The Splatfest is something I'll not bother with again. It's awfully done. I don't want anymore of them.

I've just had a match, me vs 4... yeah, that's fair! So I thought sod it, I'll stay on the spawn point. Sure, I lost, but my K/D was 9 for 0. Haha... granted I was invincible.

I just don't see Nintendo making a console that will ever sell well anymore. I for think they'll capture success like they did with the Wii again. The expanded market is gone. All they have left is there hardcore fanbase. Their next console won't sell as well as the WiiU unless they address glaring issues regarding online and social aspects. Their fanbase will keep getting smaller unless they try to win some of it back.

So you can only play the Splatfest in multiplayer whilst it's running...

The silly mistake they made with the motion controls is not being able to move through the Y axis with the analogue too. Ideally they should allow for customisable controls. If I could use full dual analogue as well as motion control for ever so slight refinements, that'd be perfect.

I think you posted it in the wrong thread because I posted this in that thread in error too... I gave Ranked Battles a little go earlier. I had 5 games, won 4 and lost 1. On the one we lost, I scored loads and killed plenty but not a single other person on my team got a kill and they all scored really lowly... urgh.

Ok so after having posted that I couldn't resist and went and cooked myself some steak for lunch! Haha Ok, but what's your point in saying that? It doesn't stop CoD being good. We've seen thousands of Mario's but it doesn't stop them being good. Don't get me wrong though, I'd recommend Splatoon too, but it's just if someone was to look for a shooter I'd go for BO2 of the two.

Ink Saver on my Main and Sub, as well as Special Saver and Ink Replenishment skills in there. I think it's decent enough.

@Ronnie, A link Between Worlds was amazing, they can still make great Zelda's on the handheld. Also, given how it's put out OoT & MM remakes, they could still easily do a proper 3D Zelda game too.

As generic as it is Ronnie, I still think it's a much better package than Splatoon, if someone wants a shooter for the WiiU I'd point them at BO2. Also, I find it funny how you point out that we've seen these types of games thousands of times yet you're actually yet to play one. It's like saying I've seen thousands of people have steak but I won't ever have one because so many others do. It's just generic. Whereas a steak is a nice dish!

It's old tech but decent enough for a handheld in my eyes. There's nothing wrong with the WiiU's power but it's architecture is so different than the other consoles it'll never get 3rd Party support and Nintendo aren't putting out big games at a high enough rate to support it well enough. Then there's the fact it lacks any decent social features like creating parties with your friends and party chat. It's too lacking as a home console.

As far as Splatoon goes, I'd not say it's a must-have. Overall I prefer CoD Black Ops 2 as far as a shooter goes and would recommend that over Splatoon.

I want the NX to be a home console. I feel the 3DS has more to give than the WiiU does.

I didn't think much of Naruto Gaiden at all, thought it was a bit pants really. One Piece however...

I'd take amazing dungeons/boss's over NPC's any day! The dungeons are what make the games! Although Midna was by far the best NPC yet, head and shoulders above any other. I'd like another NPC like her.

In it's current state it's a 7 at best for me too. It does some things well but too many things poorly.

So of 3 game modes you can only play 1 with friends... Nintendo are fucking awful at multiplayer these days. They used to be king of multiplayer. This game should, and could (quite easily I'll add), be sooooo much better!

This is the big thing for me, Link's animation in the last two games was so rigid it just didn't look right. It broke the immersion the games had. If you compare the way Link moves to how characters in other games do, it looks so bad! They really should start doing some mo-cap for Zelda.

To be fair, Reggie himself is a PR disaster. I'm happy with my New 3DS. I bought it purely for MH4U, not for any exclusivity so it doesn't bother me.

It's as big as their "launch window" was.

It'd be better if you could create a party with a group of friends online and the join worldwide races like you could on MKWii. Why they took that option out for MK8 is beyond me. Also, if you could chat to your friends whilst racing, it'd make it more fun as it'd be more social. I hope the next console embraces online and that Nintendo's attitude toward it and it's social aspects becomes more open. In regards to console power, it should be in the same ball-park as the competition but it needn't be as powerful. I agree there... but only if the architecture is similar so that 3rd Parties can port over for little cost. I know you said people don't buy Nintendo consoles for 3rd Party games but Nintendo fans do but other consoles for them. I'd much prefer it if I'd only have to buy 1 console to play the games I want... and I reckon Nintendo want me buying only their console too as they want me on that as much as possible as opposed to playing mostly on their competition and not investing as much in their console.

I started the single player today and blasted through it. A couple nice levels in there and the final boss fight was great! The rest though wasn't all that great, pretty run of the mill stuff. Still, got all the scrolls so I've unlocked more weapons. After adding slots to gear though I'm short on cash!
