  1. ZOMG, POWERHOUSE ALLIANCE ON TEH CARDS! NintenBox 1080 in 2011 at a price tag of US $1,000 here we come!
  2. I think Marios final smash deals damage and subsequent to the amount of damage accumulated earlier, they will either be sent flying to doom, or JUST survive due to being virtually 0% prior to the final smash and because the fireballs are travelling at fast speeds when you are hit and the fire effect immobilises you for a second or two you'll be burning and then be pounded with more fireballs that'll knock you off the stage. Seeing that this is a final smash, I don't think it has the effect of a regular fireball where you just get damaged and thats it. I don't understand how Jigglypuff can pull off such an OWNAGE KO move by just sleeping... Was useful for acquiring the Mr Resetti trophy though... How come I am reading people saying Kirby will cook enemies and that is his final smash, has this been confirmed or is this just estimation/speculation? I have had the lottery mode music in my head for almost the past two weeks. I think I am getting bodily signals craving for this Wii software.
  3. Ganondorfs final smash, if hes even in the game should be the use of that purple paralysis energy that came from the triforce on his gauntlet just before the final battle begins in OOT, and it gets your damage up to 999% and then an attack could follow providing it is not successfully dodged by the player after accumulating damage.
  4. The stress of constantly being defeated by Mario has obviously taken a toll on Bowsers physical appearance with getting a little chubbier and losing hair. He must fight the 7 signs of ageing PRONTO! Also expect Luigi to have a mullet this time round. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- UPDATE = BOWSER FINAL SMASH. <Giga Bowser Transformation> What?! You can control Giga Bowser from Super Smash Bros. Melee?! It’s Bowser’s Final Smash!! Bowser grabs a Smash Ball! TRANSFORM! Whoaaa! Talk about a change! He’s huge! And tough! What, you think just because he’s huge, you can needle him with lots of little attacks and keep him off balance? Heh heh... Yeah, you keep thinking that. He must be invincible! You can only be Giga Bowser for a short time, though, so you’d better take your enemies out while you can. Bear in mind, too, that while escaping from Giga Bowser, fighters might decide it’s a good strategy to pick off the stragglers in his wake...
  5. As long as the game doesn't become vapourware, then i'll be satisfied.
  6. Perfect Dark 100% completion of Perfect Agent on all stages including the bonus stages of Mr Blondes Revenge, the level playing as Elvis (forgot the name) War, and the Duel and unlocking every single cheat in the game along with completing all challenges against the bots in multiplayer! Kirby Air Ride - 100% completion, all 360 objectives and even completed objectives to replace purple FREE square fills! Doshin The Giant - 100% completion, just for the fact that where I am located, barely anyone actually owns the game or knows of its existence.
  7. The article is dated March 29, 2007. There is still a glimmer of hope that Sonic being in the game was NOT A PRIORITY at that VERY moment in time when Laurent was asked the question and was perhaps subtly pushed aside for the HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGE official confirmation at E3 or TGS.
  8. The castles interior that is shown, still resembles more of a Kid Icarus themed stage rather than Fire Emblem... Also in particular pay close attention to Pits fingerless glove/gauntlet and the logo thats on there: & then look in the background of the 1st image. I think the mystery may have just been solved...
  9. I think so to, as there are only 5 more updates till E3 2007 (Nintendos conference that is), so I am expecting updates with GREATER tidbits to build momentum for the game prior to the conference having some possibly significant unveilings.
  10. Update = Bowser --> Character. The biggest and the heaviest of fighters, Bowser has a slightly different flavor this time around! To be honest, there are a LOT of characters that offer a slightly different flavor this time around. If you think they’re all going to be the same as they have been, it’ll be rough for you. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ On a side NOTE: Pay particular attention to the second screenshot, it's the first time we are able to see the flag logo up close, is this logo traceable to any particular franchise?
  11. I missed that... TWO UPDATES in one day... A rarity... I reckon these assist trophies just about confirm collecting trophies will not be a part of this installment of BRAWL. The characters that were former trophies will instead interact with the stage in some way sorta compensating for them not being collected... Perhaps them appearing UNLOCKS them to be viewable? or perhaps there is a new collectible instead, or none all together to focus on better gameplay such as an overhauled adventure mode and/or online?
