I need muchos help with this design I have to come up with! Basically The Royal Festival Hall in London is putting on a series of concerts about World Music (Roots/Jazz). And I need to come up with a poster and logo design to promote it. So was wondering does anybody here listen to or know about any World Music artists I could look up?

Yeah completely agree, as exciting as another Bioware developed SW game sounds I'm just not a fan of MMO's. I mean even a smaller scale PSO type game would've been preferable. With a decent single player of course.

Bioware are back with their new pet project! http://uk.pc.ign.com/articles/922/922115p1.html Any KOTOR fans here?

Either way, Debbie McGee FTW.

Well I think the character models surpass Crysis and the landscapes are more interesting than another tropical island.

I read the PC Gamer review, they gave it 94% (and they gave Crysis Warzone only 60%!) and pretty much said it was frikkin' amazing. I will pick this up on the 360 in due time.

It looks like a free flash game. I'm not doubting its brilliance though.

Oh dear lord that's looking absolutely sublime, and it's out this year right? Right? . . . . . . RIGHT?

That doesn't stop the Japanese segment from being long/drawn out/pointless etc.

I haven't seen 21 Grams but I found Babel dragging in places with a rather unnecessary story in Japan. I'll watch it eventually at least then I can say I've seen Alejandro González Iñárritu's 'trilogy'.

I think this game looks fantastic. I love atmospheric sci-fi stuff and this nails it I think. It's been getting great reviews, 9.0 at GS and 8.5 at IGN.

So it's faithful and a good film to boot?! I seriously can't wait. I know there's like no blood/swearing or anything but I'm still curious as to how they've pulled it off.

Starship Troopers 3 How the hell did they make this so unbelievably shit, they had a $20 million budget that's a substantial amount of money. They've tried to go back to what made the original unique but failed failed failed. The recruitment advertising makes a return but is over used and becomes a sort of self parody. Ricco's barely a supporting character, we spend most of our time with a group of 'actors' prancing around a desert discussing religion, with barely any action, gore and well.. fun. It's boring, plain and simple. Don't bother. 2/10

Silly question but basically I used to be addicted to GS points. Now that I've started uni for the final year (and passed the 40,000 mark). I am ridding myself of this addiction and was wondering if there was a way one could rid the score and even stop from receiving any future points from games. Bit of a stretch but thought there might have been some option.

OK I think we'll just end up going round in circles here. I can say that the music Haggis enjoys I believe to be utter tripe (which I do, sorry) where as I find both Coldplay and Keane produce fantastic music but that won't get us anywhere.

Just picked up Perfect Symmetry by Keane. I was little doubtful with Spiralling it sounded a bit Killers (who I'm not fond of so much), but the rest of the album is more reminiscent of David Bowie or New Order . There are a few songs that are more of their old sound, the actual song Perfect Symmetry is a good example of this. I'm glad thy haven't strayed far from their piano-rock roots because I feel that was their sort of USP. Tom's vocals are, unsurprisingly, beautiful.

I've just realised I'm not even a member lolz. This will take some time but I won't give up so easily. EDIT: They've run out of keys!!! there must be somewhere else I can obtain these important relics.

Yeah I agree it is an interesting film. A Scanner Darkly pretty much perfected the style but that film was a snooze fest. This tested my patience but I was moderately rewarded.

Rare's ability to anthropomorphise still ceases to amaze!

Star Wars is not like those that you mentioned, it's much more accessible and I believe has far more engaging characters that would appeal to a non sci-fi fan. Just get a copy of A New Hope and try it out! (my above statement mostly applies to the original trilogy)
