As do we all. As do we all... The one first party character I want to see as a playable character is Little Mac. I'd like to see a punch out themed stage (ring) as well. It'd be so appropriate for him to be a playable character, after all, he is a fighter and one of the greatest fighters in Nintendos extensive roster of characters, despite being incredibly small, so naturally he should have a place as a playable character, i'd be a little disappointed if he were only an assist trophy... Of course Sonic & Megaman are givens on my list of desired third party characters. Mario vs Sonic, Samus vs Megaman. Enough said. Miis I don't reckon will be playable but rather an assist trophy with a generic distraction/attack. I'd like it either way if they were included in the game somehow...

I've got DDR: Mario Mix so i'll probably pick this one up as well. Next Konami, give us some Castlevania Wii exclusive lovin'!

Is there any Pokemon that would be able to beat Ganondorf in his beast form? (Smash Bros scenario excluded).

I like how you can place it in mid air! This item could quite useful, especially when someones trying to recover, you throw it 1mm from the ground of the edge, as soon as they do their roll up from successfully clinging the edge CHING, hit bumper gone for the KO.

We should copy and paste every single suggestion, form an ultimate list and compare it to the unveiled mario kart at E3 and see whether it meets our desires/expectations.

WHUERGH perhaps? The sound of air.

Someone write a letter to Nintendo and complain!

Thats one thing I like about Nintendo. Their secrecy. Todays Microsoft Conference was the perfect demonstration of what happens when everything is unveiled too soon. Loads of people being annoyed/bored/frustrated with the conference as practically everything had already been known about/seen. Where as tomorrow, even if its overall an average conference, there are bound to at least be a few surprises. We haven't seen any concrete footage of MP3 or SMG for over a year, the new trailers are bound to have some surprises. Heres hoping though that seeing the conference is focused on new games, that the new games don't disappoint.

On the eve of Nintendos conference what could todays update possibly be? I guess we'll know in one hours time...

Really nice boxart. This could be a real sleeper hit!

I'd like to see the return of some massive tracks such as Rainbow Road and Wario Stadium, along those lines. The tracks were too small in Double Dash... Yes I was thinking something along those lines. You'd have a damage meter and each projectile that makes contact with your cart has a varying degree of damage. E.g. A banana peel would yield less damage, but a star, thunderbolt or blue shell would yield greater damage. While it doesn't necessarily affect your speed, it does make you more vulnerable and makes it riskier to ride out the rest of the race, thus adding that extra degree of challenge. Imagine coming first the entire race, 1st place finish is for the championship, you have limited damage allowance left, and right at the finish line, you are attacked and you retire 1mm from the finish line thus losing the entire cup! As soon as the damage meter goes down to nothing, you are goner, you retire the race and your player makes a classic nintendo one liner remark witha close up of your cart smoking and a pissed off look on your characters face. You finish depending on how many other players retired. Assume two other racers were eliminated and then you. Assuming they still have 8 racers per race, you'd finish 6th in this particular instance.

Would this game benefit with the tracks having a formula one style pit stop?

:wtf: :wtf: :wtf: :wtf: :wtf: :wtf: :wtf: :wtf: Where did you get the idea that Yoshi is a female? Yoshi is 100% male and confirmed via various documented evidence such as instruction manuals, Wikipedia etc. Birdo on the other hand, is now female, used to be male though in the Super Mario Bros 2 game. Very unique in that Birdo is a transexual video game character, one of the only ones in the history of gaming.

Why are so many people on the world wide web complaining about the graphics?

I'd like a Free Driving mode where you are placed in a HUGE environment that seems endless, whether it'd be a city or something and all you do is drive around in your super cool cart. Here there are secret unlockables to be found by say driving in an underground car park and in the last space, there is an item or the lift opens up and inside the lift is another item. This could act like a Mii Plaza type mode that is online, you drive around and meet other Wii owners. You can make exchanges such as car parts for money among other things and issue challenges for online matches.

I am predicting Sony hands down will have the best presence this year with E3. After having one of the worst presentations of all time last year, they'll be eager to win back the faithful consumers with a spectacular showing. I expect games like Killzone and MGS4 along with others to WOW attendees and gamers alike. Microsoft, I don't know, only real surpise could be MGS4 going multi, but I don't like the chances of that happening. Unfortunately I believe, Nintendo will have an underwhelming conference this year, we'll hear about some new good games, but no megaton announcements or any concrete details about the long term future of the console, more about the immediate future and only in relation to games, it'll be all about games and nothing else. No price drop what so ever. No details of improvements to interface, Mii channel or anything. Nothing spectacular, and will disappoint a lot of people, but they will reaffirm that the key titles are in fact releasing this year and near completion.

