  1. My problem with these movies are, why bother CGing the whole thing when you could just as easily make a great live-action movie on the same budget? Look at Advent Children, some of the most realistic animation I've seen, but why not share some of that surely enormous budget around and scout out a decent set of actors and SFX artists instead?
  2. Ouch, unlucky Moogle. Hope you don't have your arms plastered up for too long. That's gonna get itchy.
  3. Should be better then the live action Hollywood crap at least. The title is absurd though. "Degeneration?" Really?
  4. A couple of people have a double vote clearly.
  5. Doh, I'm almost disappointed.
  6. Hold the phone, what's going on? How does 14 names = seventeen votes, and why does Eenuh's vote go under my name? Simple GM mistakes, or something more sinister altogether?
  7. Well, unless anyone has anything else, Vote: Nobody
  8. Why the odd posting, Jayseven?
  9. gaggle64 is not Brian Mcoy. gaggele64 was just trying to illustrate a point. gaggle64 would like to be Brian Mcoy though.
  10. gaggle64 is wondering if Brian McCoy was the man at the front door. gaggle64 wonders what the man was offering. gaggle64 is trying to find out if Billy Dee has ever played a man who talks in third person. gaggle64 has not played C&C3. gaggle64 prefers Dawn of War.
  11. So who was taken hostage? What are the demands? Do we know?
  12. Last time I was in London the buses were just fine, and from what I hear have been somewhat improved since, so there are options for cross-city travel. I agree though, tube is the best way to go, you can get almost anywhere in twenty minutes. They can be a bit cramped, especially during rush hour, but if you have lunch and then hit the tubes at two once they've empted slightly, you'll do all right.
  13. In some parts of London, restaurants eat at you. I can't recall anywhere specific, but you'll have no trouble finding somewhere to have lunch, let me assure you.
  14. My day has followed a piece of string winding it's way out of a maze. Unfortunately, I have somehow lost it.
  15. A big TV helps, yah, but a smaller one will do just fine. I do well enough on my little 15" combo anyway.
  16. Happy Birthday Letty! You kids have fun!
  17. I shall also be rooting for my old rivals, Creamola. Thumbing the two top teams in the eye in the last round would be funny as hell.
  18. Come on Snikbah! Bring me that Xmas miracle! I need at least a draw form you!
  19. - Finally driven to distraction by flatmates, but have own sweet pad now (need job now) -Moving upwards and onwards at my course, really getting into things now -... not a lot else really. I need to start finding new avenues of various types next year.
  20. Hmmm. One of my best players out for the count, but everything else is holding up better then usual. Lets see if I can't go out on a high. Still got it all to play for. You've got a good chance of taking fourth away from me if you can beat Hadens. As predicted, we both have opportunities to cause some pretty major upsets.
  21. Medieval Eskimo History?
  22. Top man. The BBC News site is my best friend when researching these kinds of issues - simple articles that give you the basic facts.
  23. It depends on when you feel that child is fully responsible for his or her own actions. Fourteen seems fair, ten I would say is far too low. In the above example, I would certainly surmise that eleven is too young to face the death penalty in an adult court. I would hope an extensive rehabilitation programme was made available to her. Also, I'm not sure how balanced that site you're looking at is. The article seems a tad emotionally charged and determined to reach it's own conclusions, to say the least. Best stick to well known vetted sites and sources like the BBC and Reuters if I were you.
  24. This is an amazing waste of time. Go men, go!
  25. Good luck everyone, see you on the other side! Vote: Nobody (The title makes it sound like a battle at B&Q. )
