would finish you in melee, if connected properly with that is.

Got to remember, its innovation but not just in the games market. Nintendo are pretty much games only, while it's competitors Sony and Microsoft have their fingers in a lot of other pies. [Here is where I provide facts if I truly want to prove my point but im too lazy and really should be working right now so cant you just take my word for it :P]

Do you not have a WEP key or anything of the sort? If not then people could be 'borrowing' your internet, slowing your connection speed and making it difficult for the wii to do it's stuff online. I experienced this as I was forced to 'borrow' for very short while and the wii struggled to do the simplest things. It's also important to have security as people could potentially see your internet activity, so if you shop online, you are open to fraud and financial theft. Using the router settings, make sure a WEP key exists to make sure people don't abuse your internet. :awesome: May fix your wii problem but I doubt it. All I can say is, that you may need to update the firmware in your wii, as mine didnt work initially with one router i have had IIRC, but after an update, it works fine. Sadly my DS does not work at all with any of my routers.
