I've found what I've heard thus far dissapointing. Just a bit...boring? Shame. I'll acquire the album at some point and give it a fair chance though. But then I got a bit sick of Meds quickly too.

I though you were The Dixie Chicks largest fan? --- Oxigen has a point, despite it being a bit moany and latching onto something not actually said/a commonly used phrase. I love it when I know artists/bands change up setlists (Tori Amos never plays the same thing, with a 200+ catalogue of songs, so it's a surprise to find out what the night will bring etc), as it seems far more..natural. Also people who seem to really enjoy performing. Patrick Wolf was brilliant on Friday, brilliantly intimate venue, he was scaling the walls of the place, running through the crowd and so on. When you get that and then go to a "normal" gig next, it seems lacking in comparison. I remember my first proper gig since being a big music lover was My Chemical Romance and I remember really enjoying it, but hating that they played the entire new album in order, then a small smattering of old songs (as an extended encore), then buggered off. Very robotic and just...boring. This is in no way to do with what was said about New Found Glory, just elaborating on what Oxigen said. I've never heard a note from NFG.

That's fine. I've never heard it either, nor am I a huge Lily Allen fan. I like her sometimes, but it's not like hearing that The Jonas Brothers covered it. In that case, I could forgive anyone for shaking and crying.

Have you actually listened to it? Maybe it's absolutely brilliant, maybe it's abysmal. How can you judge? No song is untouchable. It depends on how the coverer interprets the song and does it themselves. The original isn't harmed. In fact, the only covers tha offend me are ones that sound EXACTLY the same. Like Veronica's take on Mother Mother. They just impersonate Tracy Bonham for the whole song, virtually identical but worse, as they can't sing as well. That's just an exercise in cashing-in.

Haggis rims the Veronicas. He tried to make me too, but I refused. Untouched has so much promise, but is like a flabby pancake instead. The strings are great (love strings), but feel added, not integrated.

I recently reread all of Morrison's New X-Men except the New Tomorrow bit in the future. My dad read an issue that was lying around and said he liked it, so I plan on getting him to read it. (He read the conclusion to the Cassandra Nova arc, but I'm over spoilers, since he'll forget all about it) We thankfully have always shared similar tastes in films, music and he's always passingly enjoyed a bit of superheroics.

Is it meant to be ongoing or what? The final paragraph sounds like a movie plot. But otherwsie, the detail added makes it sound much better than before, imo.

Yeah, that was posted a few months back. There's an edited one that I found hilarious. She's really REALLY annoying in the few interviews/videos I've seen, but if she was just sans a speaking voice, her songs/videos are enjoyable enough, if you totally rubbish her claims that they are some high form of art.

What a use of a day. Got up at 2pm, and have done NOTHING all day but sit on my ass in various rooms of the house. EDIT: Actually I did some weights for like...20 minutes.

It was just unbelievable that they put 3 X-Men in the main console versions. (i.e the "current gen" at the time consoles) So no X-Men team bonus. Ridiculous. They could really have just had a lot more characters in it. Why not include Scarlet Witch? A whole model was available from X-Men 2, and she fits into the Avengers and such.

X-Men Legends 1 A classic of my gaming life. I love how the story is centered around Magma, who inexplicably seems to have the voice of an old african-american woman. Hated how you couldn't play through with characters once completed. Psylocke is annoyingly only in the last act effectively. And then she wasn't even in the second one!!! Jubilee is still great.

I think people consider a meme (is that what those are called?) and the use thereof acceptable in normal language, but more often than not, people here speak "normally". Lord, "speak". Type. Plus "would of" grates on the surface of my brain when spelt out.

I saw him live last night, and he sung fine/well. However, I think a combinations of his ear-microphone and awful acoustics hindered some of the songs, but not vocally. But as you say, I'd prefer he sacrificed some sound quality t obe such an amazing performer. Battle/Tristan last night = WOW.

I hate this show. I walked into the kitchen and saw a bit of some 17 year old boy singing the ruined-by-these-kinds-of-shows "Aint no sunshine" spouting the "this is my dream!" shit. Get a life.

Did anyone else see the music one Virgin (think it was them) did a while back? Never completed it, but it wasn't set up to be played. Otherwsie exact same premise. I'll try to find it. EDIT: In this one I find
