  2. Stephen Fry in America Mountains And Plains I love this show. Love his humour, and I'm fascinated by these beautiful road trips across the US. I want to do that one day. Plus he visited Wounded Knee, and some other poignant native American sites. I am seriously pro-Native American re-population. We should clone them or something. They should'nt be resigned to the fact they'll be extinct soon... 9/10
  3. Had an "epic" drama rehearsal. Really badly organised, and of the people who actually knew it was on, and arrived at school, we soon realised that the entire school was locked. So we went to someone in my group's house, for one of the worst rehearsals ever; we just forced said friend to make us tea, bacon (no roll or sandwich involved) and then we broke several of her little sisters toys, including her laminator (kids these days), which we eventually left with a knife and fork sticking out of it! Then we pinned her down and posted jokes to randoms on her facebook account. Twas fun. No help in line learning though.
  4. It wasn't that good. I liked that he reaaranged it (maybe someone else did), but to be honest, all I wanted to see on frickin' Michael Jackson week was an upbeat song.
  5. Yeah, but Aoife looks and sounds funny, like a fiesty pixie priestess, oft-defying the strict laws of her teachers, in order to protect the denizens of the forest, be they flora or fauna.
  6. Rachel was still better than Eoghan, if you're basing it on tonight. She's better than a lot of the others in general though. Plus she seems like one of the few willing to take a risk and perform musical styles that might actually relevant to the buying youth of today.
  7. It's truly a hideous (looking at least) name. Eoghan Quigg. It's like a type of herbal remedy a witch would grudgingly give you to cure some kind of gential itch. "Hmm...I could give you some Eoghan Quigg. Y'know it's, like, really nasty, though, right?" --- Austin went. Yay. Colour me surprised (happily so).
  8. Because nothing has made the idea sound anything more than a cash cow to attract the zillions that loved HSM etc. If it was an original story, it would sound better.
  9. It seems to be the year with the most talent, but also the year where Simon's facade slips, revealing what we all know; he's in it to get a product. Austin caters to teenage/young girls, as does Eoghan. Both also to older women. They're staying for a while yet, I predict.
  10. Eoghan was vocally the worst of the night. He's my least favourite anyway. Diana did better with Call Me than I thought she would, but it didn't fit her much at all. Best of the night were Laura and Ruth. Austin was dull as dogs.
  11. If it's not as good as Casino Royale, yet it gets 9/10, what are you rating Casino Royale?!
  12. Avvie: 4/10 Boring. I like images in Avatars too. I get a face to imagine saying what's in each post. Ok Colour scheme. Sig: 5/10 Blah. It looks like a HSM sig that's taking itself too seriously.
  13. What a shit album cover. I could have made that on Gimp, which a shitty free version of photoshop with almost no decent features.
  14. Yay! Someone else signed up. Thanks Cube.
  15. Went to the mini-party tonight, but left after an hour or two. Dunno why, just got too crowded, which I really hate...my claustrophobia kicking in, I guess. Plus the (literal) atmosphere of various high-inducing fumes was nice when you were actually taking part in it, but not ages after, I find. Twas good though. EDIT: I just remembered, I actually did leave for a reason...I had to go out early this morning, so I was told to come home
  16. I love so much. Actually true too. Though I'd have Nine as my top one, shifting the rest down.
  17. Just an odd dry-hump every now and then?
  18. The only song by them I can say I like. So you're alright. Plus it takes a line from Closer, a film I love.
  19. Why has Venom become a vampire?
  20. I was always under the impression that the 5th corner only had ears for Cat Stevens.
  21. Is that luminous pink bound penis actually a penis? *questions whether he really wants to know*
  22. So yeah, I want to run a "tournament" style contest on the forum, where music goes head to head. For the first contest, I think individual songs would be best. SO! Any member who wishes to participate (below is my definition of participating) nominates 3 songs by anyone, from anywhere. Rank them in preference order, because depending on the amount of people I get joining, the bottom choices may be cut off. (Tracks must have had an official release) After the nominations end (time or amount of people gets too big), the songs will be randomly paired against each other, and individual threads for each match will be opened. The winning track from each match will go onto further rounds, until we get the forum's "favourite" song! ---- Participation; By saying you wish to participate, and submitting your 3 songs, you are agreeing to vote in the majority of posted matches. If you aren't participating enough, your choices risk being cut off the list. ------- Youtube; Every match will use Youtube videos to the songs in that match, so make sure the song you choose is on Youtube somewhere, even if you have to upload it yourself. You can choose a live performance of a song (as long as it has been officially released), if you want, where the video may already be on youtube. ---- Get nominating!
  23. No. The Dark Knight Returns/Strikes Again are an Elseworlds tale, i.e an alternate universe, not current continuity. You;re referring to Batman: Year One. Batman Begins is VERY loosely based on it. But really, it has no supervillains in it, no detail on his training (a few panels), a different inspiration for using a bat, and also doubles as Catwoman's origin. Bears little resemblance, unless you count Gordon not being comissioner yet, and Flass being a corrupt cop. (Falcone might be in the book, can't remember) -- TDK has been said to have been inspired by The Long Hallowe'en I think, but again, I think that's just like saying Begins is based on Year One.
  24. Bad girl, drunk by six Kissing someone else's lips Smoked too many cigarettes a day She's not happy when she acts this way
