For me, & is just shift+7. &&&&&&& I know opinions varies on this forum, but Felt Mountain (their first album, nominated for the Mercury prize) is their best. Just amazing, haunting, icy-cold trip-hoppy stuff. Black Cherry is bridge from their more intorspective, haunting stuff to their more well-known dance sound. I love it, as their one after that, Supernature, is missing a humanity to it, focusing just on the dance stuff, not all of it being superb throughout. Seventh Tree is a complete departure for them, retreading the Felt Mountain sound, but with acoustic, warm feeling. My preference; 1. Felt Mountain 2. Black Cherry / Seventh Tree 3. Supernature

New Posters? Not sure...found them on EmmyRossumFanboy.com or somesuch site. I'm pervertedly excited for this, as it looks at least entertaining. More so with the new trailer. I'm a sucker for hot women beating the shit out of each other. Explaining my love of DOA as a movie.

It is lovely, but not the best from Seventh Tree. The "happiest" though, except, of course, Happiness. My fave tracks off Seventh Tree would have to be; (in no order) Clowns, A&E, Little Bird, Monster Love and Eat Yourself.

Yeah, but you're lumping everyone who buys music together. Considering you put down Young Love in your tracks, you seem to have not given Laura Marling's solo album (released this year) a listen...it's the joint album of year for me.

It was just Dante's post listing Xmas no.1's he thought were quality. I was gonna post Fairytale too, but then realised it was referring to no.1's only.

Blame bad eyesight? --- I had to shrink my signature, forced to by a mod on here. It's a "verse" from The Beast Within by Madonna, which is really just her reading out sections from The Bible (IIRC). I don't think reading it all perfectly is necesarry...it's the odd words you pick up here and there. -

Avvie 8/10 If it was bordered like your sig, would get more! Pretty awesome though, hot, matches your name colour etc. Sig 7/10 Bordered, nice, but I dislike the quote...dunno if it's from BSG or not. If not, I dislike it more. -
I don't see what else in the film is a slap in the face. I mean, I'm realistic, it's not a patch on the first two. I always recommend the first 2, they're absoltae classics in their genres. I say the 3rd is optional, watch it if you're a fan of the first 2, and the fourth is good for a laugh. The main thing wrong with the 3rd is the rubbish cgi, for me. The Alien looks...yellow..? It's odd. Unnecesarry.

I slept through both Desperate Housewives AND the time I was meant to meet peoplke in town. Oh well. I now can't stop dancing (in my chair) to Daddy Cool by Placebo.

Hmm-hmm. The entras/features in the Alien Quadrilogy kinda explain that...they just didn't want them in it. I'm glad they aren't in it, but of course it leaves you a bit cold. However, I think it's a jarring and effective scene-setter for the tone of the film. They planned out this kinda family of Alien killers, which imo would have been worse/cheesier than them just dying.

Well it's true. All the tracks on Sasha Fierce, exlcuding the first track are only Ok, with Diva being the second best cause of it's damn great beat! I Am is 30 times better though. ----- Talking of the Knowles, I was pleasantly surprised to see Sandcastle Disco making an appearance on Pitchfork's 100 best tracks of 2008! (By Solange Knowles) It's just a really nice relaxing track, with a nice retro feel, not as agressive as Winehouse and others. Dunno what the rest of her stuff is like, but I unashamdly love this song!

Girls Aloud are one of the best mainstream/chart pop band of the last 5 or however many years they've been around. Songs like The Show, Sexy! No No No..., Biology etc are just great. I'm not sure I like Xenomania that much, Tangled Up as an album is a bit too much of the same sound, and I'm not too inclined to get their new one based on clips I've heard (and being sick of The Promise). Sugababes used to be better/more credible than them. ---- Also, any other iTunes users use the Genius feature? I only just got it running due to only just now having an iTunes store account, but it's awesome! When you play a track, you can click the little genius button in the bottom right, and iTunes conjures up an instant playlist based on similar tracks/bands! Really good if you're in a certain mood! I started with Sexy Boy by Air, and the playlist it made has got stuff by Justice, Ladytron, Emilie Simon, Sia, Portishead, Moby...a mix, but they all work.

I won't pretend to know much about the Foo Fighters. but I have listened to their stuff before this, and the hype is never lived up to, becuase, as oxigen put it, what I hear isn't very interesting.
