  1. Having just finished Season Two (absolutely brilliant) I have to mention that the sex/racy parts increase. If that's what you're worried about. I mean...it's not too bad, but I guess it's "explicit" for TV, and made me a bit embrassed to be watching it on the train. :p And the swearing is basically as bad as you can get. Both are dealt with appropriately/well though.

Poignantly not including Courteny Cox? I guess it would be even more weird now her and David are divorced, but really..I'd prefer Gale was in it over Dewey. He never actually did much.

The Box Office isn't THAT bad. The films don't cost much to make (relative to other big hollywood films) so that always helps. If they're planning a 5th, I doubt the earnings for Scream 4 would put them off...

  5. I need to connect to tha internettttttzzzzz. Victini is almost gone. Gonna try tonight. I hate techological stuff not working.
  6. Marion <3 Levitt is eh, but good/fine. I'm in two minds over directors who use the same people over and over though.
  7. Yeah, I watched (and loved) Batman Returns many times when I was younger before realising what Penguin was doing for a lot of the early parts of the film (i.e when he's in the register's office looking at birth certificates).
  8. I quite liked it as retcons go, only questionable part was Prof X not telling anyone he accidentally got a whole team of X-Men killed. Wouldn't you tell the All-New, All-Different team (the ones he assembled AFTER the failed ones retconned in) AFTER the mission was a success? I understand not doing it before so they trust you, but yeah.
  9. Star Wars is so incredibly overrated. Not to say they're bad - they're good entertainment of course, but...not much else going on there beyond that. [/my view] I enjoy the concept of the expanded universe/the fact it exists. And lightsabres are admittedly a stunning fictional invention. The sound is beautiful.
  10. Vulcan was e'rthing. Ask Deathbird.
  11. How have you not heard of Vulcan, Dan? Flop X-fan.
  12. I hate bad photoshopping.
  13. It almost feels like they were trying to maybe make a positive message thing about stranger dangers/paedophiles, only it got lost in 50's bigotranslation.
  14. I'm not feeling you as a meme ReZ.
  15. A better film than a good lot on this list.

    Friday

    I hope she actually is.
  17. A lot of that reads completely as clutching at straws to find a positive in a "bad film". I know because I do the same a lot for "bad films". :p Esp the last spoiler box. My favourite thing is being anti-cliche, and this film does NOT avoid cliche. :s Every element that might have been interesting you mentioned is undermined by being a big ball of shit otherwise. (IMO/it is though)
  18. Was meant to be seeing the fantastic Lykke Li last night but she hurt her back so the show was postponed. Chair goes back to Oxford tomorrow so I will have to sell his ticket for him, and for all I know the gig will be rescheduled for a date after I return down south too...
  19. A girl/family friend's daughter worked on this series as a production assistant or something. *shrug*
  20. Ew no! Glaswegian accents are horrid. The end of every sentence sounds like a question.

  21. 88. But then I've started to fill in my gaps of late, with so many to fill.
  22. Video doesn't work. I can imagine his voice so it's fine.

  23. Bear in mind theatre is so ready for jokes. There's a production currently on at the Rose theatre in Kingston of Hamlet and 2 other plays (in one night I think) by some really avant garde company which like includes props you bring with you, YOU choose things that they then act out etc. And their poster is a really interesting poster, of a skull, but with a definite FACE (not just blank eyes), and bits of carefully placed colour. The text is all drawn on, not just type. Not really advice or criticism, I just wanted to say that. I do think Romeo and Juliet is too obvious though.
