I'm amazed so many people have tried the nesquik straws, they look terrible to me.

It's 30°C here. We have good air conditioning at work so I don't really notice it during the day but as soon as you walk outside you start to burn. It's not too bad in my bedroom, I love my air cooler.

I can understand Aisleynes reaction to Mikey. First there's the thing with naked Spiral and him telling her she doesn't respect herself - so she's a bit self conscious about the way she dresses (or doesn't). Then Mikey comes over and bites her bum as though it's perfectly normal! Ok she didn't need to scream but it's fair enough that she is making a big deal out of it (although I expected more than I saw).

I've only just got round to reading your post BlackFox, sounds like a good day. I've never been to the Natural history museum, we did go to the british museum for a school trip in year 3 though which was pretty good. It's been ages since I've been in London, I can't wait to go in Aug/Sept, no idea what I'll be doing yet though. I would think quite a bit of shopping will be involved. The last time I went other than just travelling through was when I was 14/15 and poor, it will be great now that I've actually got money.

Ok I'm going for it. The question itself is quite offensive in my opinion, people that aren't intelligent aren't worse people and so whether the answer is yes or no it shouldn't really matter. Should we not accept those that aren't as clever? I would be much more worried about the country being more agressive or rude than whether we're dumbing down. I like Big Brother and have no problem with other people hating it, but thinking everyone that watches it is an idiot is ridiculous. Why do we watch TV? Entertainment. I'm not here to learn, I'm just watching something that's interesting, and watching people interact is interesting. Maybe the "idiots" like Jade are being glorified more so than in the past, but I don't think that means we as a country are getting stupid. Again, she's popular because people find her entertaining.

I see quite a lot of CVs doing post in the morning at our office, I'd say the covering letter is pretty important. Make sure it's well written to the point and makes you sound good. I read one the other day that started "My name is ____ and I am __ years old. That's what 5 year olds write, it put me off immediately.

You always like the worst possible people Sarka. If I can't stand them you love them. We can't really judge Ashlynes reaction because we don't know what it's like in the house, something like that would seem huge when your life is living inside one house for so long. I went from poor Ashlyne to oh be quiet to oh my god this is awful to watch.

You've been busy Monopolyman. I watched Gremlins the other night, I'm looking forward to watching 2 next. I could hardly remember any of it from when I was younger but Gizmo is so cute. The evil Gremlins gambling/drinking went on a bit long for me though.
