  1. The pointless new version of Beautiful is hideous. The beat it good, almost like something Goldfrapp would do, but she sounds bored/stoned on it. ---- What random song is stuck in everyone's heads right now? Mine is the chorus from Who's That Girl by Madonna, a random song I knew was well-known, but never new I had. Quien es esa nina, who's that girl? So 80's.
  2. I clapped when I saw onthe main iTunes page that Chinese Democracy was finished! I dunno about The Killers album, I'll probs buy it, but Human makes me cringe. ---- The new Girls Aloud has a hideous cover, and what I heard in the background at HMV wasn't very interesting. Good on them for the success, they've made the most of their talent show win.
  3. N00b Inquiry; Is Sophia related to Francis Ford?
  4. He actually looks more like John *looks up* Leguizamo, from Romeo+Juliet and E.R, among other things. Though less like an evil rat.
  5. *grumbles* fucking keats essay getting in the way of me actually doing coursework/personal statement... *grumbles*
  6. wouldn't it be best if we did each line in order? So we can put a line in context? So the line is recorded, sent, among other things to whoever is doing the next line etc. Would make some sense.
  7. Just watched the repeat I missed. Holy shit. I'm glad Ruth beat Laura, that's what I wanted, but fuck's sake...Laura shouldn't have gone by any means. Not when shit like Daniel, Eoghan, and even Rachael (that show) is still in. I literally captured a crow, so I could tell it to scratch out my own eyes. To be fair, XFactor contestants often have "better" voices than popular artists. That's talent vocally only. Definitely live, anyway.
  8. SAME! It's so good. "Hiya Kaffy!"
  9. No, but it's a film I keep seeing mentioned as being amazing. I don't really know how anyone could not appreciate TWBB...it was literally amazing.
  10. Tell me you watched Nighty Night. Hardly anyone else has, and it's just the best thing ever.
  11. Well, I haven't thought of how it would work, but I'm sure it would. Y'know how live, artists might add elements of other songs to the song they're doing? I'm over it, in any case.
  12. ZOMGWTF is that?! I love Julia Davis, and am partial to a smattering of Rob Brydon too!
  13. I could need to emply my love of impromptu medleys, and have my line segue in and out of another song, that fits thematically. (Only if it works, and is appropriate)
  14. There Will Be Blood I was enraptured by this movie. And looking back, on paper it could sure sound boring. Stunning and stark masterpiece. 10/10
  15. Yep, first, based on my scan of his filmography I did earlier. I know what you mean. Loved it though, but it was a true headfuck, not just a film with interesting imagery that claims to be one.
  16. Slept in till 1 or so, my aunt had brought round the CD I'd asked her to pick up for me on her way (P!nk's new one). Dossed about, was a bit cheeky, until that got boring. I then went to the shopping centre right near me, to spend 20 quid on 3 very good (I hear) films, then came back for bacon roll for dinner. Quickie dinner as I had to go to my sisters choir thing. Chatted with some people from my year who were in it to, before leaving with my family at the interval. Finished off Eraserhead, which caused my to mentally masturbate. Debating whether to start There Will Be Blood now, since I have a ton of work to do tomorrow...
  17. Eraserhead Wow. Just wow. This is already one of my favourite films ever...just unbelievable. The use of sound in this is genius, and creates a film that is so fucking scary and terrible (in the actual meaning of the word), despite the subject matter not being "scary". It seems to evoke that feeling you'd have if you woke up to everything in your house having been changed, moved around, and no one noticing except you. Can't explain it. My mind is most definitely in distrubia, though. 10/10
  18. £20 the lot. Basically decided I NEEDED to see these. I just watched Eraserhead... *dies from amazement*
  19. I got a C at intermediate GCSE about 3 years ago, I was in the "fourth" set. Also known as the set that were so bad they couldn't do the exam everyone did. It's not about maths, anyway. It's about spatial awareness.
  20. CLICK ME Basically manipulate the blue section in each shape to whatever it asks you to do. The more accurate you are, the less points you get. let's see who can get the lowest! My score was 3.01. Any unbelievable ones WILL require picsordidn'thappen.
  21. Oh, sorry, I wasn't trying to sound condescending or anything. Just my own thought.
  22. That's actually very cool, as you're very thin, which suits Spider-Man.
