This update will be worthy of a hallelujah, its been that long... I can just imagine how crazy some of the other Wii forums like IGN are at the moment, in light of Sakurai being unusually late this week with updates. Now 2 hours late...
-
Almost 90 minutes late now... Somethings definitely going on in his life other than developing Super Smash Bros Brawl, could he be having maritial/relationship issues, lack of fulfillment in his life and thus not being motivated to post updates?
-
Another day, another massive delay in posting todays update... 60 minutes overdue and still no update... Sakurais obviously got some ladies action going on in between updates, or worse yet, he has lost the passion. It's now an obligation rather than a pleasure that it obviously once was in the good old days of last week and prior... WILL SOMEONE PLEASE THINK OF THE CHILDREN!

Nah, the Wario Chopper (bike move) is his Side Special Move (B -->). It's good to see the travesty of yesterdays update being one hour overdue has not been repeated today
-
Anyone reckon Warios final smash could be him pulling out the Wario Ware bomb that goes off in 5 seconds like in the actual games and causes a massive explosion?
-
David Perrys appeal will wear off after publicly making this comment about Wii...

Unusually late this time round... About on par with the delay we got for the This World post... 38 minutes late, whats going on Sakurai? Hopefully it's not a family emergency or death that has delayed todays update...

I already do sufficient exercise through other means so unlikely i'll be purchasing this, although I might get it for collecting purposes, especially if the Balance Board has uses for other games and cannot be purchased seperately...
-
Guaranteed purchase for me, looks like a great avenue to unwind... This brings back memories of playing Mario 64 and having that soothing muisc play in the background while swimming the Mushroom Kingdom waters...

I assume characters making contact with the platforms are the only way they'll break and that items landing on them from the sky will not... Although the stage may appear boring to some at first, this appears to be a rather interesting stage... Lots of aerial combat and will force people to move around instead of just waiting in the corner and playing defensive style, with Roy in particular using his A and B smash move...

Update = Skyworld Behold the Kid Icarus stage! You can go ahead and call it Pit’s home turf if you like. From a distance you can see the temple and its surroundings. The floor’s crumbling construction makes it easy to shatter... It feels great to break it! Not having a floor does increase the danger factor, though. Why? Because it’s a long way down, that’s why! Look out below! Mastering this element is one key to gaining the upper hand. The floor quickly regenerates, so it’s important to keep your eyes on it.

Yoshi was the best for the Sandbag challenge, along with Ganondorf...

The Legend of Zelda:Twilight Princess
Petey Piranah replied to Hero-of-Time's topic in Nintendo Gaming
Naturally of course for the universally regarded (overall majority) greatest video game hero of all time... -
Yoshis sex confirmed as male as I originally thought...

I got this game recently, and so far, I don't mind it, but I hate the fact the boards are SO SLOW and the Moped extra mini game has this similar lag... It's like as if the framerates 10 or something... It's on Wii yet the boards are extremely laggy, almost unplayable. I don't see why the boards aren't the same speed as the standard mini games. Play a previous GC edition of Mario Party and compare it to the boards on Mario Party 8, you'll be staggered with the speed difference... I played with a friend and it didn't bother him, but it really bothers me... Theres a decent selection of mini games but controls are a mixed bag. Some utilise the controller very well, others control terribly, I spotted at least one where it says to control the joystick, yet you are only using the Wii remote, which indicates this game was originally intended for GameCube and it feels like it... But despite this, I am going to persist on playing and unlock everything in the game seeing that I paid full retail price for this game...

15 1/2 hours till another week of weekday updates!

I am going to conclude that these clouds, do in fact depict the most evil of characters in the Nintendo franchises (especially the Bowser cloud), that are acting as minions of Masterhand whereby he has spared them being lifeless trophies, for his smash world domination purposes and makes them conduct his evil activities and essentially act as supervisors to ensure the "RULES" are not being breached. These supervisors, being Bowser, Ridley, Ganondorf/Ganon and maybe even Star Wolf are symbolically featured in the clouds to depict the fact that Masterhand has absorbed their powers to form a super power that is used to rule the world. You will obviously be fighting them in Story/Adventure mode as you progress closer to putting a stop to Master Hands reign of terror...
-
Two of them are definitely valid, these being Bowser and Ridley, Ridley has his mouth stretched wide open like he typically does. Looks like Ganon is there as well as outlined above. Master Hand in the middle is probably stretching it but I have no clue who the enemy is in the top left hand corner...
-
More cloud speculation, you can sorta see finger structure as if Master Hand, the palm is stretched out symbolic of its rage for the breach of rules by Mario and Kirby. That cloud to the left of Ridley definitely looks like a famous boss/enemy from a Nintendo or Kirby franchise, gotta look into all the famous bosses/enemies in Nintendo franchises and Kirby and see if I can decipher the ET face cloud look a like...
-
I think I see it now, just below Bowser to the right appears an alligator pig style creature that looks like Ganon (beast form)...
-
Bowser is definitely there on the right and looks likely Ridley is on the left also... This seems like more than just a coincedence...
-
The only thing I can decipher from the update is that Mario and Kirby fight because thats all they know how to do according to the caption and Mario defeats Kirby hence the reason why Kirby becomes a trophy again like in Melee when you get game over, you become the trophy again and are slammed on the ground, as if you have died, dead nothing tangiable object. Mario then decides to resurrect Kirby into physical life form and they shake hands on it. As a result of going against the "fighting only" rules, the evil force comes by to issue out punishment for breaching the rules. Why the Halberd appears I have no idea... I don't think Meta Knight is the main enemy in the game. It looks as though the thing in the last screenshot has a cord above his head as if it's dangling out of an opening of the Halberd ship.

How unfortunate. He cannot play with himself while playing Smash no more...
-
& also there wouldn't have been the formal unveiling in the E32006 trailer of her as a "newcomer" if she was not in complete playable form right from the get go in addition to coming about a result of the final smash unveiled today... It may be the same of how you select Sheik on the character select screen where you hold down A until the battle begins and then shes playable the whole time...
-
It'd be disappointing if you cannot play as Zero Suit Samus right from the start, but seeing that it hasn't been confirmed yet, I'll assume that through choosing different colors (skins) and what not like you can in Melee, in Brawl while cycling through the various color schemes you can choose for your character, one of the skins will be Zero Suit Samus that you can play right from the start, at least thats what I hope will be the case as it could be applied to characters such as Mario as well having a Dr Mario skin instead of an extra character like in Melee. If this were the case, which hopefully it is, I wonder what Zero Suit Samus's final smash will be?
