  1. So good. So, so good!
  2. I'm not sure but I've already done it. It's not good enough for me to run through again.
  3. Yeah I played the last one, but I chose before it started so I wasn't sure if you could just not pick a side and then still pick the other game modes and game with friends normally. I'm not fussed about the sea snails. I've got the majority of gear I want, there's not much more I'd get so I don't feel I need anymore. Also, you can just use money anyway. I just hate how restrictive the game becomes when the Splatfest is on. Can only play the one game mode and you can't play with friends... it's shit.
  4. I wonder, if you don't join the Splatfest can you play as normal or are you forced to play the Splatfest..? Ideally I'd not want to play because it's crap at how much you're restricted by the game. Unless they change the makeup of Splatfests as a whole I'd rather they didn't do them.
  5. Yeah, I played a few games last night and with lag and my general frustrations with the game it just felt completely flat. I think I'll put other games on and get back into this after the big update. The game has waned on me now. It's such a shame, this game could, and should, have been so much better!
  6. I'd say it sits as equal parts of fun and frustration with me at the moment. With the august update I'd imagine I'll enjoy it a lot more. I do switch it up and play with a variety of weapons (I always do on shooters) so I've used a lot of them so far... which also means I'm low on cash as I've bought a fair few, haha. Dependant on how I feel like playing the game I'll change weapons. I may well use everything from a charger to a blaster, the burst-fire gun to a roller in an evening... but there's something about the brush I really enjoy. I think its the risk of having to get up close and really hammer your opponent to splat them. It's ink coverage is fantastic too so you'll always do well with it. I tend to not get much coverage when using the chargers but I do focus more on splatting and locking down choke-points.
  7. Everything is so much more difficult without voice-chat!
  8. I thought about watching the original too. I'm really liking it, I don't think it's lost anything as of yet and is still great, so I'm hoping it doesn't drop off too.
  9. I wholeheartedly agree. It's my favourite weapon to use (it's so much fun) but I'd like to switch things up with it like you can with other weapons. Even just a 3rd in the rotation would help. That they had 3 in for the Splatfest but then reverted back to 2 is so annoying! Another huge gripe of mine. Why they've decided to make the game so restrictive is beyond me. They're hopeless sometimes. They also desperately need to give us some slots where we can save different loadouts to change to whilst in the lobby. Nintendo took a few steps forward in creating this new franchise but then immediately they take a couple steps backwards by botching the options/functions within the game. It's far too restrictive and thin on content for a multiplayer game.
  10. I hope the hunts have gone well guys. Next time there's room give me a shout.
  11. I'm going to the gym after work tonight and then I'll eat after that so I may be on late-ish if others are.
  12. I'm still to pick up Bloodborne, Batman & The Witcher and then I'll be getting: Until Dawn Tearaway Unfolded Uncharted Collection Rainbow Six Siege Star Wars Battlefront
  13. The Splatfest is something I'll not bother with again. It's awfully done. I don't want anymore of them.
  14. I've just had a match, me vs 4... yeah, that's fair! So I thought sod it, I'll stay on the spawn point. Sure, I lost, but my K/D was 9 for 0. Haha... granted I was invincible.
  15. I am so drunk right now but I playing!
  16. I just don't see Nintendo making a console that will ever sell well anymore. I for think they'll capture success like they did with the Wii again. The expanded market is gone. All they have left is there hardcore fanbase. Their next console won't sell as well as the WiiU unless they address glaring issues regarding online and social aspects. Their fanbase will keep getting smaller unless they try to win some of it back.
  17. So you can only play the Splatfest in multiplayer whilst it's running...
  18. The silly mistake they made with the motion controls is not being able to move through the Y axis with the analogue too. Ideally they should allow for customisable controls. If I could use full dual analogue as well as motion control for ever so slight refinements, that'd be perfect.
  19. I think you posted it in the wrong thread because I posted this in that thread in error too... I gave Ranked Battles a little go earlier. I had 5 games, won 4 and lost 1. On the one we lost, I scored loads and killed plenty but not a single other person on my team got a kill and they all scored really lowly... urgh.
  20. Ok so after having posted that I couldn't resist and went and cooked myself some steak for lunch! Haha Ok, but what's your point in saying that? It doesn't stop CoD being good. We've seen thousands of Mario's but it doesn't stop them being good. Don't get me wrong though, I'd recommend Splatoon too, but it's just if someone was to look for a shooter I'd go for BO2 of the two.
  21. You must have JavaScript enabled on your device to view Miiverse posts that have been embedded in a website. View post in Miiverse Good run speed for quick escapes through ink as well as closing the gap for a splattering. Handy for chasing down Rollers. Ink Saver on my Main and Sub, as well as Special Saver and Ink Replenishment skills in there. I think it's decent enough.
  22. @Ronnie, A link Between Worlds was amazing, they can still make great Zelda's on the handheld. Also, given how it's put out OoT & MM remakes, they could still easily do a proper 3D Zelda game too.
  23. As generic as it is Ronnie, I still think it's a much better package than Splatoon, if someone wants a shooter for the WiiU I'd point them at BO2. Also, I find it funny how you point out that we've seen these types of games thousands of times yet you're actually yet to play one. It's like saying I've seen thousands of people have steak but I won't ever have one because so many others do. It's just generic. Whereas a steak is a nice dish!
