PJ Harvey does something like this on basically all her albums, making each one a flowing individual. Rid Of Me is full or references to legs, hers or otherwise, and not only on the song "Legs". She also has 2 tracks on this album, Man-Size and Man-Sized Sextet, which If i'm not mistaken are the same song, but one is rearranged with agitated strings and is shorter, while the other is perhaps a continuation, but is really just a rocky version of it. SFTC,SFTS mentions similar things like "...one line..." but not in the song "One Line". Various songs on Is This Desire? talk of someone called Catherine, and, yep, not just on the song "Catherine". So it's a sort of reference.

The Company of Wolves 9/10 My dad picked this up for me 'cause Sarah Patterson is my third cousin or something, and this was was very successful, critically. I have to say, it left me thinking WTF. In an amazing way. The "main story" is so intentionally...I don't know the word, it's not cheesy. Fairytale-esque fits, and that's what it is. The effects got the 18 rating were pretty cool for the timne (1984), and the famous one that's on the cover is indeed cool. The end seems to suddenly inform your brain that this film was great. It's themes are evident, but vague enough so they aren't too obvious...Agh I dunno what to say. If you like a somewhat more odd but definitely worthwhile watch, get this. I loved it.

That just sounds really farfetched. Having Cap's whole origin in the Hulk movie? Huh? And when he wakes up, what then? He's hardly a threat to Hulk... I'm over it. I want to know if Iron Man gets to fight Hulk in the film! As RDJ is in the new Hulk film as Stark, so i'd assume so.

Another case of haggis-is-behind-the-times syndrome... Wasn't she all hyped up like a month ago, or something? Honestly. From the few times I've heard it, it's a Regina Spektor for the masses, only not even comparable in quality. ---- Bought Lykke Li's new album today. It's ok, quite good. It might need to grow on me a bit though. She sounds like the love child of Sia and Cat Power.

No accent is worse than REALLY scottish scottish. Like when it's incomprehensible. I'm glad Lee won. Those 2 were the 2 I wanted, and Lee was more palatable than Claire.

Not Ashlee Simpson. Probs Tori Amos, though I always listen to her. The album Boys For Pele (a masterpiece) is a mix of primal anger mixed with primal deep feeling. However, it's not a good starting point for her music, it's a bit deep.

I see the music I love as being very personal to me, but I can actually see what people wouldn't like about the people I love! Which is odd, as usually, like you say, people are usually just offended. I just think they're wrong. :p

Ok, sorry. I'd prefer you didn't generalise me in one fell swoop...I've listened to Ting Tings new album, yes. Do I think it's anything notable or actually good? No. Some tracks are fun, but that's it. That's not really the point though. I don't look for music on youtube, the radio, or TV. I'm not a musician, so I don't think I really appreciate instrumentation as much I maybe should do, but in general I prefer electronic or atmospheric music and voices, or at least I do now. I don't think one should compare one person's ability with an instrument to someone else's voice. (Thinking of like Bjork vs. KSE, or whatever) "MUSIC"S SUBJECTIVE!" - *shrugs* You actually put me off ever trying to listen to more metal music. (Response: "I don't care, you're too shit for metal anyway!" or something like it) --------- Empty Shell - Cat Power I've suddenly grown to love her, rather than just like, but The Greatest as an album is a bit blah. Money Note - Camille Very innovative...I love the experimentation and the fact the song is just so fucking funny.

Growls in metal music are better than faux-dramatic voices that sound like they're meant to be a joke. (i.e Killswitch Engage)

Why would you ruin a good song? It's actually amazing as it is... *shakes head* Listening to the whole of You Are Free by Cat Power. Her voice is so calming and beautiful. Love her. This is my favourite of her albums.

Seeing Alanis Morissette in august. So happy right now. Sure she's not as striking as she once was (musically), but her new album packs pretty big whallop. This performance sent shivers down my spine, and it's not even a favourite song of mine.

I can't be bothered buying graphic novels nowadays...collecting comics feels funnier. But I need to only collect select ones. I need a DC and Marvel one, then maybe a select Indie/other one.
