I'm not getting this game, will save my funds for the must buys. I'll probably just rent it off a friend...
-
I'm liking the look of Ghost Squad more than this so far, entertainment wise, bar the graphics of course.
-
I don't care for the graphics in this game personally. It's a game to pass some time. I'm not going to be using it to make a statement or anything like that, just get it to have some Mario Kart fun as i've enjoyed previous entries of the series. I just want it to play well. No Super Monkey Ball race style handling, that mini game was destroyed in Banana Blitz Online with battle is great news for me. I just want a selection of unique tracks and have more than one control method and i'm happy.

We will definitely hear about something with this roundtable on Thursday, you can count on that, particularly third party support, maybe not this game but others perhaps...
-
But I appreciate the fact Nintendo have put it in, in the first place. Similtaneous co-op (i.e. Mario and Luigi being playable at the same time) would not work for this game, due to going all over the place upside down and whatnot. You'd have to time movements with your playing partner almost to a tee to avoid the game stalling just because the other guy is lagging behind you.

Love making on the sandy coastline possible?

Read it earlier, very good, there weren't any standout complaints for the game, they just commented on the fact, the controls seemed a bit looser than last time they played, but that they could've had a distorted view at that time they played it last year. Not really a complaint as a such but an observation... I like the fact that in the actual game at the beginning, as part of the game, Samus is out of her suit. You reckon we'll get the classic Metroid finish like the older games where if you do extremely well when beating it, you get treated to Samus in a bikini? We are long overdue for this in 3D. I don't see why not. It'd be a fitting way to end the prime series in 3D.

This roundtable coming up may just fill in some of these gaps. Otherwise TGS.
-
Marios speed (being too slow) and the co op mode having bugs and being gimmicky are the only two complaints i've read about this game thus far. But it's definitely shaping up to be a surpassor of Sunshine.

Its been known that Nintendo has had issues with their stock as of late and were in March at GDC restricted from saying anything about new game announcements to avoid hiking the price up. But surely they've resolved these issues by now?

Nintendos having an extra developer roundtable on Thursday. We will possibly know once and for all on that date. I am going to say, there will be no online...
-
Best looking DK yet.
-
Donkey Kong confirmed. 15 sec video on site. Notices section open... Its just one King Bulbins minions, not a playable character...
-
Some concerns have arisen over the speed of Mario running... Another tidbit:

Sorry if this has been posted already, just up from daily dosage of sleep, and just caught up on what happened with the Sony conference, but i'll just post it here anyway seeing just in case it hasn't been posted yet as it could indirectly tie in with this game... http://e3.gamespot.com/live.html?tag=event_nav;live Click on the Thursday tab. Nintendo has another mini talk of sometime it looks like. Am I right? Remember last year when we got to to see the awesomeness of Smash Bros for the first the time (the trailer) on that seperate date? Probably we'll have a similar thing happen this year and possibly fill in some gaps of curiosity.

Simon Belmont has one of the weirdest pain grunts i've heard from any video game character. I haven't played all Castlevania games, so i'm not 100% sure if this is the case in all games in the series...
-
Mario Party 9 probably no doubt will be shown at E3 on show floor and at least for one second in 2007-2008 game lineup trailer compilation.
-
Bowser is so gonna own Hammer Throw and Shot Put. Possibly even Discus and Javellin as well...
-
My bad... I excluded todays update... :hmm: :hmm: :hmm: :hmm: :hmm: I'd like to see some nice women working out during the demonstration of Wii Health Pack if its shown in a few hours time... Preferably in revealing attire.
-
I wonder if it'll be the same voiceover guy again. I remember in the first game, if you beat a game record, he'd absolutely crack it and say OH NO RECORD!!!
-
Well you never know, Nintendo have really only started to get into online gaming now. Assuming the life cycle of Wii is until 2012, theres still some time left for the ULTIMATE Pokemon game to be developed/made on Wii...
-
I can imagine now, if Miis were playable characters, you're playing and you get punched in the head by Captain Falcon, FALCON PUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUNCH! You'd personally feel the pain...
-
Bash Mii mode, and you're beating yourself up essentially or a clone Mii of someone that pisses you off, TAKE THAT!
-
I can see why so many people are yearning for this to become a reality. This could quite seriously surpass GTA San Andreas in sales. This would be unprecedented in Japan especially...

I just want to clarify here, the proposal here is that Nintendo release a Pokemon MMO game, thats a Massively multiplayer online game, so would this mean that we effectively would all be trainers in a huge online world where we ride around various towns and we run into people online and battle them, and also cooperate with others to do double teams, form gangs and bring down superior players?
