According Eurogamer, the next game 'Tomb Raider Underworld' has been pushed back to Q4 of this year (although I didn't expect it to be out this year anyway) and SCi have also announced Wii & DS versions (and PS2) of the game to go along with the previously announced PS3, PC & 360 versions.

How come the PS3 version of Devil May Cry 4 is more expensive on EVERY internet site than the 360 one - sometimes £10+??!! Why should we have to pay more? The biggest joke is on Gameplay's website. The Ltd Ed is £32.99 on Xbox 360 but if you want it on PlayStation 3 you have to pay £44.99!!!. I'm new to this PS3 lark but that is an absolute bloody outrage I tell you - an outrage!

A year ago I would have said 360 by a country mile. I've always gone against Sony as I saw them as nothing more than a hype-machine that knew how to market their products very well thus brainwashing millions of people into buying their consoles. I had a Saturn over a PSone, and Dreamcast/GameCube/Xbox over PS2 (although I did play and buy games for my brother's PS2). This has all changed now as today I became the proud owner of a PlayStation 3. I got a 360 back in January 2006 and hardly played it - I was still buying and playing more GameCube games than I was 360 games right through '06 & '07. And then in October the bloody thing red-ringed on me and that was pretty much it. I just can't have a console that I have to cross my fingers for everytime I turn it on - plus the extra expenses of Xbox Live, Wireless bridges and all the other gubbins. Sure the 360 pad is better but the SixAxis is already growing on me and is so goddamn light! Sure its only been a day but I'm so glad I decided to go with Sony. I really think announcing this new 'Ultimate Xbox' console will be a bad move by Microsoft and if everything nose dives through this year and into 2009 you can guarantee that Microsoft will ditch 360 for a new console.

Just ordered my PS3 & free HDMI cable from Amazon. With FIrst Class Delivery I got it all for £282 which I thought was an excellent deal! Come the weekend I'll be a fully fledged member of the PSWii club.

Fear not people - I got TRA on Wii for Christmas and I LOVE it! Having played the PS2, 360 & Wii versions I definately think that the Wii is the best one. Sure it doesn't have lovely HD visuals but been playing it at 480p and I think it looks and runs a lot better on Wii than it did on PS2. The only gripes I have with it are the camera controls are a bit of a pain. You hold down C and move the Wii Remote around to tilt the camera and tapping C handily places the camera directly behind Lara. The new Wii flash light is brilliant to use and does not feel gimmicky and I love the other new features such as taking rubbings and hacking through walls to uncover secrets. The game does have a few framerate stutters at some points but nothing too bad and the nunchuk controls are sometimes slightly unresponsive. This was what I was most concerned about - in general the nunchuk controls are excellent (incase you didn't know the nunchuk controls Lara's grapple hook which you use by flicking the nunchuk downwards). The only trouble is that when you need to hook your grapple onto something and pull it towards you you have to flick the nunchuk up to pull it and sometimes it doesn't quite work but again I personally don't think its anything too bad. That's what I think of the game - I'm a TR fan so I am a bit biased but I really do think its worth a go. I do have another sealed copy of the game (I got it twice for Xmas) so if anyone is interested we can work out a price???: peace:

I've sold my 360 to my brother and have decided to get myself a shiny new PS3!!! My 360 red-ringed in October and once is once enough quite frankly - I've never had a console break down on me before so decided to cross to the dark side and get my PS3 hopefully next week. I'm going for the deal on Amazon - you get a 40GB PS3 and free '4-gamers' HDMI cable for £269.99. Do you guys think this is a good deal? Just ordered Sega Rally from Play.com for £17.99 and Virtua Fighter 5 from GAME for £19.99! I Cannot wait!!! EDIT: Scrub that the bastards have put it up a tenner to £279.99!!! Still getting it but need to wait for a cheque to clear before I can get it! It better not go up again.

I'm getting Tomb Raider Anniversary, Resident Evil: UC & Call of Duty 3 for Xmas but I intend to buy: Zack & Wiki and Ghost Squad in January and then Batallion Wars II and No More Heroes in February (also VF5 & Sega Rally on 360).

The Wii is in desperate need of BURNOUT. That is all.

I managed to grab 500 points and then went to get 100 and it said I had reached my daily limit??!! - I thought you were allowed to get two cards a day???

I got my Wii as a graduation present from my folks on the 23rd of June and my Wii Sports is in a cardboard sleeve - I was amazed and its a bit of a pain actually. The most stupid thing is you still get a DVD sized Wii Sports manual inside the plastic bags that you get you Wii console manuals in!!! Not got round to buying a retail Wii Points card yet but will do eventually even just to get a case for Wii Sports!

I'm not spending more money - its an Xmas present! To be honest I have this condition that makes me play the same game on different formats just to see what the differences are - curiosity gets the better of me. Plus the only one I actually bought myself was the 360 version. Its not that unusual, I know loads of people who do this too and you can spend your own money how you want!

I tried to get 1000 points on Friday night but they were sold out. Funny thing is that there were 500 in stock before I logged in and in the time it took me to do that (all of about 5 seconds), they had apparently all sold out! Luckily I managed to get two lots of 500 points which bought me KOF'94 which btw is a BITCH to play on a GameCube pad.

The 360 version of 'Anniversary' is beautiful - I didn't notice any framerate issues at all although it might be different when played on an HDTV. As for the Wii version I've got it but its an Xmas pressie so can't play it just yet. The Eurogamer review did seem a bit harsh but I'll wait and see for myself. Plus even though I've already completed it on PS2 & 360 I can't wait to do it again with the Wii controls and new content!

It has to be the UK one that is f***ed up doesn't it. I'm getting impatient!

YES! I love HOTD and number 3 was a stunner on Xbox so hopefully the Wii version will look even better! Is HOTD 2 just a Dreamcast port (as this version looked better than the Arcade one) or are Sega going to tart it up a bit???

IGN have now reviewed TRA on Wii giving it a lower-than expected score of 7.0 Apparently the framerate stutters quite a bit and the graphics have barely improved over the PS2 version. The reviewer also didn't like the use of the Nunchuk as Lara's grapple but apart from these annoyances liked the Wii controls and the new puzzles included for the Wii version. They have it down for a 14/12 release in Europe. Go take a look!

What's the deal with delaying this till next week (16th) when it came out today for 360 & PS3? I was really looking forward to it as well (trading in Cube LSW 1 & 2 for it). Its going to be one hell of a Friday on the 16th!

I saw Sega Rally for £27.95 at the weekend so was wondering what any of you guys think of it? I loved the first two on Saturn & Dreamcast so is it like the old days or is it totally different? Really tempted to buy it so any thoughts/opinions would be great!

Anybody get this on 360? Seen a lot of mixed reviews about it. I'll finally get to play it on Monday when my 360 comes back from its operation:)

I finally get my 360 back this coming Monday bringing the grand total to 27 days since it broke and I set up a repair online. If its DOA I don't think I'll be able to cope - its been hell seeing you lot all go on about the 360 while I have been left 360less. So what have I missed?
