EVERY film does that, if it can. A bit like Angelina Jolie in Beowulf. Hardly a main character, and isn't in it a lot, yet got vitual top-billing.

Well at some point I'll watch some more, but right now it's not love at first sight. Just watch Blade Runner...same story (so far, I give everything a chance).

So I watched the first episode of Ergo Proxy on the recommendation of my friend. It looked interesting. Only a small semblance of having any idea what went on...kinda odd. I like the style in some ways. Nothing particularly revolutionary imo...just seemed like a retread of the Blade Runner "our robots are rebelling!" schtick.

Interesting fact for non-Giger fans; The alien we see in the popular Alien movie series...the long head was originally just a long penis, with a demonic face at one end, the penis head at the other. Though the detail taken out for the costume design, it's still indentifiable. He lifted the design from his Necrimonicon series, but the "dickhead" is featured prominently in his work.

Sorry, but there's no way they'd ever release video where she's a chain-smoking prostitute, who ends up splattered in her customers blood. At least during her starting success. They didn't even have a hint of lesbianism in IKAG... She's half-heartedly controversial. I Kissed A Girl is hardly this, is it? EDIT: Fuck! I was gonna link to Erotica or Justify My Love by Madonna, but the slag has removed all her videos.

Not really a fan of hers, and the song actually grates near the end, but that second video is WAY too racy for her audience. It has like...blood in it.

Sorry to hear that Raining....hope you're ok. A family friend (I admittedly wasn't close to, it was his sister who was really the connection to us) hasn't got long left before he passes away. It's awful. He just one day (recently) was told he had this extreme cancer...everywhere. I feel so sorry for them. We've been helping get shopping for his mum (she's old and has severe arthiritis) and offering to help at xmas and stuff.

If you watched Hellboy now, you'd actually like it. You didn't hate the first one, anyway. I hate lies. Plus you've never read Hellboy. ----- The Joy Luck Club A lovely film. Very sad (not emotional, blubbering or anything...just makes yout think about family/memories). The "main" girl's face/manner REALLY annoyed me though. For some reason. I love Ming-Na Wen, famously my favourite in E.R (before she left), being in it. China through the ages has just been really annoying to it's people. 7.9/10
