I sat when I saw PJ Harvey and John Parish, which I thought would be awful, but it was in the jokiest venue, it was like a sortof cross between a small dancehall and a non-religiously decorated chapel thing. The stage was basically a step up from the main floor, and there were tables and chairs and stuff. So it had a really lovely atmosphere. The band actually commented how nice it was. But yeah, it arenas and stuff, no thanks. ==== Just bought (after hearing on Spotify) Hide & Seek 2 by Imogen Heap, from a Tibet charity album thing. Really powerful version of the original, just this constant, mounting tension with this vocal track on top, a bit different from the original. A lot of her stuff leaves me dry, but this is amazing.

I'm such a fan of standing. I mean, sometimes, it wouldn't make sense. Like at Tori Amos, except at the end for the upbeat songs when we all stood-up. But for almost every other band/artist, I'd prefer to be standing. Sitting at a Paramore gig sounds ridiculous.

Dan, your X-men/Avengers; Exodus won't work for me. It works for a bit then just snaps in half/turns off.

It does seem pointless scoring virtually everything out of 10 after only a few days of having it.

MY FAVOURITE! Forgot all about that. It was so amazing. Was that the one where the people kinda plugged themselves into a virtual, surreal world? That was unbelievable.

I always loved Shocker from Spider-Man, since he wasn't insane, hell-bent on revenge or anything. Just felt realistic. I remember one where he was really realistic about things, having incorporated a vibrating force-field around him so he couldn't be touched, and then destroyed a building on top of spidey. Too easy.

That's what I used for most of them, as MSN.com is faulty (they have all the episodes for free watching, but the links lie and take you no where after season 1). I'll try the stuff you suggested just now. --- Yes, I've spent all night finishing off Arrested Development. Definitely one of the best TV Shows/things ever. Sorry Battlestar Galactica. You're not THAT good. It's just completely hilarious. I love how it has a story, and isn't purely episodic, and the world is realistic, in that things from like...20 episodes before are referenced again and again. Some bits just made me lol as I sat at my desk, staring at the blank screen in remembrance. Maeby's life in general, and especially "Marry me!". At first I thought Season 3 wasn't as good as the last two, but once it got Charlize in it, I was loving. "MISTER F!" - another bit that brings a smile to my face whenever I think about it. Used SO well in the last few episodes. "Franklin?" So unbelievably good. Gob's magic, and his voice in general. "Michael." I was genuinely sad at the end. Love reading about it on forums, all the references to future events you couldn't possibly get in only one viewing of show. Like...- 3920 replies

I had my first one yesterday. It wasn't overly exciting, just nicer than most things with caramel in, which basically makes something taste worse in the first place.

I'm crying. I'm not, but I feel like I should. I can't find the last 5 or so episodes of Arrested Development Season 3. All the rest worked at one place I watched it, but now the last ones don't. But yeah, what I've seen so far, 10/10- 3920 replies

Went out to meet friends. But as I'm 17 and they've changed the laws, I now can't get in anywhere, so we had ice cream in a cafe. Then I waited with my friends as they queued to get into a club. Then I left when they were going in. Fun being 17.

While I have most Radiohead albums and like them loads, I can never remember how most of the songs go.

I can't *find* Avengers/X-Men Exodus, but i haven't looked very far. Read the part of Utopia prior to that last night though. Looks interesting with the "island".

Tori Amos during her awful time in Y Kant Tori Read even had a bloody multi-part song; Etienne Trilogy (The Highlands - Skyeboat Song - Etienne) or whatever it was. [/trying not to reference her, but it was on topic]

YS is great. --- Yeah, most decent bands/albums change between albums. Or they'd become stagnant, and therefore be shit. --- Also, Tori Amos releases a new album in November called Midwinter Graces. It's being very loosely called a "christmas album". In the sense it's all wintery and clasical with some reworkingso f ancient carols or something.

I must be one of the last people completely happy with an iPod classic (the newer designs). I need an iPod that actually holds my music, so my 120 GB is perfect. Couldn't really do anything with a smaller one. What's the largest you can get a touch in?

A girl I knew beforehand and who is now on my art course is having an outwith college meet-up of the students, which I thought was a great idea, since some people I've still not talked to, but it's in the middle of the day, to randomly watch a movie and eat pizza. And it would jsut be painfully awkward with some of the people. I was hoping for moreo f a party, with alcohol and other fun stuff. I need to sleep anyway, this week, getting up at 20 to 8 has been death. I'll just sleep through the gathering.

I vote We Float too. The whole album is one of those albums that has such a tangible. breathable atmosphere, and this track is the standout "feel-good" one. Brilliant. Postal Service were good too, but considering I hear about the jizzings over that song so much, it was very underwhelming.
