  1. It's the fact that clear penalties are hard to come by at Old Trafford, you can't say that decisions like the one against Middlesbrough aren't seen much at Old Trafford, because through the years, plenty haven't been given when it's easy to see that they are definate penalties!
  2. Yet recently he's been vunerable and also at fault to a couple goals! And the United Pen stat is a total of 5 pens awarded to the away team at Old Trafford since the Premiership began... or something like that!
  3. Yeah, this'll be pretty much a given for me too... and by solid controls I mean solid motion controls... of some sort, kinda like what me and Nando were talking about.
  4. I think the only reason he didn't is because he switched to so many different roles during the course of the season, also, I can't argue with United's midfield being all in there, they've been fantastic. Van Der Sar being in team of the year is beyond me, it's a joke! David James should easily have been in it! I'd even have Cech above Van Der Sar even though he missed 3 months of the season!
  5. I loved E3, it was my Xmas!
  6. Yes he still can, especially when they're blatant stone-wall pens! I see he's half retracted his statement about the "penalty" we should have had last night...still, he's right in saying the ref still got it wrong as it was still a clear handball, just outside the box.
  7. I don't actually mean giving the 3rd party devs money directly, but using the money for Nintendo's own representatives to actually go to the 3rd parties and give input to the games. It'd make the outcome of games much better if Nintendo have a little more input into games themselves, by this I mean input toward the utilistion of the Wiimote! Say for instance if Nintendo sent out a couple of their own devs to work with Ubisoft and give their input into how to use and code for the Wiimote, I don't believe Ubisofts games would have been such a poor showing!
  8. Agreed, makes sense... and I'm still really enjoying WiiSports, Excite Truck and SSX Blur with my mates... not to mention my Cube games too! I'd like to see the money go into resource for helping 3rd party devs with their projects (Ubisoft comes to mind) to give them a better idea of how to utilise the Wiimote!
  9. I blame work for slowly deteriorating my mind to the point where I cannot think of simple solutions such as this! haha Like Henry, I've never played Guitar Hero (even though I own both a PS2 & Xbox) so I think I'll be picking this one up!
  10. I can't agree more! He's been immense for us this season! Given 100% in every role that's been asked of him and he's performed in those roles too!

    FTW

You've never laughed out of a window?! ...it's by far the best place to laugh!
  12. That mock-up guitar controller from IGN... how'd you get the Wiimote in/out of it... wouldn't seem very easy considering how the port on the Wiimote needs something sliding into it a certain amount!
  13. Mourinho does it simply to take focus off his players, Fergie has spent years doing it, Wenger has too, all the great managers do. When Chelsea play badly, Mourinho makes a stupid comment so that everyone will focus on that as opposed to pointing out the way the team played... and it works a lot! He's a fantastic manager and one the Premiership shouldn't be without! ...and regarding the match, glad we kept a clean sheet, I think we should've taken one of our other chances but still, seemed a fair result I guess. I just hope we get an early goal at Anfield as that'd really dent Liverpool's chances... although they are fantastic at home! Tie's not over by a long-shot!
  14. I hadn't played it so I can't really comment! I could add plenty others though, just really can't be bothered!
  15. I've gotta agree with this, Pro Evo is the best Football game, but not the best Sports game.
  16. Japan will snatch this up I imagine! Doesn't matter if it's good or not considering how the PS3 Gundam game sold as that was apparently awful! I've never watched any of the Gundam animes but I hear they're decent!
  17. I think combining your idea into the control setup I suggested would suit me fine! This would also free up the Dpad for on the field tactical changes...?
  18. I like this idea I must say!
  19. To quote myself from another thread, I'd quite like controls something like this... Nunchuk setup: Analogue stick - Player movement Nunchuk movement - Shoulder barge C Button - Button modifier (like L1 on the PS Pro Evo games) Z Button - Sprint A Button - Pass/Standing tackle (off the ball) B Button - Shoot/Sliding tackle (off the ball) D Pad Down - Through ball/Pressurize (off the ball) D Pad Left/Right - Chip/Lob Maybe even the Pointer (just a little thought) - Off the ball movement. The pointer could be used to highlight an off the ball player by pointing at him and holding C, you could then move the selected player independantly to the player you're controlling with the analogue stick, by "dragging" him with the pointer while holding C
  20. Great game that was last night... 2 fantastic Kaka goals but equal to them was the vision of Paul Scholes! What a pass it was that lead to your equaliser! The game definately changed when Gattuso got subbed off, Milan's midfield just opened up and allowed Scholes and Carrick to see the ball and control the tempo. No more "lucky last mintue Chelsea goal" quotes I hope now!
  21. I understand to an extent what you're saying, but Resident Evil 4 is a very different game than this... I've played through RE4 about 4 or 5 times and enjoyed it thoroughly each time as you don't have to play it exactly the same way you did before (different weapons etc). I'm just worried that after completing this, when coming to replay it, the game is identical to when you last played it.
  22. Awesome! I need this!
  23. I traded MGS in at gamestation for store credit just before the Wii came out... I got £30 for it! Result!
  24. This is the only part of the game that pisses me off! Feels great beating the bugger though!
  25. The only challenging race is on Peak 3... don't get me wrong, I can finish first, just occasionally I get pipped on the line... I'm not saying it's difficult, far from it infact, just nowhere near as easy as the scoring events! I think they're TOO easy... like I have absolutely no problem doubling the scores.