  12. MONDAY UPDATE = What are Assist Trophies? What’s an Assist Trophy?! Well, these are characters who appear to aid the fighter that called them forth. Basically, they’re guest characters separate from Smash’s playable roster! Super Smash Bros. Brawl is sort of like a festival that all sorts of characters show up for. Bear in mind, though, that you can’t control any of the characters appearing on these pages. Let there be no mistake about that. In any case, you won’t know who is in an Assist Trophy until you use it. Take the capsule and hold it high! A Hammer Bro appears! As you can see, he throws his famed hammers! Actually, the Nintendog you saw in the E3 movie is also an Assist Trophy. Aw.... Isn’t he cute! You’re probably thinking that a Nintendog is a pretty poor assistant, since it blocks your view, too. That’s fine. He’ll help calm your mental state. Assist Trophies allow you to enjoy even more characters who couldn’t quite make it as playable fighters. You may even see some that only the most dedicated fans will recognize, so you’ll have to look forward to them.
  13. TODAYS UPDATE: WARIO SPECIAL MOVES Side Special Move: Wario Chopper> Wario’s side special move is the Wario Chopper. He jumps on and starts racing! Vroom! Vroom! Tilt the Control Stick in the opposite direction of your movement to pull a 180. Use an attack button to jump off. Axle turn! Only one motorcycle will appear on screen, so if you fall off, run back up to it and climb on again. Where’s my hog?! <Down Special Move: Wario Waft> Oh, and Wario’s down special move is the Wario Waft. That is to say, he passes gas. This particular special move builds up power the longer you go without using it. If you haven’t held it in, it’ll be a cute little poot. But when you hold it in as much as you can...?! In this case, patience really is a virtue.
  14. Nintendos press conference at E3 Media & Business Summit is on the 11th July right? So that means including Fridays update this week, there are 8 more site updates to go until the conference and the chance of a significant game announcement happening...
  15. I actually liked the Crus'n games, theres some optimism for a decent offering here with the released concept art... "YEAAAAAAAAAAAAH OHWOOOOOOOH OHWOWOWOWOWOHOH" <-- Brought back memories of the map/car selection screen...
  16. Updates usually take place at around 0800 GMT.
  17. You can enter individual names for each player. Start by just entering a name. This time, enter it like you would on your cell phone! You can also use random names. Once it’s entered, choose your name for your character on the character-selection screen before you begin fighting. The character-selection screen is still a secret! This time, names are extremely important. That’s because we’ve included personalized button configurations. We’ve made this game compatible with four different controllers: You can change button configurations for each one for each registered name, and alter those configurations any way you like. Assigning personal button configurations each time you fight would be a bit of a pain...but if you just choose your name from the list, BAM! You get to play with your preferred configuration! There’s no waiting! We’re also considering allowing you to save your name to the memory in your Wii Remote so you can bring your settings with you to your friend’s house... But if we can’t make that happen, I apologize. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ On a side note, todays update gives us the first glimpse of the interface of the game, and to me it appears very Kirby Air Ridesque.
  18. I've seen in a number of other gaming forums people complaining about the Banana Peel, but people are really underestimating the power of this item. It looks as though based on the screenshots released that slipping on the peel causes you to temporary be immobile when you make contact with the peel (walk/run over it) like when you leave the shield held for too long "crack" dizziness. This will give rise for a smash opportunity, if enough % of damage has been accumulated and if it has been strategically placed well, i.e on edge after attempted recovery, jumps up from edge slips or in a part of the stage where visibility is reduced, BAM ELIMINATED in an instant courtesy of capitalising on a vulnerable opponent. I welcome the addition of this item although I am slightly confused to how it would work if you were knocked INTO the ground via a smash move and slid along the ground due to accumulating a lot of damage and you happen to make contact with the banana peel, what would happen then? Would it just be used up Mario Kart style?
  19. LOZ OOT medley is todays update (reworked compilation of OOTS tunes)
  20. Darn it, got in just a bit too late...
  21. I'm gonna go with the unveiling of a new item, perhaps the Nintendogs item being unveiled? On another note, I remember in Melee, enjoyed spending HARD EARNT coins on the lottery machine with that nice melodic music playing in the background and THE TRIUMPH when I scored a rare trophy was a sight to behold. I Also liked just doing "tease jumps" over the portal in all stars mode preventing from teleporting by 1mm literally testing my timing skills and gazing at the green park in the background, again listening to the tranquil music in the background as though, you are on a journey, to become the ALL STAR, the road is tough, the odds are stacked against you, but you can come out the CHAMPION. I look forward to little extras they chuck in Brawl to make those novelties special experiences like in Melee.
  22. Some really encouraging news on Nintendos part lately... The perception of value with Wii is becoming stronger than any other Nintendo system since Super Nintendo, evident by BIG NAME publishers starting to provide greater support with more games including exclusives and big name multiplatforms that have never even entered a Nintendo console slot before...
  23. With there being a high probability of this coming true, I really wouldn't be surprised if Nintendo were one step ahead of the game again and released a third pillar to the third pillar.
  24. A bit late for that though... Too reactive Sony...