I hate the Fox model, I don't know what Sakurai was thinking when he decided to use that model for Fox, the Melee fox looks heaps better, to me anyway... He looks like a grandpa in this game with the eye lens, a pensioner amongst the foxes. I don't like the pants, the oversized shoes, I don't like anything about the Brawl model at all. Hopefully the voice is not as bad as the character model is... Its probably the only tidbit of the game i've seen that I dislike. The rest I like

I expect another so-so update tomorrow, before TEH MEGATON of game information for Brawl at E3.

It's also happened to me a few times while playing Red Steel. About 3 times all up it happened, where right in the middle of the game it freezes and all you hear is BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP and you can't do anything until you turn off the actual unit as the reset button didn't seem to work for me... There may be a technical reason behind this, but it's just probably just a random occurence that you'll get by after completing the game. Maybe perhaps its because there is flash RAM in some models and the update is not applied properly and this could be causing the jamming. You could either just shut down the system wait for around 20 seconds or so and reboot or if you still continue to have the problem, reformat the console. Just make you regularly save in case it happens again. I lost at least a good hours worth of Red Steel play on a particular level as a result of this which was rather frustrating. -
That may be so, but perhaps there may be varying extents of damage to the bridge where the breaking off parts vary in length. Also it won't be so easy to avoid being attacked on such a narrow area that remains where if you are hit right near the KO perimeter of the stage (being either to the VERY LEFT or very right) you are likely to be KOED just like in the Super Mario Bros stage in Melee especially if King Bulbin happens to make an apperance on a particular side the VERY MOMENT a large chunk of the bridge breaks off.

UPDATE = Bridge of Eldin --> STAGE This area appeared in the Wii game The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. If you’ve played that title, you ought to remember this place. The terrain is flat. I mean, really flat. And the enemy leader, King Bulblin, makes cameo appearances. Occasionally, he uses bombs to blast holes in the stage. Run! It’s King Bulblin and Lord Bullbo! Uh-oh! There’s a hole... But don’t worry. The missing chunk will be magically transported via portal to fill in the gap. Whoa! Just like the original game! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ That wraps up another good week of updates. Two to go until E3 2007! I think then, the "notices section" will finally be OPENED, with at the very least, a firm release date and perhaps confirmation of certain features such as online play etc. Samus must have pretty strong ass cheeks, its not completely touching the ground yet she can remain in that position without having assistance with one of her hands pressing against the ground!

UPDATE = SMASH ATTACKS There’s a variety of attacks in Smash Bros., and they all involve some combination of strength and direction. Let me start here by talking about strength. Standard Attack If you just press the attack button, you’ll perform a standard attack. These are generally speedy. Strong Attack When you tilt the stick in a direction, you’ll do a stronger attack in that direction. These attacks usually have longer reach. Smash Attack Now, if you simultaneously tilt the stick and press the button, you’ll do a smash attack. These are powerful! Since the name for smash attack is derived from the game’s name, you can assume they’re pretty important. Swiftly tilt the Control Stick left, right, up, or down, and simultaneously attack! When you link the feeling of this control with the result of sending an opponent flying, I think you’ll start to see the crux of this game. At first, don’t overthink things. It’s OK to just tilt the stick and mash some buttons. Ease yourself into it. By pressing and holding the attack button during a smash attack, you can build up power. Power up and unleash it when the time is right! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- With the breakdown of controls being shown here for attacking, as per Sakurais recommendation, i'll stick with the GC controller for this game, but use the Wavebird for wireless play. Zero Suit Samus must be one of Sakurais favorite characters at the moment as he's constantly featuring her in screens with the daily updates... Poor 5'7" Link is gonna get owned by 6'3" Samus...

So what do you all reckon is going to happen this year? On Nintendos front I have no idea, but I reckon at least two of the following three things will be certain and all relate to Sony: Sony announce a price cut for PS3, I am prediciting a $100US deduction (Odds 2:1) Sony unveil a PSP redesign to compete with DS Lite (Odds 3:1) Sony unveil a Dual Shock 3 Redesign that contains rumble or superior motion sensing capabilities (4:1)

For Fox, I'm going to estimate, he summons an Arwing that comes and fires ballistically at players with laser shots and maybe even a few missiles, essentially being a similar variation of Marios final smash. Samus, Wario, Zelda and Pit I have no idea...
