To be fair, I don't see why it's such a bad thing. As long as you do the exercise to make it worthwhile, they're just a good way to put on weight, cheap, easy, no real downsides. Amirite?

I seem to get outrageously tired out from cycling. I'm fairly in shape but literally, like 10 minutes down to a friends house and I'm knackered. At a guess I'd say that cycling is very heavy a couple of leg muscles which I don't use too much. We're meant to be doing a cycling holiday this summer so I should probs work on that one. Anyway I: Swim once a week - feels completely stunning afterwards, plus free use of sauna afterwards. But it's £4 a go. Outrage. And do weights more or less daily. I bought some protein shakes the other day, which just feels wrong, although they appear to work quite well on evidence of people I know. Anyone ever done a triathlon? My friend is trying to persuade me to do one. I'm very tempted. Haven't done much running for years though.

Just went to see this. It's had mixed reviews so I was anticipating being underwhelemed, especially considering Alex Garland / Ishiguru / Mulligan involvement had the bar high. I love the sci-fi aspect, yet how underplayed it was. More just an interesting setting than a full on science fiction. I guess kind of like Time Traveller's Wife.

Yeah that one looks good / would translate well to a tattoo I think. I'm coming round to the concept of tattoos. Possibly reaching the age where 'rest of your life' doesn't seem quite so out-there. My friend has three though and they're just a bit '...'. Just like logos printed onto his skin with a stamp. I mildly disapprove, unless there's artistic merit or meaning. Impressed by the tats on here. Didn't think so many people had them. (Y)

Thought the trailer looked a bit shitty, which had me worried. Plus I thought Edgar Wright might be the main part of the trio that made things all 'work' in Shaun / hf. Good to see people here enjoyed it though. Will be giving it a watch.

Gonna throw it out there, listening to the commentary on 5live, dunno who the commentator was, but what an insufferable twat!!! Great game though (or so it sounded). Had my heart in my mouth when AC scored and it was disallowed. Thought we'd be slaughtered aswell.

I was thinking this, though having watched Virgin Suicides and read reviews of Somewhere I'm left debating whether she's actually any good. I'm a bit worried that Lost in Translation was a fluke, which sucks a little as it's my probable favorite film... She is quite attractive however

I always wonder if Johnson would be better on the wing rather than left back. Seems strongest going forward and is often inconsistence defending when I've seen him play. I've been meaning to watch this. Interesting that it was released to close to 127 hours. Seem like very different films considering they're about a similar idea. I think 127h was missing the sense of claustrophobia and trap-ment that it seems you get with this...

Yeah, that was terrible. Though to be fair the disallowed Van der Vaart penalty probably should have stood earlier in the game so ya know.
