Great update, not fussed over lack of multiplayer... as I've said in an earlier post, if the control really is as spot on as people say it is, then I hope for an online FPS of the same calibur some time in the short future (nothing to do with Metroid mind)!

This game NEEDS online! ...well, ok it doesn't... but it sure would be great with it!!!

Although this would be awesome, I'm not a fan of it... I'd like to think that, as Samus, I'm alone in this and solving this by myself... being a bounty hunter - This bounty is MINE!

If MP3's controls do turn out to be fantastic, I sure hope that there's an FPS with these controls and online being made by Nintendo! Otherwise, MP is all about single-player experience... although I wouldn't complain if a multiplayer was executed well!

I'm not too impressed at all thus far... I'll keep waiting to see how it progresses though!

The thing I loved about the Metroid Prime games is the level of immersion they created! All the goodness of Super Metroid but in 3D and with such a level of immersion... it really was, for me, the defining game of last generation! No other game came close to it, not even the immensely brilliant Res Evil 4!!! With the controls of the Wii I can quite possibly see MP3C making it into my list of favourite games ever... ...right in at the number 1 spot!!!

I'm not getting Gears of War with my 360 this weekend... I don't think it's that good a game, I've completed it, played it online plenty, I'm pretty decent at it... but I just don't think it's a decent game!

Zelda......... and either SSX Blur or Excite Truck (I'd go with Blur, although some people don't like getting used to the controls).

I'm quite looking forward to this one too! I didn't play the first as a result of it lacking multiplayer, knowing I'd be getting the sequel... from what I've seen of it, this game looks great! In my top ten wanted list!

I'm looking for a new job, currently with Shell working in logistics in their Marine department, been here 14 months now... decent enough job, but they're outsourcing to Manilla next year and my contract with them only runs until March '08, so I think I'll start to look for a new job now... ...not sure what to go for though! Hmmm...

I think that is a fantastic post tapedeck! I'd say I do agree, I'm so happy that the Wii is the way it is, I'm not fussed about HD, Twilight Princess is one of the most beautiful games I've ever laid my eyes upon! Artistic direction is the way forward!

So I checked out your link and saw that it says about the Interton VC4000 having an analogue stick. However, it also states in the paragraph prior to that, that an analgue stick is sometimes confused with a joystick... I then go to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Interton_VC_4000 and see that the pad consists of a 12-key keypad, 2 fire buttons and a joystick I don't really care if I'm wrong, but you had said that I had said Nintendo invented the analgue stick whereas I was simply referring to them bringing it into console gaming... granted, if they weren't the first to introduce it, they certainly were first to make it mainstream... which is still more than Microsoft have done with Xbox Live (which was the only point I was making)! ...sorry if I sound like I've gone on some mad defensive rant there, I've not meant to, just that you said I was implying something that I totally wasn't!

Nobody said Nintendo "invented" the analogue stick! I said they brought it into console gaming... nobody was implying anything of the sort!

I can't agree with this... Analogue stick... that alone is more than Xbox Live or any other feature Microsoft have brought to the console market! I don't believe any of the companies are holding the industry back either, look at the industry, it's absolutely booming just now!
